I recently retired and was looking for a new laptop I could use at home for some consulting work. After looking at numerous options, I settled on the HP OmniBook X. I like it because of the 17 inch screen, the lighted keyboard, the 16GB of memory, the 1TB internal drive and the long lasting battery. The laptop has been great so far. I use it for web surfing, streaming, following the news, Microsoft Office (not included), banking and the Copilot feature. The processor is fast, the sound is great, the screen size is good and the battery lasts a long time. Other than being a little heavier than I'd expect, I have no complaints.

This is an incredible laptop. First thing is the vivid picture. The colors are beautiful! 17" is perfect for what I use it for. It has lighted keyboard and touchscreen. It has plenty memory and it was easy to adapt to from my 10 year old laptop. It's extremely fast and boots up quickly. What more could you ask for! Im so pleased with it and glad I purchased it.

I really am enjoying using this computer. I wanted a larger screen and went into the purchase knowing i was not planning on using this laptop for travel. The screen is actually larger than i anticipated. It starts up quickly, icons are easy to see, and i really like the large screen size. Colors are vibrant and programs load quickly. Battery life has been great and i used it for a full day on word processing/email type tasks before i had to recharge it. So far i haven't had any issues with software or hardware. It's a nice laptop and i recommend it.

I replaced a 17" HP Envy I adored for eight years. This 17" model is smaller, lighter, more powerful, faster, with a better screen and packed with more features. Windows Defender is more robust. The price on sale was less than my old laptop. A very worthy replacement. The only negative is the keyboard is more cramped. I will accommodate to this. Very pleased with this purchase.

Our computer was still a Windows 10 and was starting to have some issues running and storing things. I love this new computer and how large it is and the buttons as wells. The touch screen comes in handing so often which I never thought I'd use. The computer is lightweight even for me who has mobility issues. It runs super quick compared to my old computer and looks great in the silver.

Bought this computer to replace an HP Envy laptop that had Windows 10. Re-learning Windows 11 has been both challenging and intuitive. Still learning yet. My budget was set at $500, but a 14 and 15 inch screen size was not going to work for me. I am 75 and need to be able to read what is on the display. Overall, the performance of this laptop is great. There are some bells and whistles included with this laptop that I probably won’t use or need, but I like the display sharpness, keyboard feel, and computer speed. The size and weight and thin profile of this laptop has appeal also.

This is the best laptop I have owned to date. It is fast, and has ample storage, as well as a fast processor and touchscreen. The touch screen is 17 inches, which is a great size. Highly recommended.

What can I say this laptop has been great and I am not fond of laptops. It has worked fantastic, very reliable, quick and love that it is so quiet and it’s specs are just phenomenal and future proof. If you want to build a business, code even a bit of gaming this cpu is well equipped for heavy tasks. HP really did a great job with this one. The only cons I could say its the ram but for the price its great. If you are picky the only thing you might dislike its that the power adapter is NOT detachable from the main usb- c cable to charge your laptop. However this is an excellent laptop for college and any other creative works and the storage is great! Great job HP! Continue building quality don’t settle for less!

I have only had this laptop for about three weeks but so far I am very pleased with it. I particularly like the screen size and the processing power of this laptop. My only negative would be the weight of the laptop but that certainly not a deal breaker. Overall it is a very good laptop and I would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this laptop to replace a dying desktop model. The large touchscreen and great picture quality are very impressive. While I don't do editing or gaming, the speed and download capabilities are perfect for my needs. The processor is fast, and the unit is sleek. I'm on week three and still playing with new features. I plan to make this my PC and use it when I travel for work. The only downside- it is heavier than previous models, so not as easy to transport but other than that, I am very satisfied with the Omnibook X.

I love this computer! It’s been treating me really well. The screen size is well worth it for me and the family. The option for the touch screen has been super helpful . But I’m pretty simple so so I’m satisfied.

Love the 17.3" size. Don't love the keyboard, but maybe all laptops are like this? The keys seem too flat overall and somewhat slippery, and I can barely feel the space between them. I don't know if it's normal, but when I turn off the computer, I wait for the on/off light to go out, then I close the lid. When I next open the lid, the on/off light comes on automatically and the computer starts up on its own. Have no issues at all with the operation. It's plenty fast for my home use. The display is excellent on the factory setting, but I increased the display to 125%, so some instances are not quite as crisp. That said, I do recommend it for anyone wanting a 17" laptop.

While saying goodbye to our old computer and large tower, it is a much cleaner way to go with less wires and worries with a simple lap top. Adding a wireless keyboard and mouse helps with mobility with the flatter keyboard in a lap top, but everyone has their own preferences. So far we are pleased with the fit, the clean look and usage.

Wonderful computer! i7, so its fast! Plenty of monory for what i need to do and the storage, i wont be able to fill that in 5 years! Perfect for what i need it to do! Even playing games has been a pleasure!

Big screen makes it easy to use, especially for this senior citizen. Battery life is great, and the laptop speed is wonderful.

I was shopping for gift ideas over the recent holiday's and saw the great deal that was being offered on the HP OmniBook X Computer. I had an older laptop that was sadly dying more and more each day. So, I decided it was time to upgrade and treat myself. It was so easy and fast to get it up and running. I was able to get everything set up myself without even having to call the Geek Squad! It is an amazing laptop and I'm very happy with my gift! The service was exceptional (Mansfield, TX location).
