I've stuck to Macbooks for the last 20 years because I love that crisp detail on the screen. I like gaming, but I do a lot of writing and reading online for work, and I always felt like the letters on websites were a little blurry on every PC monitor I've ever used before. This monitor is the first one I've tried that can compete with the Mac monitors on that front. It's GORGEOUS, and it's also fantastic for gaming too! It didn't feel that huge in the store, but once I got it home to my desk, it felt much bigger. I love it and we are saving up for a second one to add to the game room ASAP as well!

First off i would like to thank brady at the east madison location for wonderful customer service. The monitor is beautiful and has great color and contrast. Besides the lack of swivel i still thought the base stand was made of a heavy duty enough plastic to be sturdy enough for me and probably most people. Great settings on the actual monitor with multiple gaming modes and other modes like cinema is great to see. Thanks again brady for talking me into buying and the salted and pepper bearded geek squad home theater install guy i think for talking me into it as well! Couldn't be happier!!

This is my first OLED as well as first 4K display. The picture on this display is incredible. I didn't know what I was missing and now I will never go back. I use this for work and gaming and no issues with either. Text is clear and crisp for work, while motion, clarity, and response time is amazing for gaming. For me, the extras HP provides with this display are worth the price. Internal speakers, a 3.5 audio out jack, built in KVM, and 140w usbC charging make this a package that stands out above the rest.

Amazing display! I got an open box rated as "excellent" condition.... it was mostly in perfect condition for close to half off MSRP so i am super happy with it!

I am actually very pleased with the monitor. I had the Alienware 34" OLED monitor and loved it. But for normal everyday stuff and browsing, I found myself needing a regular monitor. I originally went in to get the LG dual mode 32" but all they had was an open box with a dead pixel. This was on sale for the same price so I took a chance. The colors really pop on this thing. It took a couple of days to get used to a non wide-screen monitor but now that I am, I don't think I can go back. Overall, I love it.

Great Monitor, Image quality is flawless. This monitor uses the same Samsung pannel as some other 4K oled monitors and this one cost less when it is on sale. The only thing that I have to complain about is the backlighting on the monitor won't turn on anymore after a week, not a deal breaker but somthing to keep in mind. Got on sale open box for $750 so best to look out for deals. If you are debating glossy or matte go with this glossy finish,it looks amazing would recommend for sure.

Bought two and ended up returning. Love the design and when it worked right it was beautiful. HP is all sorts of confused on the warranty. I fought with them for a month as their registration site only said I had 8 months of what was supposed to be a 3 year warranty. They still would not validate that it was three years when I returned it, nor would they confirm burn-in protection. Caveat emptor there... Beyond that, I had all sorts of connectivity issues with the latest firmware (1.06b). My USB devices would randomly not work or disconnect, one display would just stop displaying content randomly (yet the OSD would work) and I'd have to power it off completely to get the content to display again. This happened almost every day I used it, which...while not a huge pain, was just annoying over time. All in all, I gave up and returned them. Lack of response on the warranty, no confirmation on the burn-in protection, and wonky connectivity should not happen. I'll take a shot with another brand, but it's too bad because it was a really beautiful picture...when it worked.

I’m not one to leave a review on a purchase but since this monitor has become a part time job recently I thought it would be helpful to share. First the monitor picture is beautiful, nicer than any monitor I have ever used before. 240hz 4k QD OLED delivers and games feel super smooth and look incredible. The LED light on the back is super bright and rich and will help fill up a room with more color, when it works. I am currently exchanging my 3rd model. The first two (through Best Buy), the LED light didn’t work after a few days and I was unable to update the firmware. The 3rd (through HP support exchange) would just lose video input signal after about 8 seconds, making it impossible to troubleshoot or update the firmware (or use it at all through HDMI or DP). It’s become very annoying to exchange models and I am expecting my 4th model once HP exchanges. I recommend buying through HP directly if you do purchase in case you need to get a refund instead of being stuck in a warranty loop and only being able to exchange it for another model. I hope the next one just works as advertised but this monitor seems to have some bugs. If it works it’s a 5/5 without a doubt. Since I’m 0/3 so far on working monitors, a 2/5 is generous.

Great monitor. I like the Eco setting best. Calibrating for HDR content took a while to make the picture not look washed out. Beware, this beast has a large power brick so make sure you have ample floor or desk space.

I absolutely love this monitor. It’s bright. The sound is awesome. The picture is clear. The different modes are great. Excellent purchase. Do not regret. I thought the white backing was going to bother me but I don’t even notice it.

This monitor boasts exceptional picture quality, standing at the pinnacle of modern monitor technology. I also appreciate its glossy finish, a departure from the prevalent matte trend in today’s monitors. The only downside is its stand. It appears and feels rather cheap, considering the $1000 price tag. A high-end monitor should come with a sturdy, all-metal stand. Unfortunately, the included stand looks like it’s made of dirty, recycled black plastic (with just some metal parts inside). Disappointing, HP.

I wanted my monitor to handle seamless switching between my personal and work computers as well as double as a TV display. Works as a KVM and its very easy to configure inputs and toggle between inputs. And while it's not a "smart" monitor, I hooked up an Apple TV to an HDMI input and when I turn the Apple TV on, the monitor turns on and switches to the correct input. Perfect for my needs and miles ahead of Samsung smart oled monitors (I have one for another system).

It’s an excellent choice if you want to achieve the highest possible picture quality in your video games or movies. However, ensure that you have top-notch hardware (such as high-end PCs or gaming consoles) and high-speed internet (to watch 4K HDR movies with Apple TV) to fully enjoy the experience. Additionally, regularly visit the HP website to stay updated on any monitor-related software or firmware updates.

Very vibrant display. Very difficult to clean the glossy panel, but seems this applies to all glossy QD-OLED panels. This monitor also offered plenty of ports and a very useful MKV switch. I wish the power supply was a bit smallel and the monitor was all black.

Amazing monitor, has great brightness levels for HDR and very crisp and clear picture without too much reflection from glossy screen.

These are nice monitors for gamers who want the benefits of QD-OLED technology and a super high refresh rate. Unfortunately they lack the brightness required to make the most of HDR. Color luminance is simply not comparable to that of a QD-OLED television. 240Hz is nice, but I decided to return my unit because the gaming experience is still better on my 144Hz TV.
