Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Transcend 14" laptop's build quality, vibrant OLED display, and strong performance for everyday tasks and studying. Many appreciate its lightweight and portable design, along with the effective cooling system. However, some users note limitations with the GPU's power, especially for demanding gaming. The smaller size of the laptop is also mentioned as a potential compromise for some users.

Overpriced for size, speed, and storage. Found out after the fact it's much cheaper to just do a custom build through dell. You just have to be willing for them to build and ship it.

    Fine piece of garbage

Oh boy, where do we start! Pros- -Saturated OLED screen that will inevitably dim and be worthless. -Shiny Cons- -Tons of bloatware that slows the laptop down, severely annoying. -Terrible Intel processors that always burn everything up. -Designed to look pretty, but functionally useless. Not enough space for good airflow, laptop heats up extremely fast. -Heat causes severe performance issues, can't even do medium workloads without SEVERE frame lag / slowdowns. -If you so much as keep it rested on a flat surface (like any other laptop/computer) while gaming, the laptop will power itself off from the intense heat buildup, happened 3 times already. It really just seems like no thought went into designing these "gaming" laptops. Great if you're looking for a portable space heater I guess? You aren't getting the advertised specs / performance once the heat builds up, and that happens in 1 hour or less. Ignore the benchmarks people like to delude themselves with, build yourself a nice custom PC, if portability really does matter to you, then buy a Steam Deck.

Open box unit with bad NVidia video card

Bought an open box unit in excellent condition. Started setting it up only to realize the 4070 graphics card was not showing up. The only video card available was the Intel Arc. Returned it same day as received. So, if you buy an open box unit after October of 2024, make sure it isnt the one I got and validate that the NVidia card is actually working.

Panel issues such as flickering. This signals poor build quality. Over a small period of time, the computer keyboard would stiffen.

For the first time, Omen has made a 14-inch model. It's good because it's light and suitable. However, the target of comparison is Asus's G14, so it is a good enough model. I buy this product when it is on sale and use it at a low price. However, if the price is the same, I would also like to support the g14. The clear advantage over the g14 is that it dissipates heat very well and high-frequency sounds are not heard.

    Decent Gaming Laptop

The performance is decent. The ROG G14 OLED. Is a much better 14 inch laptop with a significant difference in sound and performance. The HP Omen Trancend is beautiful but feels very frail. The lid is very flimsy. I never dropped mine or abused it in any way whatsoever. I opened the lid up one day and discovered a crack across my screen. Probably from the flex when opening the lid from regular use. Maybe mine was a lemon.
