Customers are saying

Customers praise the Gaming Desktop's performance and its value for the price, highlighting the speed and smooth 1080p gaming experience. Positive feedback also mentions the ample RAM and quiet operation. However, some users express concerns regarding the cooling system's effectiveness, noting that it can become noisy and cause high temperatures under load, and limitations on upgradability.

This PC was easy to set up and get running. It's powerful and doesn't have a ton of bloatware. Good value for the price in this market of impossible to get graphics cards. The main issue with the case is the cooling. It has one intake and one exhaust. The CPU was idling at 70 degrees (celsius) which is not good, it should be at minimum under fifty and ideally closer to thirty. My usual solution is to get a Coolermaster Hyper 212 to replace stock CPU coolers. This case is so thin it wouldn't fit and the cooler stuck out of the side. Fortunately, adding two more intake fans lowered the idle temps to a much more acceptable 40 degrees. If you get this, check your temps and I'd highly recommend adding a couple of intake fans. If you're not comfortable with adding parts to a pc, adding case fans is super easy. You basically just screw them in and the motherboard is marked with where to plug the cable in. For the insides, it has four slots for RAM and the graphics card has a nice clip mounted to the case to keep it from sagging. Overall, I'm very pleased and recommend the computer for anyone looking for a good gaming rig. I still plan on swapping the CPU cooler when I find a good one that fits, but it's not completely necessary anymore. tl;dr: Add intake fans, swap the CPU cooler and it's great. (It does not come with Corsair RAM, I swapped those. The RAM it comes with is fine, I just wanted more lol.)

This PC is surprisingly affordable given how expensive graphics cards have become. I have been building my own PCs for years since it is cheaper to buy the components separately. But being how difficult it is to find graphics cards these days a lot of gamers have resorted to buying pre-built gaming PCs like this one. Buying the parts that are included in this PC separately would have actually been more expensive, believe it or not...that is, if you can even find a graphics card in stock. Pre-built PCs are notorious for coming pre-loaded with trial software...so the first thing I did was disable secure boot in the BIOS and install a fresh installation of Windows 11 Home after downloading the installation media. That went flawlessly. The BIOS is "striped down" to the basic essential options like boot order, ect., and has no way to overclock the CPU at all (a disadvantage for anyone wanting to overclock), but then again you'd be building your own PC anyways if you wanted to overclock. The PC is very well built, with excellent cable management. But the pictures shown in the product advertising photos are wrong. This CPU has a fan cooler, not a water cooler. But since the Ryzen 7 CPU it comes with runs at only 66 watts, compared to other CPUs, it really doesn't need a bulky heatsink or expensive water cooler. The PC comes with a 1 terabyte PCIe-based SSD which is plenty of storage compared to some of the other pre-built PCs. And the 16Gb of RAM it comes with is nice HyperX memory that is as sleek looking as it is fast. The GPU runs relatively quiet given the airflow of this case is not the best. Other computer cases have many more fans. Proper placement of this PC will be imperative for the best airflow possible. When gaming I had no problems with the GPU at all. Playing games at 1440p at 144 FPS was a totally different experience. I actually expected it to be louder than it was. The colors of the LEDs are customizable with the HP gaming app. Speaking of software, this PC came with Windows 11 Home, which further adds to the good value it has to offer. If you want a no frills (fancy full featured motherboard, upgradability) gaming PC for not much more than what you could built yourself, and don't mind it's limitations (mediocre cooling, upgradeability, lack of onboard SATA ports/DVD drive) then this HP Omen will suit your needs.

Amazing pc for a great price. This is my first pc so i actually asked a friend who was more knowledgeable on pc's and this is above and beyond just a starter pc. Even better when paired with the Omen monitor for an ultimate gaming experience!

Overall product is excellent and easy to maintain—limited online HP support if considering an operating system update to something else like Linux. Positive rating for open-box/used purchase.

