The HP OmniBook X Flip Copilot+ PC is the kind of laptop that instantly makes me smile. Just lifting the lid and seeing that dazzling 16-inch 3K OLED screen (2880 x 1800) feels like opening a little window into another world—the colors are deep and crisp with inky blacks. The touchscreen has a smooth touch response great for drawing and tablet use. The Eclipse Gray chassis gives it a ready for business look. The case has low fingerprint pickup so it looks good even after extended use.
The Xflip is a 2-in-1 laptop and tablet it can even be used in tent configuration for watching social media video or movies. Under the hood, the Intel Core Ultra 9 and a whopping 32GB of RAM make even the largest workloads feel like a breeze.
Need to do a little video editing? No problem. Dozens of tabs open plus an epic playlist? Child’s play. And with 2TB of rocket-fast SSD storage, there’s almost room for every photo, project, and video you could dream up.
What really steals the show here is the Copilot+ PC magic. The built-in AI features are great for video editing, search, videoconferencing with realtime translation, quietly waiting in the background to help. This makes it perfect for power users and creative minds alike. The total AI power for the Intel core 9 ultra 288v Lunar Lake platform is really up to 120 TOPS combining the AI capabilities of NPU: 48 TOPS,GPU (Intel Arc Graphics 140V): 67 TOPS and CPU: 5 TOPs. Which puts it at the very top of all current laptops for total AI power! Casual gaming at 1080p is good and I expect the Intel Arc drivers to improve.
On the flip side, all this power doesn’t come light; if you expect featherweight portability, note this machine is a little on the hefty side. You'd probably not want to carry it one-handed for hours.
And while it’s definitely a splurge, the build quality and features set a high bar. Just be ready to BYO stylus if you’re craving inking on that glorious OLED canvas.
Overall, the HP OmniBook X Flip Copilot+ PC is built for those who want their tech to turn heads and tackle just about any task thrown at it. It’s not the slimmest in the 2-in-1 game, but for anyone who puts performance and eye-popping visuals at the top of their wish list, this machine is a great choice.

This is solid performer with multiple tools to support performance evaluation and maintenance. Great visual delivery on screen, It accepts standalone mouse and keyboard, and supports up to three additional monitors. All of that and it is portable.

Laptop has been performing exceptionally well. The speed, display quality, and battery life are all impressive for the price range. Perfect for daily use, work, and entertainment. Definitely worth it!

FYI, I got this laptop Black Friday. Where do I begin?
Pors- The screen is pristine! This machine is fast! If feels sturdy, yet it's lighter than my previous 2 laptops. The built in graphics card can run 3 displays (including the laptop screen). While it can play most Steam games, you can't play some games at max settings... but i'm a casual gamer and for what I want to do, it's perfect (although i'll probably get an external GPU at some point.)
The cons- this thing keeps smudges like nobody's business!!! I'm so glad this came with a free external mouse. I'm now looking into a good portable keyboard.

I got a spectre back in 2019 and loved it but it was getting slow and buggy so it was time to replace it, and i decided to go with its successor. I love the 2-in-1 design even though i rarely use the tablet feature but it gives me piece of mind when my cat wants my attention and pulls on the screen that she's not going to break it. The new processor is as good as advertised, love the speed when browsing and it has made my gaming much more seamless, though it's not a gaming lap top it's more than up to the task for the semi basic games i enjoy (i.e. lol, mtg arena, blizzard games, age of kings definitive edition, etc.)

Amazing colors and quality on screen, quick and responsive with the powerful CPU , and with the 32gigs of ram. Its a powerful laptop for multi tasking.

Colors on the laptop are clear and vibrant. Speed is most excellent. Have tons of storage that I won't run out of for some time. Response time is very good.

Love this laptop! The 3K OLED screen is gorgeous and the performance is super fast. The Intel Ultra 9 + 32GB RAM handles everything I throw at it. Lightweight, smooth, and worth it.

This laptop has been great for me! I've had it for about 2 months with no problems. I got a great deal on a black Friday sale! I'm most impressed with the clarity of the images on the screen and also the battery life! It's only 4.15 lbs. which seems really light to me for such a large screen! Also, the 2-in-1 functionality is great compared to other 2-in-1 machines I've had. It transitions smoothly from laptop to tablet. I liked it so much I bought another one for a family member for Christmas!

The 16-inch display is absolutely stunning, offering vibrant colors and sharp details that make streaming 4K content a joy. Performance-wise, it is incredibly snappy and handles heavy multitasking with ease, thanks to the latest AI-integrated processor. It remains impressively quiet and cool even under pressure. If you are looking for a top-tier laptop that balances portability with a large, beautiful screen, this is definitely the one to get. Highly recommended!

I've only had it a few days but it's far and away the best laptop I've ever had. It's quick, pretty screen, lots of storage, decent integrated graphics, etc. Look at the other laptops with similar pricing - they have significantly less to offer than this one. I'm replacing a 2 year old laptop from a different well-known brand that cost the same price, and this new device is much better in every single category.
I don't mind the keyboard either. The keys are large but it's great to type on.
Only complaint: had to figure out how to update all the drivers before it would work correctly, took a couple hours.
Have to admit I haven't tested the battery yet though, so 4 stars.

This is a very nice laptop fast, nice screen and light easy to carry around. I like the bigger keys as I have large hands kind of miss the number pad but I dont use that often

I’m very happy with my OmniBook laptop. It delivers strong performance for multitasking, browsing, and office work. The screen quality is excellent, with good brightness and clarity. The laptop feels sturdy yet lightweight, and the keyboard and trackpad are comfortable to use for long hours. Battery backup meets expectations, and the system runs smoothly without lag. Overall, it’s a solid and dependable laptop worth the investment.

Excellent laptop, esp on sale. I use as a desktop replacement. Couple of issues can be easily resolved with some add-ons:
- screen glare: get a anti-glare screen protector ($10)
- wifi 6e instead of wifi 7: get an external usb-c adapter in future (eg, asus rog, currently $80 will come down) ... wifi 6e is good enough fow now
- touchpad issues: get external wireless mouse (best buy was giving one free, otherwise $10)
- HP pen not included: buy for $50 online (hardly use it)

It is indeed a powerful laptop with a beautiful display. I configured mine with 32GB memory, and 2TB SSD.
As others have noted, a great many updates will be needed. But, once that is behind you, you will have a very capable laptop with a 3K OLED touchscreen.
My only other gripe would be that you are stuck with Windows 11. Dual booting Linux etc., is out of the question. But, I knew that going in.

It's a great upgrade from my previous, 15 year old laptop, of course! I've always preferred the HP brand and this one does not disappoint. The memory and storage upgrade has vastly improved my productivity--no more "freezes" and slow-loading of files. The longer battery life is a real plus, also.
Learning the changes from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as been somewhat difficult. I'm a little disappointed with co-pilot because when I ask for help with new features or changes I want, it doesn't respond with information that is relevant to this laptop's features and the versions of the Microsoft apps that came with it. But eventually, it gets there and I am able to do what I am trying to do!
