Yet again, another powerhouse desktop made by OMEN. This was so hard to find what I was looking for - an AMD Ryzen, 16gb of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. If you look for those specific specs, you'll find a bunch of overpriced alienware, and mac desktops. This is the far better option as it is visually so appealing with the white light setting, it gives it a skeleton look to it in the dark, and is an actual unit when it comes to performance. I could have over 8 different web browsers open, and still play valorant at 280 refresh rate, all while having blender in the background as well rendering projects. Absolute powerhouse.

Very nice gaming rig. Excellent at 1080p. Capable at 1440p. Runs Far Cry 6 at 1440p FSR ultra quality at 70-90 fps. 1 star off because it doesn’t go to sleep properly. When set to auto sleep. There’s a bug where it’s impossible to wake it up. Power button reset will not work either. Stock air cooler runs hot at 50C even when CPU is at idle. Suggest upgrading to a liquid cooling solution to prolong the components.

First one was DOA, If got another one that worked just fine. Big Thanks to Geek Squad Team in Orem Bestbuy. - Pic 1 & 5, closeup of interior. Ram is from Kingston SSD is from WD, second SSD can be added behind the Videocard. Additional RGB fan can be added on the Chassis top. RGB control is in Omen Center needs to be installed otherwise there is only a white light. - Pic 2 Videocard button, 2 Fans cool it. - Pic 3 is the Wlan connected to the Board - Pic 4 are 2 HDD bays, Installation is easy. Connectors are already there. Chassis can be opened by a Quick release button on the back. Upgrading or opening for cleaning is easy. No need to use Screwdrivers or such. Sometimes the System due Windows 11 enters sleep mode when I am to long away from it and wont wake up. Then it needs to be unplugged and restarted again. Happened twice in 3 Months not sure if a update fixed it.

Got it on sale back in oct 22. For the money good enough for someone like me only game occasionally. Not looking for high end. But I could upgrade down the down the road if need to. Had problem with sleep mode but after contacting HP service agent on the phone. They were able to fixed that remotely.

Bad overheating, had to fix gpu fan cable, was never plugged in it would run super hot, the cooling is not good, you may have to fix this pc on the first day, because it doesn’t come fully put put together i guess. Still runs hot with gpu fans now working. Power supply needs to be upgraded since it’s not running the 6600xt to well. Comes with a cheap stock cpu cooler, not a AIO, as shown in the pictures (false advertisement) this pc could definitely run a lot if it actually came with a AIO.. Definitely not worth $1350, i got it on sale for $699 i was going to get a different one but this was 650 off, worth it for the gpu and ram, at least for $699.

It runs well a little hot so would need to add more fans or a AIO but it did come damaged. The top of the case is damaged but that’s more of a shipping problem, kinda disappointed about that but overall it was worth the price I payed when it was on sell.

PC specs are great for what you pay. The only big problem that I had was the case of the pc was small and I couldn’t fit a 240mm aio, but just 120mm. Because the layout the case is so weird and the power io was blocking the space. Refer to the photos below . Also, rgb pins are missing and many important features of the mobo so you cant have any aesthetic aio with rgb and or lcd display like kraken z series. Literally a rip off mobo.

Amazing Gaming PC for the price

Bought this PC after I saw how cheap it is compared to other gaming pcs of its caliber, and I'm blown away by the sheer performance and design of it. Runs any game I throw at it at 144 fps on ultra settings, with pretty good cooling for the gpu, but needs some upgrades. The only downfall for this pc is the cpu cooler, which isn't even an aio as shown in the picture, but it has room for a 120mm fan at the top to upgrade. The ssd is also pretty quick, but doesn't have enough storage. There's a cage inside to add either a harddrive or sata ssd to get some more storage. For how cheap this pc is, it is absolutely worth it to spend an extra $150 to make it an absolute unit.

Great for the price. Seems to handle most games just fine. I have had this gaming computer for a little over a year now and have had very little issues so far. On rare occasions it will crash but runs smoothly for the most part.