Alright! So the pc is pretty good pretty strong just lackluster to what it benchmarked to do… Now that could be my fault cause I might be bottlencking with my monitor… Overall it’s super smooth it’s runs everything smoothly it’s smart and overall super useful. It comes with windows 11 installed all you need to do is set up like 5 short things! Now the reason this pc doesn’t have 5 stars is because the temperature… I don’t mind a loud pc I’m coming from a ps4 so I really don’t care but I have to leave the pc on turbo to keep a decent temp that’s not good. Now the led on the pc looks great and despite having it on turbo it still makes no sound which is super cool.

The PC runs great out of the box. Some games see a drop in FPS, most notably Elden Ring but so far playing on high instead of maximum is smooth 60 without over locking. For what I paid for it, finding a competitive computer is difficult. It’s a great deal. Would recommend adding some liquid cooling into the PC though since it runs hot when on for a while. I also think it could benefit from a hard drive, but I haven’t installed one yet. The SSD is pretty small but like I said, works great out of the box.

Got it yesterday and after overclocking and undervaluing this PC is a beast. It gives the same performance as a 3070 for 400 dollars less. Upgrading CPU would give more FPS, but a 5700g is more than good enough. Don't forget to remove bloatware (not a lot). Gaming Performance 1080p 144Hz Monitor: Witcher 3: 130-144 FPS Ultra Settings GTA 5: 60-80 FPS Max Settings (Poor Optimization, Don't blame the PC) Apex Legends: 144+ FPS

Fourth picture of the PC is false. There is no water/liquid CPU cooler, just your common fan cooler. Good news is that it's the only thing that was false. The Ryzen 7 5700G, 16GB of RAM, and the RX 6700 XT? it's all there. Be aware that Windows 11 is installed. Before installing anything, I updated the motherboard and the graphics card drivers first. For the motherboard I went here https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-desktop-pc-30l-gt13-0000i/33492325 Once there click on the green "Detect my drivers" and it will scan your motherboard. It will ask for permission to check first. Doing this should give you the updates you need for your motherboard. For the Graphics card driver I went here https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-6000-series/amd-radeon-6700-series/amd-radeon-rx-6700-xt Since this PC has windows 11, you'll click on windows 11 64Bit Edition. I decided to download "Auto detect and install" (Scroll down and you'll see it) just to be safe. During the install, there will be some checked boxes. Leave them alone and continue with the install. its been 2 days since delivery and so far there are no issues. May PC Gods help you

For its price, it was a good purchase at that time.... added 2 1TB NVMes and its fine with 1080p gaming. Although I hate the HP motherboard, the 5700G has an integrated gpu, but the mobo doesn't have a video out...

This is my first desktop with AMD processor. I have always previously used desktops with Intel. I am impressed with the AMD processor. It is responsive with a quick frame rate. The graphics card works well. The 1 terabyte SSD is quick. This computer runs cool temperature wise the fans are very quiet. I would definitely buy AMD in the future.

I had purchased the HP Omen 30L to replace my Alienware Aurora R7 desktop PC. The pro(s) and con(s), in my opinion, are listed below, Pro(s) * Price (on sale for $1429.99 at time of purchase - regular price is $1579.99) * Air cooled (less maintenance than liquid cooling) * 6700 XT (mining capable and has 12GB video memory) * Omen Gaming Hub is easy to use * Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth * Easy to open/access case * 4 RAM slots Con(s) * I/O Ports (4 USB-A and 2 USB-C in the rear / 2 USB-A on top) - honestly, I have many RGB gaming accessories and 4 USB-A ports on the rear is pathetic and really disappointing. * Air cooled (it's great that it's "less" maintenance, however, the fans they provide I wouldn't consider top of the line either but for this price range, I'm satisfied * 1 m.2 slot (I ended up purchasing 2 4TB WD HDD to expand my storage for misc. and just use the 1TB SSD for the OS and primary software) * No USB-C port on top * Power supply is only 600 Watts

A great replacement for my old aging PC. Plays all my favorite old games beautifully and no issues playing newer modern games either. Gets a little loud every now and then if I'm doing a bunch of stuff but cools down and stops quickly.
