I initially thought this product would go Out of Stock before I could cart it, but was pleasantly surprised went I got with no issues. I picked it up in store 2 days later and it was in pristine condition (new). Took it home hooked up my peripherals and monitor and it booted right up, set up my windows account, etc. within minutes. It came with a little bit of HP/Omen bloatware and McAfee installed, but I just got rid of that stuff and freed up the nearly 1TB SSD.
For the components you get in this pre-built, it is honestly hard to beat. To the folks saying the pictures were misleading, they just cannot read well, as the product description (and even the title) mention 16 GB RAM, which 99% of the time means 2 sticks. The CPU is a high-end AMD Ryzen 5 5000 series that comes with an Omen CPU fan attached. Not to mention folks we are getting an NVIDIA RTX 3060 12 GB RAM in here. For any gamers or miners out there, pick this up if you are looking to score a sick rig ready to go.
I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first given the fact I ALWAYS build my own PCs. I got this one a few days ago and am already using it to mine and game. Profits in mining BTC on this are over $1800/year by the way, so it is well worth it for that alone.
Gaming it does what you'd expect. Can run any modern Indie or major developer game at high/ultra with 60+ FPS in 4k.
Great buy!

As a new pc gamer, (15+ on consoles) this pc exceeded my expectations. After nothing being in stock for months (Covid) I decided to purchase this and it is working great.
Pros:
Lighting is RGB and customizable
Runs multiple tabs and games without issue
Can run Cyberpunk 2077 straight out the box with no issues (@1080)
Plenty of SSD
Cons:
Cable management could be better/more organized (for +$1000)
Add more/better quality fans instead of giving a basic keyboard and mouse (I understand that not everyone has another kb and mouse)

Before purchasing the OMEN, I was using a home built desktop, MSI ATX MB, 64GB RAM, i5 Intel CPU, and an Nvidia graphics card with 2GB of VRAM. It did what I wanted it to do for eight years. but needed to be upgraded and the price to do so was about the same as the price of the OMEN. Once I had the OMEN on site, and was able to do a little software tweaking, I was simply amazed at the increase in performance, especially when rendering objects and scenes in DAZ 3D, as well as handling all of my photography applications and CAD design software. This thing is rocket powered:-) It is surprisingly quiet, and HP has included their own dashboard for monitoring and changing fan speeds, lighting, screen backgrounds, etc. The RTX 3060 graphics card screams, and frame rate and detail levels are incredible ( I play a lot of FPS multiplayer games). Another factor in my buy vs build decision was the choice at 72 years old between plugging something in and tweaking it, or dealing with a substantial investment in time and the frustration of handling tiny screws and small parts in tight spaces, routing cables (did I mention that the OMEN is such a clean build that it should be used as an example of the beauty and functionality of great electro-mechanical design), etc. I am totally impressed with what HP has done with this machine, and believe me it takes more than pretty lights to urn my head. If you're looking for a solid gaming computer at a more than reasonable price you'd be hard pressed to find anything better.

I have been gaming for a long time and while i have owned multiple gamin laptops i never had a pc before. I have always been wanting to get into it but the high price of entry has kept me out BUT I ended up doing pretty alright trading crypto this year so this was my reward to myself. Omens are great desktops but they are not without issues, first of all to be clear any of the higher end models with the big beefy GPU's like the 3080 and 3090 are gonna have lots of heating issues and you will NEED to make modifications. As for the model im reviewing it runs pretty cool, i did add a couple extra cooler master fans to my case and will probably add an AIO water cooler as well. Another thing to know going into this purchase is the bios is locked and if you want to be able to add or modify your own ram you will need to buy a model with an amd cpu that can use ryzen master otherwise you will be locked to much lower speeds when you add more ram. I wont go in to the details but it is heavily documented on you tube and reddit and is easily fixable as long as your have an amd cpu. For the intel versions i believe the only way around it would be to buy a whole new motherboard and swap them.
Besides those issues i absolutely love this thing, i personally believe the 3060 is a great GPU for 1080p gaming and have had no issues. For reference I can run cyberpunk at 60 fps with max settings on ultra. For less demanding games like monster hunter world, tomb raider, ghost runner ... really anything else i have played so far, I am running 60 fps locked at ultra or high and my GPU temp generally stays in the high 50s low 60s. Obviously stuff like frame rate lock and dlss make this possible but anyways it is perfect if your looking to play at 1080p .... this is most definantly not a 4k gaming card.
I have honestly had zero issues with this computer so far and paired with the ultrawide moniter i bought for it im finding myself falling down the rabbit hole of pc gaming very fast. I dont think that a hardened vet of pc master race would feel the same about this but if your just getting into pc gaming the mid range omen 30 l models are a great place to start.

I paired this up with a 144hz 1080p Asus monitor. Played GTA 5 on normal settings and had a consistent FPS of 144hz 99% of the time. Temperatures are good when running these settings but like other people have said I’ll probably add an extra fan in the future. RGB colors are a nice touch and you can turn them off if you’d like. I’d recommend getting a RGB keyboard that lights up so you can see the keys since the one that came with the pc doesn’t light up. (I’m new to pc gaming so I’m still learning the controls). Very happy, 144hz is an eye opener.

