I was hoping it would be faster right out of the box with the i5, but I guess I will upgrade the memory to get the speed I want... it seems to be a tiny bit slower (or barely as fast) than the AMD10 with 6G RAM.

seems like windows 10 just randomly decides to add updates. times where it seems disk is running high for no reason.

Very good and fast computer. The only problem I have had so far is that it only has 4 gig of RAM. If you looking to do a lot of design, print or even games on this computer then would suggest that you add RAM.

Picked this up for 369 and it's well worth it. Big giant super bright and clear screen. It's been a great machine for us. Email web surfing Amazon YouTube and even pic gaming. Can't go wrong with this puppy.

Great performance for a reasonably priced laptop. Larger screen and slimmer design make it nice for any task. Only wish it had lighted keyboard. Didn't come with office preloaded, so it's more$ out of pocket

This is one of the best computers for the price I have seen in a long time. It has every option you need as a home user and even more. If you are looking for a laptop, I would highly recommend this one.

They say you get what you pay for, this laptop is no different. It was in my budget and has Windows 10 preinstalled. It is not going to blow you away with its speed, but it does what I need it to do.

It is fast but had a lot of junk ware on it. That is typical. I downloaded so adware remover and it is fine.

I would highly recommend this laptop. I needed to get a laptop for my new job. Went into the store with my son who is very knowledgeable about computers and we took our time and compared many different laptops. This hp Pavilion laptop is definitely the best value for the money. Plus it is very compatible with the hp Envy my sister has.

I needed a laptop with a 10-key panel on the side and a large monitor. This laptop was an excellent buy for the discounted price.

I purchased this PC for my son and he is very happy with it. He is far more well versed that I am when it comes to electronics, so I was quite pleased when he told me that I'd made a good choice with HP.

I bought this a year ago and it still runs smoothly. Windows 10 works great. I use Office a lot too and this laptop is a great match for that and for students as we'll.

I don't know how I got lucky enough to stumble upon such a great deal. A 17" monitor with the i5 processor and a 1 TB hard drive? WOW....just amazing deal. The speed of this laptop is fast fast fast.

Notebook offers a wide variety of features. Fast processor with nice display and ample storage. Negative would be the integrated mouse pad functionality can be cumbersome.

A good low cost investment for my basic computer needs. Only issue is a very touchy, jumpy track pad.

I have had this laptop for maybe 2 months now. I haven't had any problems with it. I'm a basic user: websurfing, creating Excel and Word documents, watching DVDs (it has a DVD drive which is becoming rare!) and video streaming. It does all these things wonderfully. Sorry if I'm not any help for the serious techies.

This laptop was purchased as a Christmas present for a 6th grader who is very tech savvy for his age. He is thrilled with the computer and very excited to learn more detailed projects.

Eveything is wonderful on this computer for the price. Really cannot expect anything more. Slightly slugish when multitasking but that is to be expected from 4MB of Ram. Ram is can be upgraded.
