check out the HP OmniBook X Flip 16"
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Alright, check out the HP OmniBook X Flip 16"—it’s a seriously impressive piece of tech. The first thing you'll notice is that screen: it’s a big, gorgeous 16-inch 3K OLED touchscreen with a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate, so everything looks amazing and feels incredibly responsive. Under the hood, this thing is a total beast, packed with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 chip and a huge 32GB of RAM, meaning it can handle basically anything you throw at it without a sweat. The coolest part is its flexibility; that hinge swings all the way around, so you can flip it from a standard laptop into a giant tablet whenever you want. Plus, it’s ready for the future with the newest Wi-Fi 7 tech for blazing-fast internet. It's got a solid, premium feel thanks to its aluminum construction, and surprisingly, the battery just keeps going. It’s a versatile powerhouse that looks great and performs even better.

Nice but could use some improvements.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not going to say this is a terrible laptop, but there are definitely some shortcomings. The speed has been pretty decent, but I haven't exactly been impressed. I don't expect lightspeed, but I've rendered videos and PDF's on other machines with i7's and less memory in shorter time. Again, not terrible though. Keyboard. Where do I begin with the confusion here?!?! I'm 5'10" (not exactly basketball player height) and find the keyboard incredibly cramped. There is so much available real estate around the keyboard that I can't understand why it's not at least a little bigger. And I have no idea what the designers had in mind with this, but whoever put the power button in it's current position, where the DEL key would normally be on any keyboard, then the DEL to the left of it must have been focused on something else that I'm oblivious to. I can't tell you how many times I've accidently hit the power button and put it into sleep mode. The trackpad is roughly 50% of the keyboard's surface area. I think the trackpad could have been sacrificed a little to make more room for the keyboard. Expansion. I honestly didn't expect much here from a 2-in-1. 32gb memory and 2TB hard drive is plenty enough for a while, but having the option would still be nice. The only internal components that can be replaced is the SSD. Audio/Video: Audio is lackluster, but I didn't really care because I either use headphones or have it docked with external speakers. The camera can be somewhat frustrating. The lower the light settings the more difficult it is for the camera to recognize your face to login. If you're outside at night don't even try to use facial recognition. The glare can be pretty bad on this screen, especially outside. Battery: I was pleasantly surprised by the battery. With some tweaks I did manage to get about 12 hours with typical web browsing and work with documents (for class type work). The brightness, in NIT's, isn't exactly top notch and the high brightness levels with definitely suck your battery dry, so play around with the settings for the best level your eyes can live with. 2-in-1: I bought this strictly for that reason alone, otherwise I would've bought a better machine for the same money. The only downside is that it seems to be finicky in "tablet" mode. The issue is more the size really. Folded over and 16" screen is just very awkward and heavy and the keyboard seems to irritate me for some reason when folded over. I do love the tent style configuration though. The Microsoft pencil/stylus I had for my SurfaceBook 2 seems to work just fine, although I've had a few nuanced issues with palm touch trying to use it. Full disclosure, I have not bothered to tweak any settings for palm touch because I just don't use that functionality very often. Overall person opinion: If you are strictly looking for a 2-in-1 then this is pretty functional device for that use case. If you are considering this model based on the specs alone you might be disappointed and probably better off looking at a different form factor to get the most bang for your buck.