I’m not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical as to the performance of this PC, before purchase.
Needless to say, this PC Turned out to be AMAZING.
Pros:
-The 16GB of RAM provided in this PC is RGB and in DUAL CHANNEL!
-Airflow, even though it has 2 Chassis fans, is great! I was getting max temps close to 72C (Which isn’t too bad for an air cooled prebuilt) on heavy load
-Software is easy to use ( RGB/Omen app ) are preinstalled, and gives you option to change Chassis lighting along with easy overclocking
-RTX 3060 Graphics are Amazing- ( GPU isn’t even loud )

I read the reviews for this product on Best Buy and other sources for a good long night to make sure this was worth the price. A common complaint was common problems that I figured I could fix the worst-case scenario.
So I bought this computer about two weeks ago, and as predicted, it came with many problems out of the box that would duplicate into more, the more I fixed. I spent about 8 hours in total figuring out and learning how to fix many of the problems it comes with out of the box. The cable management was excellent, and everything was plugged in properly; the software that came with it, though, that is another story. I was first having issues with the computer staying asleep when I put it into sleep mode. I was then dealing with the computer missing power plans in the battery settings; then, I was dealing with a corrupted BIOS having difficulty reading the disk drives. I had problems with the USB 3.0s working and reading things like my phone correctly; I updated drivers and nothing. Eventually, I had to mess around with some missing files preventing me from fully updating said drivers and running Windows Update. I was having problems with the files explorer freezing randomly. Eventually, I successfully fixed this thing and had it running properly for the last week. No issues since, and I hope no more; otherwise, I will be returning this product in January. This product would be an easy five stars if these major issues did not exist out of the box. Transferring data from one drive to another is a challenge in itself due to Windows 11 already being installed without a proper way of removing it and installing Windows 10. Don't get me wrong; this desktop is a powerhouse if you can dominate the problems that it can bring to the table. It can easily hit 60 FPS in any game you throw at it and will benefit from a 144hz+ monitor and even a 240hz if you do not mind playing on medium settings. Rendering speeds are acceptable for video and photography editing as long as you keep those files in the M.2 SSD.
I hope your experience will be better.

HP's Omen is very quiet and runs most games on High settings no problem. My only complaint is that the product images are not exactly what you will receive. (No liquid cooling and only 2 sticks of ram.)
Overall great value for a prebuilt with a 30series GPU

I bought this computer when I just entered Best Buy's inventory, I had no reviews or comments but it had features that I was looking for, especially a Ryzen 5000 series processor and a graphics card that we know are now difficult and expensive to get (especially the RTX series) so I took the risk of buying it but I must say that it has surprised me for good, it arrived in good condition although the greatest "detail" that I observed is that the image shown on the page is different from the article you receive, it would be good if you knew that already that I receive a computer with an air-cooled heatsink, two ram sticks and a slightly small graphic card of a single fan characteristics that differ from what is shown in the photos, for the rest I am generally satisfied but there are some things that limit this computer such as its ventilation since although the temperatures are acceptable when gaming, it may overheat when doing heavier tasks, so that a couple of extra fans or a liquid refrigeration would help to improve the temperatures and if it is possible to move the components to another case of greater size and with better air flow; also the graphics card and motherboard are OEM models manufactured by HP, the motherboard may be a bit limited but it has the necessary ports to start with (although it does not have hdmi input for integrated graphics) so changing the mobo may be something to consider.
As a conclusion for now it is a good product and the price is reasonable considering the shortage of graphics cards and this model, having good components such as graphics card, motherboard and ram memory make this product interesting.

This is my first ever actual PC and in all fairness it's going to be my PC for years to come. Once you get the basis of a good PC like this one the ways to upgrade it become easier. With the expansion slots which are shown in the manual and on their website you can make this mid-high level PC into a High End PC with simple upgrades. Not to mention the compact size of it is pretty good as well as the glass case which is really cool to look at.
Overall for the price of this, it really is fair and a good starter PC for any people to get into gaming. I've ran a lot of newer games with consistent frames and no frame drops.

Just got this computer after ordering for pickup and disappointed the shown pictures are not what was delivered. The pictures show liquid cooling 4 RAM sticks and Heat Sink on the M.2 SSD. Overall build quality appears good, and the case is very nice with off-the shelf PS and Motherboard.
Overall this is a great deal, its just disappointing that the pictures showed liquid cooling and that was not actually included.

This PC arrived in good time and in good condition. I was looking for a decent gaming computer and after reading reviews on Alienware vs HP Omen, I decided to give this one a try. Very glad I did. There's quite a difference in response time and in my FPS :) An added plus is the beautiful color you can add to the machine. I've only had it a month but already I can tell it's going to be a good one for my needs. I'd definitely recommend. Nice machine.

I’ve had this running for 2 days so far, it’s been great and if it’s not overclocked and left at factory Srin it’s very quite. The only downside was that I added a 2nd ssd Drive and it had no screws to attach the drive so I had to buy some

It's astatically pleasing. Small form factor that doesn't take up a lot of space. As others have said, it was hard finding pictures of the internals so don't rely on the stock images. This model does not come with AIO cooler. Other than that it seems pretty nice, it's very quiet and I cannot hear the fans at all even at max speed. However I am not a fan of the cpu cooler. At idle temps range between 48-52C and while gaming (cod warzone) the cpu temps range between 75-78C. The RGB lighting is nice, however it's proprietary and does not include rgb header on motherboard meaning you can't just plug and play aftermarket rgb fans. Mine had fingerprints on the inside of the glass from assembly but it was easy to remove front/side glass and clean it manually. Note, top fan was added manually while I decide which cpu cooler to use as replacement.

i bought this computer on oct. 1st. and received it on oct. 5th. i have had it for over 2 weeks now. it has met all my expectations. the only thing one needs to be careful with is heating while playing high graphics games. i remove side glass panel and place a house fan facing the inside of computer to help keep it cool. i have used this method with my last three gaming computers without incident. this is a awesome computer. i was able to set it up within 15 minutes out of the box. i highly recommend this computer. i was able to upgrade to windows 11 as i setup computer for first time.
