I usually stray towards apple products but this time around, I realized it was too expensive since i wanted something that I could upgrade and do video editing on. Therefore I did more research and found a deal on this PC for $530 and couldnt resist. I also upgraded the ram to 16gb right off the bat. First thing I noticed was the crisp 4k display on my 42” tv.
I’m happy it was able to run premiere pro and after effects smoothly. (Upgrading the ssd soon also) Regular web browsing also a cakewalk. I can run 2 windows full of tabs without any problems. I haven’t really ran into any issues other than it would freeze (rarely) and I would have to do a manual restart. Other than that, I love it and can’t wait to do further upgrades to it.

I bought the HP - Pavilion Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 5 series because the price was perfect! The solid state drive makes the desktop run faster and turns on completely in 20 seconds plus runs silently. I do like the amd ryzen 5 processor better than Intel Core because I can run 1080p at 60 frames without interruption on YouTube. The green light line down the front adds a neat design unlike any other. You can connect wireless to a smart tv which is very convenient. Plenty of storage for all users. Very portable and light weight. Glad I bought this product at best buy with the 5% back in rewards making my purchase well worth it.

Great starter gaming CPU. Able to upgrade parts and pieces as needed, but the guts of this for the money are great.

got for $620 on black friday It is a good pc, the looks are "ok". When you open it up its very ugly other then the GPU. The CPU cooler is a generic and i dont understand why they didn't use the AMD cooler!! The GPU playing fortnite on max out settings runs around 100fps and 80c!! Its good performance for my first gaming pc but i know my thing about them and cooling in this is very low. Very glad this came with a 128g sata for boot and my important games! The 8g ram for this price is acceptable but would like to see 16g.

This is a great gaming PC and everyday PC for the cost. It’s lightning fast and does everything I need it to do with almost no lag or delay. I use it as my media/ gaming PC. It plays 4K media beautifully on my 55” 4K TV. It can also run GTA V on max settings at pretty much 60fps. Not to mention how small and lightweight the unit itself is. Oh and this PC also shuts down/ starts up really fast! I’d buy this computer again in a heartbeat.

cellent price , good brand name,,, forcing people to write more characters on a review is not a good look for a super store.
My Review of "Excellent" should be enough, but it's never enough, this is the point where Best Buy goes of the road. This is why people will not be ordered like a communist to create a longer review which actually makes it more difficult and not a sincere, if you force them to write more . So what is trying to be accomplished here? Other then scaring people away from foolish reviews that are time consuming and tedious under your platform. People in charge of your company are GREAT at scaring customers away.
E-bay whom is far bigger then you only requires one word reviews. "EXCELLENT" Ya think they may no something that you don't? Online shopping portals have a better selection then Best Buy, cheaper pricing, and can use your store as a showroom, then buy the product on Amazon or E-Bay for a discounted price.
It's called Freedom to write the review that you want to write, being it one word or many like in this complaint. Within 10 years brick and mortar stores will be a thing of the past, as warehouse space is much cheaper then retail snazzy looking space. Just ask WAYFAIR. Oh, Im so happy that the minimum has been reached,
NUFF SAID..
Thank You,
Ed Williams

I bought this game for my 12 year old son. It is a great beginner PC at a great price. It runs most games at high settings and runs at great temps. My only complaint is the HP bloatware. I wiped the SSD and installed a fresh copy of windows. Much faster now.

Great mid range gaming desktop. I upgraded the memory to 16gb and it's running smooth as butter. There's a YouTube video on how to open this exact machine, just search for it. Only game I tested so far is League of Legends and it's running at 100+ fps on the highest settings.

I bought this after needing an upgrade to existing pc. I use my pc primarily for mid level gaming, nothing super intensive. Graphics card holds up perfectly, it’s zippy fast. I may upgrade the RAM to 16 just to help future proof it. Overall very satisfied.

Purchased back in December when it was on sale for $529.99. Opened it up and it was surprisingly small. At first I was intrigued, but the fact it’s all can only mean that there is very limited space inside - thus, the likelihood of being able to upgrade is slim. I peaked inside, and everything is packed in nicely. The PSU is very small, at only 400, which is highly disappointing. The graphics card is powerful though, so should issues occur, I’ll be willing to be it’s the PSU giving out.

I'm not a gamer by any means, but I wanted a faster computer. All my Windows computers are 6 to 7 years old, and my Mac Mini is currently 10 years old. The computers were slowing down, but still running all the updated systems. The HP is very responsive, and to open files is in an instant. My daughter noticed the speed immediately and she loves the computer (even though it's not a new Mac). I also was able to purchase this computer for $499, which made it even a better deal. My only complaint is that there is an issue with the on board sound card. Sometimes you have to restart the computer in order for the sound to come through the speakers. I've tried using the default setting which was the recommended fix. It's better than it was, but it still needs to be restarted on occasion. Overall, the computer has some nice speed.

Haven't put this computer to peak use yet as the promised games don't come out till sometime between January and June of 2019. However it is a fast boot with the SSD and does day to day activities well with no hardware or software issues. The dual hard drives are nice (SSD for OS, HD for data). The provided keyboard and mouse are very cheap and not ergonomic and will be replaced but they aren't the reason I bought the computer. I'm quite disappointed the AMD/HP promised games were not available upon purchase. Overall I'd recommend but with some caveats as noted above.

Although this was not the box I ordered, I am pleased with it overall. The unit first placed on order was from the open box, warehouse area that was guaranteed. Good thing, because it did not work when it came out of the box and had to be replaced, This unit cost me more than I had planned, but it seems to work fine. Bottom line, be careful purchasing someone else' problems - may not be as good a deal as it sounds initially.

I got this on sale and for the price it's perfect for my needs. I'm generally an Mac user but needed a PC Windows based machine to run some specific video editing and mixing apps. This thing runs for video outputs easily which is a huge bonus for me.
I take it on the road for video projection gigs and the smaller form factor is appreciated. It's pretty sturdy too if packed up well or transit.
I opted for the all AMD version of this as I've had driver issues with Nvidia cards in the past with my video mixing app, Resolume. I haven't had any problems with this machine. I know most gamers prefer Nvidia over AMd cards, but this one has proven to be powerful and reliable for my needs.
