    HP needs quality control

This PC was damaged out of the box. Two tabs holding the top panel to the chassis were not seated correctly, with one of them even being snapped. This was ultimately a cosmetic issue only. Worse, though, was that the machine itself was defective. After starting the PC up, it only ran for minutes before a blue screen error occurred and refused to boot after that, with no display or USB activity from then on. Pulling and reseating components didn’t resolve the issue, and resetting the CMOS via jumper or battery was ineffective. I assume the issue is with the Hana motherboard. It’s a nice, understated design and it was quite quiet for the few minutes it was working while ostensibly doing Windows 11 updates. However, HP’s continuing problems with quality control make it too much of a gamble. If you truly need a prebuilt PC (which is the case for lots of gamers right now who can’t source GPUs easily otherwise) then save a few hundred bucks and go with a no name brand. You’ll have the same lottery experience and can put the money you save into a better designed case down the line anyway.

    Poor memory timings

CAS latency of 22, in spite of having memory modules capable of 16 or better. See the discussion "Poor memory timings" at "HP Community > Gaming > Gaming Desktops" for details. The limit is in the motherboard/BIOS.

Great Desktop computer to handle my web and graphic design applications. This system allows me to add more components from ram to memory which I have done and it's even more powerful than ever. This is highly recommended for anyone in the web, graphics, or gaming.

Slightly Overpriced Runs Pretty Hot. Get new case.

Decent price for the time I bought it in. Don't necessarily recommend now that gpu prices appear to be going back down a bit. More importantly, if you do decide to get this, budget for a case/motherboard swap. Runs pretty hot at these specs and not much expandability for cooling. Also, the rear and top I/O are pretty sparse. Do quite like to feel and lighting of the case, wish it wasn't such a hotbox.

Even with all of its specs it did not run as well as a 3070 ti should, I ended up selling the omen and getting a custom build off nxt (i have no affiliation with them just writing a refering to them would very much reccoment though), I wouldn't reccomend this pc its really just all cool with the lights and has "1tb" and "Rtx 3070" in the the name nothing against pre builts just this one inperticular. It also just pushes its app on (literally put it right in my taskbar and when and its a game "booster" when I started games it would ask me if i wanted to use it so you have to go on the app and go through the tutorial and turn that off its just a little but of a hastle. But thats really all I have to say about this garbage.

Great purchase if you can get it on sale. Just add more fans and it works fine. the case is cool enough if you add in more fans to case. On youtube, most people add in 2-3 more fans. I added 3 fans with a fan controler and it works great and runs cool.