Solid 2 in 1 packed with a 3K OLED and AI goodness
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HP OmniBook X Flip Copilot+ PC is the kind of laptop that instantly makes me smile. Just lifting the lid and seeing that dazzling 16-inch 3K OLED screen (2880 x 1800) feels like opening a little window into another world—the colors are deep and crisp with inky blacks. The touchscreen has a smooth touch response great for drawing and tablet use. The Eclipse Gray chassis gives it a ready for business look. The case has low fingerprint pickup so it looks good even after extended use. The Xflip is a 2-in-1 laptop and tablet it can even be used in tent configuration for watching social media video or movies. Under the hood, the Intel Core Ultra 9 and a whopping 32GB of RAM make even the largest workloads feel like a breeze. Need to do a little video editing? No problem. Dozens of tabs open plus an epic playlist? Child’s play. And with 2TB of rocket-fast SSD storage, there’s almost room for every photo, project, and video you could dream up. What really steals the show here is the Copilot+ PC magic. The built-in AI features are great for video editing, search, videoconferencing with realtime translation, quietly waiting in the background to help. This makes it perfect for power users and creative minds alike. The total AI power for the Intel core 9 ultra 288v Lunar Lake platform is really up to 120 TOPS combining the AI capabilities of NPU: 48 TOPS,GPU (Intel Arc Graphics 140V): 67 TOPS and CPU: 5 TOPs. Which puts it at the very top of all current laptops for total AI power! Casual gaming at 1080p is good and I expect the Intel Arc drivers to improve. On the flip side, all this power doesn’t come light; if you expect featherweight portability, note this machine is a little on the hefty side. You'd probably not want to carry it one-handed for hours. And while it’s definitely a splurge, the build quality and features set a high bar. Just be ready to BYO stylus if you’re craving inking on that glorious OLED canvas. Overall, the HP OmniBook X Flip Copilot+ PC is built for those who want their tech to turn heads and tackle just about any task thrown at it. It’s not the slimmest in the 2-in-1 game, but for anyone who puts performance and eye-popping visuals at the top of their wish list, this machine is a great choice.

Love this laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just love this computer. I have owned two Spectres, and was really sad when they discontinued the line. The 16 inch Omnibook Flip is the renamed Spectre and I love it. This is the first time I have had a laptop with enough power to handle my work. Also, great service at Best Buy and when the price went down I was able to price match and get a partial refund. All in all a great experience.

Fast and powerful laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Had some issues with wifi dropping out but driver updates appear to have sloved that. I also suspect windows has bugs too. Does not run overly hot or with the fan running all the time. My last hp laptop with an intel 7i core had the fan running all the time just browsing the internet. I can also edit photos with ease and speed. Loads of AI functions that i am just starting to explore. Really like the touchscreen that allows you to use it as a tablet. Overall a great laptop and would recommend it. Only downside is it supports wifi 6e and not wifi 7.

16" 3K OLED i9 Ultra Beautiful Machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful screen 3K OLED display with very good brightness and high performance laptop. All good and would rate it a 5 stars if it has come with a 100W instead of 65W charger and not missing the Fingerprint sensor.

A workhorse that looks and feels great as well!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently needed a new laptop for a new business venture. I ordered one w 16gb of ram and it was not as powerful as I’d hoped it would be. I was able to give that laptop to my administrator and purchased this HP. It is everything I needed, runs smooth, fast and doesn’t seem to get bogged down. I also love the black finish and aesthetics. The screen is super bright and clear as well. Great laptop, great purchase! Very satisfied!

Everything I Hoped For
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything I hoped for! Was looking for a tablet and laptop all in one. Has great color and the stylus feels really nice on the screen. I’ve worked on IPads and I much prefer the feeling I’m getting working with this laptop. Quick speed with all my work applications and thought the price was decent.

Omnibook X Flip
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big difference from my HP chromebook. I use it daily for work and I love that this can keep up with me. Battery is good, the speed is amazing. I do not really see the use for AI yet as I just do not think it is practical for my personal use as of yet.

I am a little sad it does not have a fingerprint reader because the face reader is not that great. I haven't had it wrong but is it overall pretty awesome

Great features
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright screen and beautiful colors with the OLED. Fast processor, good amount of RAM and I personally enjoy the slightly larger than average keys on the keyboard. However, my experience has been that the battery life doesn't appear to be quite as good as stated. Just surfing the internet and even turning the screen brightness down to 50%, the battery went below 50% in just a few hours.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced an HP Spectre 2-in-1 3K Touchscreen EVO platform Core i7 16GB memory 512 GB laptop with this HP-OmniBook X Flip model.
