Bought this computer to replace my old computer that I have had since 2006... yes 13 year old computer... it was still working great but the newer programs were running a bit sluggish on it since it was older technology. Anyway, I decided to buy this computer to replace that outer computer. Another reason I got this computer is to backup my iPhone since I have a ton of GB’s of pictures and videos... I noticed the 1TB HD and thought it was a great deal! NO!!! It has 1TB if memory on the D drive which is practically untouchable.... the C drive is where everything gets stored and saved, including the iPhone backup... well the OS and basic programs used to run windows take about 60GB of the 100GB... so you only have about 40GB... immediately the memory filled up with my iPhone and the backup failed. I tried a partition and it didn’t work, tried to create a link via command prompt to save the backup in a different drive but that didn’t work either... now I’m passed the 30 day return period and I’m stuck with this piece of crap computer... I contacted HP and they wanted to charge me $300 for some Tier 3 support or some crap like that... anyway, this worthless computer sits in the box in my garage and I’m still using my old 13 year old computer. DO NOT BUY THIS! I should have read other negative reviews on it and skipped it.

This is just my experience with this pc. It worked great for the first month. It then would not boot up. I built my last computer about 10 years ago so l felt l could fix this one. After a week I call hp support. The support person had me go though all the thing I already tried. It appeared to me that this system was not up to date. He said I needed to send it in for repair. Since it was under warranty it was no cost to me except for lost time. He thought they would need to reinstall Windows so I would have to start over. I feel the bigest mistake was not realizing that the the Best Buy return policy of 15 days is way to short for a computer system. In the future I will take this into account on what I buy there. I rated it 1 star based on my experience but it may work out ok for others.

I have bought three of this same model PCs and on two of them I have had a Thermal Event problem. It is not constant event, It's a random error. I don't really want to return this PC because from the specifications it looks and runs really fast. However, that thermal event is something to consider. By the way, one of them I had to return and get a new one because it never turned on. Seems like the power supply was dead even before the first use. I don't recommend anyone to buy this PC.

I am so disappointed with this product! I did a PowerPoint presentation and was unable to save it! Every time I try to save I’n Told I don’t have enough disc space! The actions also very slow and seem to take a long time to perform! I can’t download pictures without a problem! I was told at Best Buy this unit would take care of all my needs but it hasn’t reached anything of what I had expected!

1 WOULD ADVISE NO ONE TO PURCHASE THIS COMPUTER. After owning computer for less than 1 month drive is already not working. CD drive is very flimsy and if I turn it off, it takes forever to come back on.

This is the worst computer I've ever bought. Right out of the box nothing worked, and when I tried to get help from HP their customer service reps were dismissive and entirely unhelpful. STAY AWAY!!
