Many appreciate its lightweight and portable design, along with the effective cooling system. However, some users note limitations with the GPU's power, especially for demanding gaming. Great Laptop, wish for a better screen

Great HP computer with High Specs. Only problem is the short battery that you can stretch to 7 hours with battery saver. Can play games in high setting and is very light to carry. The only thing that can be improved is the screen as it is 1080p, wish it could have come with a better and higher resolution screen. When on low battery, the screen does buffer, but it goes away when connected. Comes with a 140w charger so it will charge very fast.

This was the perfect laptop for me, a 32 gb ram with a good punch of performance, the screen is oled which is perfect for my programming and gaming, also very light and compact but you have enough screen ratio. It was perfect but the trackpad did not feel premium enough for the price other than that it worked completely fine

The 4070 model cooling is both amazing and efficient. Doesn't get super hot . I used to have a 2070 and that laptop got very hot and load. I didn't notice any performance drop while running on battery . The top performance I heard maybe limited but I don't know why . I like the sleek look and it's very portable

The best laptop to boot. Awesome graphic card 4070 and superb memory. The screen display in bar non excellent. With the 13 Gen i7 processor zooming away with superior results. Best investment I ever made.

Overall this is a great mobile unit. Started with a ASUS Zephyrus G14 with the same 4070. NOT EGPU compatible and ASUS will not handle any support due to a "Best Buy" product. So I went for this even with the low power delivery hamstringing this unit. Its light and compact and love the package. Screen is beautiful and it checks all the boxes. To top it off it supports eGPU through the thunderbolt port unlike the Asus G14. Only have 2 issues. #1 Why cant the Omen software have a list of the updates for this unit? One thing I did like about the Armory Crate for ASUS was it was easy to update through that. #2 after a few hours of useage it freezes up on me and I have to do a hard reset. This also happens when it goes to sleep for a long period. Cant get it to wake up. Wondering if I just have a bad unit.

This laptop, it's a good laptop, it's portable and powerful. Fan noise is really quiet and for those who complain about its overall power. It does everything you needed to do just fine. My only complaints is you have to use the stock charger Even if you're not gaming. Also, it feels just a little cheap to be a two thousand dollar laptop, And the battery life is a little short.

Great product, I primarily purchased with the use of being able to use it for my architecture classes with certain software being kind of heavy to run on regular laptops. Runs all my programs well and even used it little for gaming and it runs all my games smoothly with no fault and at any quality.

I wrote a previous review of the 4060 model noting that I loved everything about the device but had a bad wifi/bluetooth card and some driver issues. The 4070 model I replaced that one with has been flawless. As stated previously, Great (GREAT) screen. It's quiet under load compared to other gaming laptops. The speakers are pretty good -- they don't get super loud but they can produce a hint of bass which is nice. The keyboard feels good; the build quality feels good. And it performs very well. Very happy with this device.

I've read a bunch of reviews on here trashing this little unit, and granted I've only had it for a week so things may change in the future, but I love it. I've been using this to stream ps5 gameplay through an elgato 4kx on OBS, and it's been handling it like a champion. Like multiple internet browsers up to look at maps, a discord voicecall, spotify, and obs with sounds/bells/whistles cruising all at the same time and it's barely warm to the touch. People are correct that the power it "throttled" to 65w or 80w when overclocked, you won't hit the fps in ultra mode of a razerblade 16 with the same kit. But you also won't have a laptop that cooks itself (I'm looking right at you alienware!) because they hadn't though about cooling. While playing destiny and palworld at medium settings I was easily hitting 70-80 fps, and again barely warm to the touch. I did wish that this had more ports, but that's the trade off of having a laptop that is this small. If you are looking for a full fledged gaming laptop that can hit 120fps in ultra mode, you'd probably want to look at an MSI or Razerblade. If you're looking for something that is super portable, that has the power for intense work tasks, has good cooling, and will keep you happily fighting zombies until you get back home to your console then look no further. Screen is gorgeous too if you care about that type of thing. I have it hooked to a bigger monitor.

First time laptop gamer - previously used PS5. Really love this laptop - also I purchased open-box in excellent condition. Everything came and worked as expected. Very sturdy machine - the display is awesome. Battery life leaves a lot to be desired, but that seems to be true for most laptop gaming pcs.

Product Review: HP Omen 14-Inch Laptop

The HP Omen 14-inch laptop is a fantastic device that strikes a great balance between work and gaming. Its compact size and lightweight design make it an excellent companion for frequent travelers, and its performance easily handles both productivity tasks and gaming. Pros: 1. Great Performance: Whether you're tackling work projects or enjoying your favorite games, this laptop delivers smooth and reliable performance. 2. Portability: The 14-inch form factor and lightweight design are perfect for those who are always on the go. 3. Versatility: It transitions seamlessly from a workstation to a gaming machine, offering versatility for a variety of needs. Cons: 1. Battery Usage Concerns: While there doesn’t seem to be an option to limit charging to 80% to preserve battery health, several technicians assured me that occasional use on battery power (every couple of weeks) should be sufficient to maintain its longevity. 2. Battery Life During Gaming: Gaming on battery power isn’t ideal, as it lasts only about an hour and a bit before needing to be plugged in. 3. Limited USB Ports: With just two standard USB ports, you might need an extension if you regularly use multiple peripherals. Conclusion: Overall, the HP Omen 14-inch laptop is a solid investment for gamers and professionals alike. While there are minor considerations like battery management and the limited number of USB ports, its portability, performance, and stylish design make it well worth considering. Just keep a charger handy for gaming sessions and consider a USB hub if needed!

The design of The computer is sleek and discrete unlike a lot of other gaming laptops. The system stays cool while gaming. Only downside is that the 4070 is only a 50w tdp, so it doesn’t perform as well as a lot of computers with the same specs. It is a sacrifice that had to be made for the form factor.
