HP OmniBook 5 Flip 2-in-1 14” Touch Screen Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OmniBook 5 Flip 2-in-1 14” Touch Screen Laptop (model 14-fp0023dx) is a stellar blend of versatility, performance, and style, making it an excellent choice for students, professionals, and creatives alike. Powered by an Intel Core 7 Series 1 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD, this laptop delivers snappy performance and a premium user experience, all wrapped in a sleek Glacier Silver chassis. After spending time with this device, I’m impressed by its thoughtful design and robust feature set, which make it a standout in the 2-in-1 category. First, the 14-inch 2K (2240x1400) touchscreen display is a highlight. The IPS panel offers vibrant colors and sharp details, perfect for everything from streaming high-definition content to editing documents or sketching with a stylus (sold separately). The 360-degree hinge allows seamless transitions between laptop, tablet, tent, and reverse modes, adapting effortlessly to any task. Whether I’m typing up notes, binge-watching shows, or presenting in tent mode, the display’s responsiveness and clarity never disappoint. The Corning Gorilla Glass adds durability, ensuring the screen can handle the rigors of daily use. Performance-wise, the Intel Core 7 Series 1 processor paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM handles multitasking with ease. I ran multiple browser tabs, Office 365 apps, and streaming services simultaneously without a hint of lag. The 512GB SSD provides ample storage for files, apps, and media, with fast boot times and file transfers that keep workflows smooth. For light creative tasks like photo editing or casual gaming, the integrated Intel Arc graphics deliver solid performance, making this laptop versatile for both work and play. The build quality is another win. At just over 3 pounds, the OmniBook 5 Flip is lightweight yet sturdy, with a premium metal chassis that feels luxurious. The backlit keyboard is comfortable for extended typing sessions, with well-spaced keys and a satisfying click. The large haptic trackpad is responsive and precise, rivaling some of the best in the industry. Connectivity is robust, with two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and an HDMI port, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of peripherals. Battery life is impressive, lasting around 10-12 hours under typical use, including web browsing and video streaming. While not the longest in its class, it’s more than sufficient for a full day’s work or study. The 65W USB-C charger supports fast charging, getting you back to 50% in about 45 minutes. Windows 11 Home runs smoothly, with minimal bloatware, and the inclusion of Copilot+ PC features adds AI-driven productivity tools that enhance workflows. Overall, the HP OmniBook 5 Flip 2-in-1 is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a portable, powerful, and flexible laptop. Its gorgeous display, solid performance, and premium design make it a joy to use, whether for work, creativity, or entertainment. At Best Buy’s competitive price with their Price Match Guarantee, it’s a smart investment for a high-quality 2-in-1.

Lap top purchasing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best PC for the money that i could find. Very easy to set and get running. Battery seems to last a long time. No waiting for it to wake up. Light weight compared to others in the price range. Only frustration was the sales clerk. He wanted to talk about extended warranty more than explain all the applications. I finally had to be blunt and tell him to stop.

Great laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve never had an HP before and I’m amazed how a great laptop it is. Initially I bought this laptop for traveling purposes but I’m using it more and more on a daily basis. The performance is great and even if you use many programs at the same time it doesn’t freeze. The battery is very efficient and lasts a long time. The versatility of this laptop plus the efficiency is hard to compare when other laptops sacrifice battery use with an increase in performance.

