So far, so good. Purchased for college freshman daughter who is using it daily. She says it retains battery life, has great colors and utility. The only concern is that it seems to get hot and the fan is louder than expected. She's going to have her friends give their opinion and compare to their laptops but says it doesn't give any indication there's something wrong. Streams fast even on the school wifi

Great affordable laptop with incredible features and versatility! The 2-n-1 feature is a great enhancement along with the touchscreen. Great RAM and storage for the price and the video is just fine for anything but high end gaming; AMD makes a great chip! Keyboard is large for a laptop this size but the action is not as crisp as I'd like. Otherwise a great overall buy, very pleased!

Overall, seems like a nice laptop, and a pretty good deal when on sale. Has more memory than the usual 16 gig, a 1TB Pcie connected hard drive, a touchscreen display that looks really nice to me, and several folding options. What I don't like is the requirement to have a Microsoft account to log on - something you used to be able to get around, but I think they have figured out how to stop that. And then HP wants you to create an account to keep drivers and such up to date - something windows used to do, but not so much anymore I guess. Have not had it long, but it seems plenty fast, has an NPU that should help it to keep up with AI developments - at least for awhile, and fills all my needs for the time being. Only thing I did not see is a spot for a locking cable, but for me that was not a deal breaker. Can't comment on the battery life, as I have not pushed it to that extent. For less than a grand on sale, it seems like a 5 star machine, but I don't have enough time with it to say for sure, so I give it 4 stars.

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook X Flip for about a week and it’s awesome. It’s super fast, the touchscreen is super sharp, and it switches between laptop and tablet mode smoothly. The Copilot+ AI features are actually useful and saves time. Plenty of memory and storage and it handles multitasking like a champ. Battery lasts all day, it’s whisper-quiet, and the build feels premium. Only downside is no HDMI port, but USB-C gets the job done. All in all, a killer 2-in-1 that feels ahead of the curve.

This is a great laptop at $508. It has more than 16GB ram and is copilot+. In addition, it is a 2-in-1 that can have screen flipped. The display is bright and tall. The keys on the keyboard are big. Lastly, it is extremely easy to upgrade SSD, there are just 4 screws holding the bottom cover. I am enjoy this as an upgrade from my asus zenbook with intel core gen6 processor.

This laptop is great for mobile work. It is very powerful, yet power efficient. No need to carry around the power adapter. Good design and sturdy construction. Great for college students. It would be nice if it has USB-C connectors on both sides.

Amazing laptop! I am very please by the build of the exterior, has a metallic effect (no cheap plastic vibe). So far everything works great, I also installed M365 and it runs great. The battery lasts longer than any of my prior laptops (~ 9 hrs) -however, this is no where close to the 19 hrs advertised. It is compact enough to move around, the 2K display is awesome and touchscreen feels good. I do use monitors, so the small screen (14") is not a minus at all for me, it is easy to carry around and plug. Infact I love the compactness and it can easily fold up to work as a tablet. This is my first switch from Intel chip to AMD and honestly I have nothing to complain about. However, I am also not using any high intensity video graphic editing or gaming to test either of those chips to the core. As a regular user who works extensively with documents, powerpoints, chrome browsers, this works great with multiple windows open. This is my first HP (after being a longtime Lenovo customer, and a Dell before that), and first time AMD chip user.

The colors, sound and speed are good, and it holds a charge for a long time with consistent use. It runs a bit hot while charging but works well overall. Straight out of the box I got a message that it needed to "perform memory training". Hopefully it isn't a recurring issue.

The HP OMNIBOOK has been fantastic for my child’s schoolwork. It’s fast, reliable, and lightweight—perfect for homework, research, and online classes. The battery life easily lasts through a school day, and the keyboard is comfortable for typing assignments. It’s a great value and highly recommended for students.

Powerful, stylish, and sturdy laptop. I feel like that I work on a high end laptop but I payed much less to have this HP beast. I am running several software development tools, testing my scripts in the background on virtual machines and containers without any issues and when it is on the battery I am confident that I can bring my laptop with me when I go outside without carrying a charger and knowing I don’t need that for several hours.

The OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 is ideal for my daughter's school requirements. It is light and portable, and the specs are very much capable for her work needs. It's 2-in-1 feature is very helpful when she needs it to function as a tablet. Pricewise, given its specifications, it is quite reasonable compare to other comparable brands. Good Buy from Best Buy!

The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is a bit of a contradiction. On paper, it is a future-proof beast equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen™ AI 7 350 processor and a generous 24GB of RAM. In practice, it feels like HP took the DNA of the beloved Spectre x360 and made some questionable compromises to hit a specific price point. The Good: A Developer’s Dream Specs If you are buying this for coding, virtualization, or running local AI models, you won’t be disappointed. The Ryzen AI 7 + 24GB RAM Combo: This is the "Super Bowl" configuration of this laptop. Most ultrabooks force you to choose between 16GB or an expensive 32GB jump. The 24GB sweet spot, combined with the Ryzen 7's NPU (50 TOPS), makes it a powerhouse for local LLMs and heavy IDE workloads. The "Mac-like" Ecosystem: One of the most surprising wins is the mobile phone integration for android. The connectivity between your phone and the PC is seamless—it honestly feels like the Windows version of the Apple ecosystem. It’s fluid, intuitive, and actually useful for daily multitasking. The Display: The 2K touchscreen is great. While it might not have the "wow" factor of some higher-end OLEDs, the touch response is snappy and the clarity is more than enough for professional work. The Bad: Where the "Spectre" Magic Fades If you are coming from an HP Spectre, you will notice immediately where the "Flip" falls short. The Speakers (Absolute Trash): There is no sugarcoating it. For a "premium" 2-in-1, the speakers are on the underside and lacks depth. If you plan on watching movies or joining calls without headphones, prepare to be underwhelmed. It is a massive regression from the quad-speaker setups HP used to be known for. Build Quality & Keyboard: The build feels noticeably cheaper than the Spectre. It lacks that dense, "carved from a single block of metal" feel. The keyboard is serviceable, but it lacks the tactile "thunk" and premium travel of its predecessors. Battery Reality Check: HP markets this as a 15-hour machine. In real-world testing—especially with heavy coding or AI workloads—you’re looking at 8 to 10 hours. It’s still enough to get through a standard workday, but don't expect it to last through a long-haul flight without a charger.

I'm in my 70's, a retired IT guy, and this is by far the nicest laptop I've ever had. Unbelievably fast, beautiful screen, and more space than I'll ever use. First machine I've had for Win 11, and it makes it easy to transition.
