So much power in quite possibly the ideal size for a laptop! I've had 15" or larger screen for my previous two laptops (this is my third in 15 months), and I love the power and the size of this machine. THANK YOU HP!

This is one of the best purchase I made in 2025. Best laptop with vibrant , clear Oled display with strong battery life, 2 in 1 feature, good sound quality. I am really impressed with this product and am enjoying my best buy.

Excellent laptop. I was looking for a 14” laptop that had significant power in the processor. This Core i9 absolutely delivers. I use this daily to chart in Epic and it runs Epic like it’s nothing. I have even run two EMRs simultaneously and it didn’t slow whatsoever. Very pleased with this purchase. Stylus is acceptable although I wouldn’t say better than iPad Pro (M5), which is slightly better. That said, the stylus is quite acceptable, anticipate using this for lectures.

I bought and returned every laptop in the store and felt wrong about all of them except this one. It can do just about everything well and doesnt get too hot even when gaming. The only way it could really be improved is if they brought the gaming performance up a bit and with the new panther lake 388H if they put that in this chassis it would be absolutely perfect. with that said im still enjoying my 288v very very much

Fantastic specs, great feel, lightweight but was a disaster from day 1. Bought this during an incredible sale and tax free month after doing a lot of research on devices. It has everything I wanted and more. But…Components of this model were corrupt and I spent the first 3 weeks dropping it off at Geek Squad. Windows 11 cumulative update wouldn’t run, device was Biocked, they had to reinstall Windows 11, login would revert to generic “owner” after pin was setup, HP firmware update did run properly and caused computer to crash and fans to run until hard shutdown, mouse cursor would periodically change sizes and would revert to large size after doing all the troubleshooting fixes, computer would not turn on reliably after 2 rounds of diagnostics and Geek Squad saying the system operated as it should. Didn’t want to take my chances with an exchanged unit so I returned this device as I was within my return policy. Hope it was just this unit, but beware if it has multiple issues out of the box.

I bought this laptop after changing from another one I was just about to buy. The biggest seller for me was it has 16 GB dedicated GPU. I like that I do not have to share the 32 GB of memory with the GPU. The 3K OLED touch-screen looks amazing. I would recommend this Laptop after comparing many others in its class.

This computer works great for me. Seems like the best processor in the game and so worth the price especially when it goes on sale. Aesthetics are nice and really light and durable. Took it on a 5 day work trip and worked great. I typically use 3 screens but was able to just use this laptop on the road and had no issues whatsoever

Overall the laptop is great but not perfect. So far it is worth keeping.
Upgrading from AMD 7480u HP laptop. Mainly needed 32gb of ram.
USB-C ports are rejecting half of my docking stations and USB4 hubs. Just odd as I can run a display with USB-C to HDMI cable but the same monitor will not run over USB-4 dock or USB 3.1 Dell dock. Neither USB 3.1 nor Thunderbolt ports recognize docks and hubs.
Must be thunderbolt standard conflict? But why USB 3.1 port? Now need to shop for a new docking station and a travel hub.
Only 3 USB-C ports is more of an issue then I thought without a dock. I run travel external displays and the ports often fill-up.

Excellent build quality and performance. I would give it 4.5 stars if available and would have given 5 stars if the battery lasted a bit longer and it was a bit lighter.

I really wanted this to be my long-term laptop because it looks great on paper: OLED display, premium design, haptic touchpad, Windows Hello, and a modern “AI PC” platform. The screen is legitimately beautiful, and the touchpad is one of the best I’ve used on any Windows laptop.
But the more I use it, the more I feel like I might return it mainly because the daily experience isn’t matching the premium price.
The biggest dealbreaker for me is the typing experience. The keyboard feels overly clicky/clacky and doesn’t have the satisfying, solid feel I expect from a “premium” machine. Obviously that's just preference, and it sounds minor until you’re using it for school/work but over time it becomes irritating and has annoyed others in meetings. I type a lot, and I need a keyboard that feels smooth, stable, and quiet enough to enjoy using. This one doesn’t. It feels more hollow than expected and just not enjoyable long term.
The second major issue is battery life. I’m not seeing “all-day battery” behavior at all, even with normal usage. Watching YouTube, browsing, or doing basic productivity tasks drains it faster than it should, and that defeats the whole purpose of this class of laptop. It’s the kind of battery drain where you start thinking: If it’s like this now, what will it look like in 6–12 months? At times it feels like I’m losing battery almost fast enough that I’m always checking the percentage instead of just using the device.
And lastly, the 2-in-1 design hasn’t been as practical as I thought. It’s constantly shifting modes if you adjust the hinge too far back, and that gets old quickly especially when using it casually on the couch or in bed.
It has some amazing strengths (especially the screen and touchpad), but if the typing and battery experience aren’t there, it’s hard to justify keeping it. At this point I’m leaning toward returning it unless something changes dramatically after more updates and optimization.

I rated this 3 stars or "average" because this HP Laptop seems to have a software glitch. It randomly changes the cursor size to a LARGE size. I check the settings and it shows its as small as it will go. I then have to drag it from small to large to small to get it to be a normal size. Then I must restart it. I think it might have to do with HPs software and touchscreen. Either way not happy and noticed it after the BestBuy return window. Sorta wish I went with a mac. But otherwise its functional and operates as expected for a laptop around $700 or so. I have a HP Omen Desktop that I have used for years and its been more than reliable so I was bummed to find this one has an annoying quirk. Other than that its a standard windows laptop. The build quality is very nice!