Sleek, Fast, and Super Versatile – Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the HP OmniBook 5 Flip for a few weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. Right out of the box, it feels premium — the Glacier Silver finish is sleek and modern without being flashy. It’s thin, lightweight, and perfect for carrying around for work or school. Performance: The Intel Core 7 handles multitasking effortlessly. I typically run multiple Chrome tabs, video calls, Excel, and design software simultaneously — no lag at all. The 16GB of RAM makes a big difference in keeping everything smooth, and the 512GB SSD provides fast boot times and ample storage for my needs. Display & Touchscreen: The 2K display is stunning — crisp, vibrant, and bright enough to use outdoors. The touchscreen is super responsive and accurate. I didn’t expect to use the 2-in-1 flip feature as much as I do, but it’s fantastic for streaming, reading, or taking handwritten notes with a stylus. Keyboard & Trackpad: Typing feels great — keys are responsive and well-spaced. The trackpad is smooth and precise, and gestures work without any hiccups. Battery Life: I get around 8–10 hours on a full charge with mixed use, which is solid for such a powerful device. Final Thoughts: This is an excellent choice for students, professionals, or anyone looking for a high-quality 2-in-1 laptop that’s powerful, portable, and stylish. Highly recommended!

An asset for higher education
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this computer. The different modes of use are valuable and use is clear and easy. The only part I dont like is the screen feels like two different pieces so it feels like there is a ridge in top. This doesn't impact anything at all, it is just a visual aspect that im not fond of. However, this computer is well worth the money and I am hoping that it lasts through undergrad and my masters.

HP Omnibook 5
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the HP Omnibook 5 for a little while now, and here’s my honest review. First off, for the price, I think it’s a solid device. It’s lightweight, which I really appreciate because I move around a lot, and I don’t want to carry something bulky. The design is simple, clean, and feels pretty modern. It doesn’t look cheap even though it’s not super high-end either. Performance-wise, it does the job for everyday tasks. I use it mostly for things like emails, documents, browsing, maybe a little streaming, and it handles all of that just fine. Battery life is actually better than I expected. I’ve gone several hours without needing to charge it, which is super helpful when I’m out or don’t want to be tied to a wall plug. Overall, I’d say the HP Omnibook 5 is a good choice if you’re on a budget and need something reliable for basic work, school, or personal use.

Solid for everyday use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Build quality is very nice for a mid-range laptop. Absolutely love the keyboard-typing is a dream. Trackpad is a bit sensitive but I use a mouse often anyway. Screen definitely looks nice especially for something that isn’t OLED. Set up was easy and speeds for various tasks so far seem to be good. Battery life is sufficient and charging is quick. Lots of ports for everything I need but they do tend to hold onto anything I put in with a death grip. Occasional glitches on edge but it could be a browser issue rather than the machine itself. Overall for someone who doesn’t need a laptop for anything fancy this machine has been great.

Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OmniBook 5 Flip 14 surprised me in the best way—it blends style, power, and flexibility into one device. The Glacier Silver chassis feels premium, the 2-in-1 hinge works smoothly, and the 2K touch display makes reading, streaming, and sketching enjoyable. With 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD, it handles multitasking easily, and the battery lasts long enough to get through most of a day without worry. Modern touches like a sharp webcam, WiFi 6E, and a backlit keyboard round it out. It’s not flawless: brightness tops at around 300 nits, which struggles outdoors; integrated graphics mean it isn’t built for gaming or heavy video rendering; and the hinge has a little flex in tablet mode. Still, those are trade-offs that make sense at this price. Overall, this laptop is perfect for students, professionals, and travelers who want one device that works as a laptop, tablet, and entertainment hub. It may not satisfy gamers or creators needing top-tier performance, but for most users, it’s a stylish, reliable, and versatile everyday machine—and a great value.

Laptop review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall satisfied with this laptop. The battery is fantastic, and speakers are decent for a budget laptop. I am using it as mostly a .pdf and multi-tab web browser. Occasionally I will hook it up to my TV for a website based viewing experience. Which is why i give this a 4 star, if it hasn't had the hdmi engaged in a while, nothing short of physically removing it from the laptop and reinserting it will get it to send signal again.

I’m very happy I upgraded to this lap.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fast, easy to use. Geek squad set me up great. My 12year old HP finally gave out. Didn’t need a huge or extensive laptop for my occasional use. I’m not concerned with media card, but if you are then this machine doesn’t read one.
