Best budget gaming desktop you can you later upgrade de CPU, RAM, storage and GPU.

The only issue I had that could not be overcome was the fact that the Video Driver would handle two monitors but not if the HDMI cable was plugged in. Because I have two monitors plus a 65" Samsung to drive, this was a pain....BUT what a fantastic machine for the money....

Awesome computer. Boots up fast and runs great for anything.

I am no professional gamer or anything fancy like that, but my 11 year old son really wanted a gaming computer to play on. I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on a computer that he may not play after the first week, so we went this route. He hasn't had any complaints and has kept his interest for months now...so it must be good enough!

Very fast and great price for this gaming desktop!

Great desktop for the price. Games looks great. Not perfect like a few thousand dollars but 7 out of 10 which is really good and better than the basic computers that give a 1 or 2 with the built in graphics. I think this is the sweet spot of affordability and function.

I am very happy with the PC, it works well, runs fast, no issues other than the fact that I am using an adapter for my video output from Display Port to VGA monitor, and that has acted up a few times (flickering). Could be my adapter.

This is my first departure from and Intel machine and I must say the Ryzen 5 processor is very nice. The 580 GPU makes this just an awesome gaming computer but honestly everything looks better. The 128 SSD is smallish but the additional 1T HD is more than adequate. Gaming on a budget? This is the computer to get.

This is my second gaming computer of this model that I purchased. I bought one grandson the first one and have had great luck with it, so I decided to purchase another for the other grandson. I highly recommend this computer for those that are into gaming. A great purchase for the money.

Easy setup and AMD has updated the drivers on the Radeon 5 Video Card. Graphics are wonderful even if I am not a gamer. I run video through this machine of my house. It is a great machine and I am happy that BestBuy had this machine. I never say I would recommend any machine, but this is a fantastic HP.

it was on an amazing sales with $300 discount when I bought it. Fast speed, great for playing mid-end games that have a GPU requirement. I am still excited about this purchase after two months.

Needed to replace wife desktop asap. Found this deal at BestBuy. For the intended purpose, might even be overkill. Good CPU and good video cards, enough memory. It chugs along web surfing, photo editing and all social media activities my wife handles during a day without breaking a sweat. Good deal.

love gaming nice hp pavilion gaming desktop great price

I was struggling in between this desktop and MSI gaming laptop with GTX 1050 Ti. The reason why I got this, is the performance of the video card. RX580 4GB in this desktop seems not a full version because the original 4GB version has two cooling fans but it only has one. But it's still a good desktop because I could run most of the high-performance game such as PUBG. Other works including 3D modeling via 3Ds MAX works perfectly. One thing you should be careful is that it has relatively limited expansion features. You could add only one more RAM, one more HDD or SSD. If you abandon the CD-rom, you may be able to add two. At any rate, I think it's pretty nice deal.

Purchased for a VR setup, only thing it really needs is 16GB RAM, but at least the 8GB included is a single DIMM so you can add another 8GB. Surprisingly small form factor, quiet and performs well.

For the price of this thing, you get a pretty decent gaming machine. If you can, get it with more RAM though, 8 GB is just enough for most things. Would run much better with 16 or 32 GB (max it can use.) I plan to upgrade to 32 GB of RAM when I can and expect it to be even better.

It's not too small but not to big either, and the desktop itself is very powerful in the sense of playing high-end video games at either high or the highest video quality settings!! The only downside to this is that it does heat up fairly quickly over an hour to an hour and a half

I will update this after I get a chance to use the computer a little more but so far so good. I admit I am not a "gamer" and bought the setup just because I wanted a system that would handle multi tasking without a problem. The only reason I'm starting with 4 stars is because of a problem with the gaming codes that are advertised with the purchase. I realize that has nothing to do with the performance of the machine but it IS part of the purchase and it's NOT going smoothly at this point. No codes, and no idea when they will get more codes. So I'm not pleased with that aspect. As far as the machine goes, I'm in love!! It's awesome. Would recommend

This computer is great for the price, I currently use my HDTV as a monitor, but will be buying a new monitor to take full advantage of everything this computer can do. Overall I am pleased and will update my review later after I have used the machine for a few weeks.
