I had a Dell Tower that was working fine for my purposes. However, I learned that it could not run Windows 11. Had some good experience with HP in the past. The time for computer start-up is greatly improved.

I love this unit and as soon as I can get the Geek squad to correct the job they did transferring my programs and documents from my old computer to my new one it will be good.....they put most of my old documents in code that I can't open

This HP doesn't come with the superior Windows 10 OS - instead it is installed with the jumbled Windows 11 OS; is that why it can't make up its mind whether it's in Sleep mode or in Hibernate? When it's wakened from Sleep mode it will claim to be unconnected to the internet - even though it is connected! - and then it must be restarted so it can convince itself that it definitely is connected ... restarts are continually needed - what a drag! And even though its settings are set properly to open with the previous session, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, or instead sometimes there's a Restore Pages button or sometimes not. And also, unlike our older hard-drive computer with Windows 10 that turns the power light off in hibernate mode, this digital-drive computer with Windows 11 always keeps the power light on and can never turn off unless it's completely shut down - thus the current must always stay on even in sleep/hibernate and the light stays on, wearing the machine out in less time so that it's destined to fail sooner so that it must be replaced sooner - so that ultimately the customer will be parted from his or her money sooner, to replace it with a new computer - again!.

My wife loves this computer. And so do I, it was easy to setup and use. It works well with my new printers, and other devices. Small footprint that fits well in my sewing room.

It had problems soon after the Best Buy return date expired. I had several calls with HP tech support. We thought the problems were fixed but they started up again. I had to ship it to HP. They put in several new parts including a CPU. some of it's problems were that it would sporadically freeze when booting up and wouldn't stay connected to wifi. When I buy a new computer I expect it to work this clearly was a lemon. I am not sure if I will buy an HP again. Of course any computer can be a lemon. HP support has been pretty good to deal with so far. Hopefully the problems are really fixed this time.

Great PC for my needs. Fast and easy to use at a good price. Would recommend for normal computer use. I am NOT a gamer so I cannot comment on that.

Love this computer easy to set up and use. It is taking sometime to get use to all that is available on this new computer
