Excellent computer for non keyboard users.

I bought this computer for my son who is special needs. He's unable to use the keyboard at this time, so I thought the touch screen would be best for him and at the same time he would get used to using the touch screen so that he would be able to use a tablet as well. Overall this computer is exactly what I was looking for, no problems with it. Very easy to set up, nice size screen, no need to calibrate the touch screen and I would highly recommend it.

Inherently Defective Product - Dead by 9th Mo.

I made the mistake of buying this "easy to use touch screen computer" for my 90-year-old mother to replace a decade-old machine running Windows XP. This has been the defective computer and inept tech support nightmare from purgatory. For the past year, my Sunday visits to her house have morphed into "my computer stopped working again - please fix it" visits. Feb 2016 - the beginning of the nightmare. 1. Received first "Boot Device Not Found" message within 2 months of purchase. 2. Thought it was a transient issue -WRONG! PC continued to sporadically fail in no discernable pattern with "Boot Device Not Found" message requiring a hard-restart (keep your finger on the power button). 3. Contacted HP support 800-474-6836. Lost count of number of calls and how many hours on the phone with HP Support running (at their direction) standard diagnostics over and over, yielding no conclusions. They blamed it on the OS and told me "you should try reinstalling the OS". Since I never initially installed the OS, I was not venturing there. 4. After making no progress running the same diagnostics over and over, HP changed course and instructed me to disassemble the computer and re-seat disk drive (with HP support in India on the phone the whole time). 5. The re-seat did not solve the problem. The PC resumed failing within a day. 6. Performance degraded, requiring multiple restarts to get it back up and running. 7. Contacted HP and after more diagnostics (same ones over and over again) HP sent a replacement disk drive. PC was so unstable I could keep it running long enough to recover data from the drive. Disassembled the computer, installed the new HD. 8. Computer resumed same failure mode within 1 day. 9. Called HP again. More of the same diagnostics with the same ambiguous results (these folks are like the movie Groundhog Day). HP agreed to take computer back for repair. 10. Approximately 3 weeks later the computer came back, with a note stating that the problem was duplicated and repaired. 11. Foolishly, I was elated. 12. Set-up the computer turned it on, and within 2 weeks my 90-year old mother called again to tell me her computer died again. This time, it failed completely within 2 weeks. Totally inoperable. Can't get beyond the blue screen and diagnostic menu. 13. Another Sunday on the phone with HP support asking me to run diagnostics on a dead computer. I humored them and read the screen to them both times they had me run the diagnostics. When they asked me to run the same diagnostics a third time, I objected and asked for a Supervisor. Supervisors don't work on Sundays. 14. I called back Monday, provided my case number with all of the repeated call notes. As expected, the HP "Phone Answerer" asked me to run the diagnostics on the PC. This time, I objected, and asked for a Supervisor. 15. HP has again agreed to take the computer in for repair. I am now faced with another 2 -3 weeks without a PC and there is approximately 6 weeks left on the HP warranty. 16. This will have played-out well for HP. They suckered me into buying an inherently defective PC, then slow-rolled me and successfully jerked me around up to the end of the warranty period. A tragic ending to a twisted tale of deceit, indifference, incompetence and the the tarnishing of a name that was once held in high regard in the IT world.. The moral to the story is I will never buy (nor will I ever encourage a relative, friend, or total stranger to buy) another HP branded product. A Dell, Acer, Lenovo, or Apple yes. But no, never, ever, will I spend another dime on HP.

    All in One HP

I like the HP all in one, but was told it already was loaded with windows 10-it was not. After the upgrade the speakers didn't work and I had to call HP to get the driver installed. I wish the volume would go higher and don't see why it has 4 GB instead of 8 GB of memory-every comparable unit has the higher memory. The HD is great, touch feature is nice, but I miss the menu selections were available on edge as they are on explorer.

The trip started out to get a new laptop, but after seeing & 'playing' with this sleek all in one piece of equipment, I was sold! Just perfect out of the box! Easy set up - graphics, sound, apps, everything is top notch... Good Job HP! Wireless keyboard and mouse are a great idea - Very little space required for everything!!

    good system, some design flaws

Good system with virtually no setup required. .... the only drawback is the location of the USB and hdmi connections which are under the arm that holds the monitor in place. This makes it awkward to access....

Received this computer as a gift and I can not believe the quality of the graphics and the speed of the device. I am trying to get used to the touch screen but absolutely LOVE the wireless keyboard and mouse. The large screen allows me to work without glasses!! WOOHOO

I needed something for casual internet use and school work and this fit my budget perfectly. While the touchscreen is cool I forget it is there so I don't use it as often. Not really any troubleshooting problems although I have had issues with the sound not being detected but am able to resolve it.

The touchscreen feature is awesome! Processing speed is satisfactory. Converting over to windows 10 was easy. The wireless keyboard is relatively small compared to standard size Keyboard.

I really like the computer. I purchased it mainly for photo editing. It has turned out to be a great investment. The only issue I have is that it does not seem to accept my memory card easily. I usually have to hold it firmly to get the computer to read it. It is with all cards so I know it is the computer port.

I bought this PC for my parents and they love it. They love the hugeeeee screen and the touch screen. Is so small in compare with the old one... Keyboard and mouse are wireless. They have 3 USB on the back and 2 on the bottom of the screen. It came with Windows 8.1 but got the new update for windows 10 from the minute I turn it on.

My wife loves her new PC

Bought this for my wife and she is very happy with it, faster and more reliable then the PC it replaced. It came with Windows 8 so I updated to Windows 10 right away. The sound driver did not transfer to Windows 10 so it took some time chatting online to Microsoft to get it working again. She streams music all day long while working from home and it works great for that.

    Time to Update

The time came to update from Windows Vista to Windows 10, after searching for awhile Best Buy had the HP Pavillion "All in one touch". Somewhat different from Vista...was not to difficult to navigate with a DEMO and some instructions. Windows 10 is great and offers several options that Windows Vista didn't.

This product is an adequate computer for home use. I like that it has a dvd slot. Many laptops do not and this is not much larger than a laptop.