The Omen 30L PC build is a great entry-level rig. The case is open and airy and very easy to work around inside. The glass panel on the side is a nice touch and I personally really enjoy the minimal feel of the case overall. The only thing that I immediately changed about it was upgrading the cooler on the processor. The pictures here show an AIO cooler, but it is indeed an air-to-air radiator (at least on the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G variant). I went with a Corsair Hydro h60 AIO cooler - it was an easy swap that took less than an hour and I've had amazing results with keeping the rig cool under heavy gaming loads. There is only room for 3 fans in this case, so not the best - but the layout helps keep air moving if you get the configuration set up right and like I said, I haven't had any issues keeping it cool under load. There are plenty of additional connections for RGB accessories, fans, and SATA hookups - you should have no problem upgrading and modifying your build with the existing hardware. Overall, a great solid build that's easily customizable and future-proofed.

OK - let's talk the Omen 30L which I've been rocking for about a month. This is a very capable gaming computer that lets me run my games on high settings. What are my games? Cities Skylines, Civ 6, Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, Parkitect, Two Point Hospital, Sim Airport, Airport CEO, Project Highrise are my main games. The system feels snappy - it just runs. The pictures posted for this computer (as of 4/8/22) are misleading. This is an air cooled system with a Radeon graphics card. (The pictures show water cooling and GeForce graphics.) The description is right but I realize not everyone reads the description. The lights on the front and inside are RGB through the Omen software. Now - there has been one place I've had a smidge of trouble and that's the RAM. I am not a RAM wizard but with the number of assets I have in some of my games, I needed to upgrade to 64 GB from the 16. Instead of paying HP's incredibly inflated prices for RAM, I grabbed two 2x16 GB 3200MHz of Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM from Best Buy but I cannot get the XMP profile for the RAM to load no matter what I try. I am also noticing its running one pair in dual channel and two sticks in single channel (my understanding is the channel problem may be limited by the controller). That being said, it's still a snappy system, even if not running to its full capability. I would recommend this system for anyone in the $1k-$1.5k budget range without hesitation. In better times this would probably be closer to a $800-900 system, but that's not the current market. Watch for it to go on sale - I snapped mine up for $1,149 on sale, which was AMAZING.

This is my first gaming PC, so i have no comparisons, was an Xbox peasant before this. Got this onsale for $699, for that price, what a steal, this thing is a beast. My main concern going in was overheating issues, as many reviewers have mentioned this, but i think they're being a tad dramatic. AMD Ryzen chips run hotter than usual, they're built for that, so after a long gaming session you see a high CPU number and freak out, but its normal. I installed 120mm fan up top for exhaust, and 140mm intake on the bottom(there's no mount, you just slide it in, plenty of room), and this PC runs cool, and silent. After installing both of these fans my CPU and GPU Temps both dropped over 20-30 degrees F. Stock i was running around 155ish gaming CPU, now with extra fans I'm in the 130s Now to the PC, like i already said, its a beast. I have a 240 Frame monitor, and I'm getting max frames on HIGH setting on almost every game I've played, Apex Legends, Battlefield 5, Valorant. Older games like GTA4 and Dead Island looks absolutely incredible on this PC, I recently played both of them on Series X and the difference is night and day. Bootup is very quick, takes maybe 5 seconds from off. RGB lights are very nice, and fully customizable, and you're able to sync your mouse/keyboard lights to your PC lights, its very cool. Only issues for me, -Pretty big issue, day 1 I put my PC into sleep for 15 minutes, come back and I have blue screen, and was forced to fully reset everything. I haven't put the PC in rest again. -Wi-Fi chip is awful. I was planning on using the Wi-Fi, as I'm gaming upstairs, router is downstairs, but I'm getting download speeds of 8mbps on a 600mbps plan. I ended up having to run a 65 ft wire up the stairs. Extra note, the HP support is answering everyone's questions wrong for this product. The top fan mount in 120mm, not 140mm, This PC ships with 2 fans, 1 front 1 back(they claimed a top fan was installed but that's false, there's a mount for one) There's plenty of room for a fan on the bottom. I fit a 140mm, but you can double stack a 120mm and 92mm if you please. Very frustrating as i bought parts based on their responses, and they were just wrong. Overall this is a great PC, and it should have no issues handling newer games for the new several years .
