240Hz gaming monitor! What a crystal clear display for gaming, movies and any other uses. I ran this thing through some intense matches and watched some sports as well, nothing could phase it. Ghosting was non-existent and clarity was top notch. I can't wait to get two more for my new rack. Use the display port to sync with your GPU for amazing quality and zero lag. USB hub built in, VESA mount and anti glare screen finish it off. A six pack of these would be AMAZING!

The Omen monitor has enough ports to last for days, and personally, I think they're grouped in a pretty logical fashion. The monitor resides on a narrow arm and slides smoothly up and down. One small ding is that the arm doesn't swivel at all, but the base is flat so you can just rotate the entire monitor if you need more lateral rotation. the screen is a thing of beauty. 240 mHz refresh rate, but in layman's terms, I can play Overwatch without noticing any flickering. Colors are accurate, albeit the default is warmer at baseline than any of my other monitors. Not a bad thing, but when I first set this up in a dual screen setup, I could immediately tell the whites weren't as cold. Easily adjusted High performance gaming monitor with an unobtrusive footprint. There's a hook built into the monitor stand so you can rest your headphones. Built in cable organizers in the form of two rings to thread your cables through. Clearly thought out for functionality.

Unboxing this monitor was not the most fun I've ever had. The monitor is shipped with a plastic bracket that keeps it from sliding up and down on its stand while shipping. Removing this bracket was an awful experience that I never want to repeat (word of warning: be careful trying to remove it at an angle as it can get stuck VERY securely - I had to carefully attack it with a Dremel to get it out). The monitor itself is awesome. It's built very solidly (and weighs a ton). It has a variety of ports on the back including USB ports (requires another cable for a connection to a computer for data transfer), Displayport, and HDMI. I currently have my computer plugged into the monitor via the Displayport connection, and the image is amazingly crisp and saturated. The options menu for the monitor is navigated by a little joystick nub on the back. I absolutely hated this the first time I used it, but I quickly got used to it. The monitor has a built in accent light that's capable of changing colors and illumination patterns. By default, the lighting is bright red, but I've changed it to blue to match the rest of my gaming setup. This is a great monitor.

This is really a great monitor in so many waves. I don't like to regurgitate specs that are available in the description, this monitor is way better than any I've used before. Phenomenal refresh rate and vivid colors well being extremely thin and energy efficient.

I had the chance to test this monitor and to compare it to a comparable Alienware monitor (same size and specs). Honestly, I could not tell the difference. Both were amazing monitors and offered compelling refresh rates. Both monitors had great height adjustability and pivot up and down. The other monitor had a nicer stand that really did look like an "alien". The HP stand is considerably cheaper looking and feeling but it did function as intended. I would definitely cross shop this with competitors and understand that you can't go wrong with this unit, but all things being equal, I'd buy on the price for a name brand gaming monitor (and not some cheap unit). I noticed no motion blurring when playing games on this (nor did I on the alien one). I believe also that this size (24.5") is the bare minimum size I'd buy for gaming even if I was pairing up another monitor to go with it - that's just my opinion. This is a good gaming monitor but it has nothing that stands out above similar gaming monitors spec to spec (unless you count the red LED lighting that cascades across the desktop from the bottom of the monitor).

First the packaging for this monitor is great and it was delivered in perfect condition. I liked how HP did not skip on any of the cables. This monitor works great and looks even better. The colors and refresh rate are top notch. I was very impressed with how this monitor just worked great with the Omen software on the HP PC. The only down fall this moinitor has is that it is only 1080p. The nice thing about it being 1080pm is that it makes the experience above average, It has a very thin besel and is a joy to use. I'm now looking for my next Omen device. Thanks HP.

Great monitor once you set it up and mess round with the display settings. At first i wasnt sure how to get it to 165hz, i quickly learned my hdmi doesn't support up to 144hz. To achieve 165hz u have to use the display port that comes with the monitor and then change the monitor display rate to 144hz in display settings and enable g sync in nvidia control panel. now on your monitor look for the overclock option, enable it and now you can change your monitor display to 165hz in display settings>advanced display settings>display adapter properties. Trying to fine tune it takes a bit of trial and error as there is no clear cut reference to use for help Comes with a vesa mount and a normal stand. easy to change out and use

This gaming monitor is great. The display has excellent clarity and color accuracy. It's 1080p resolution is more then enough for all the games I play. It's response time is incredible. There is hardly any lag and I haven't noticed any excess motion judder or blur. The style is also pretty sleek and pairs great with any computer. This is a must have for gamers.

I just bought my monitor from my local Best Buy store, and I’m highly impressed. I’ve never had a monitor with such a high refresh rate and response time and it’s truly worth the money. I can see a huge difference and I can already tell this will be a monitor I’ll keep for a very long time and when the time comes To upgrade my monitor I will stick to the hp omen.

When I picked this monitor up after purchasing my Omen Obelisk, I didn't have any idea what was in store for me. Not only is this monitor beautifully made and designed to fit any set up, but it also boasts some of the most beautiful images I have ever seen on a monitor. I honestly cannot recompensed this more highly, and if you have the money I would strongly suggest investing in this product. HP has outdone themselves with this new Omen brand, and I cannot wait to see what they do in the upcoming years.

has stood the test of time I've had it for over two years now and it works great just wish it had a normal power button instead of a joy stick
