This is a really affordable, easy to use laptop that I bought for my mom. It's the same kind that kids use for middle school...if you have basic needs, then this is a great value.

I'm going back to school and wanted something with the portability of a tablet but better processing power and this fit the bill perfectly. I had been looking for an upgraded tablet but to get the touch screen/stylus features it was more expensive than this laptop which made it an even better value with the Windows OS instead of Android which does offer its limitations. For those not subjecting themselves to further education, it's also an ideal size for tabletop gaming. My character sheets, rule books, and notes are all conveniently stored so I have space at the table for important things like more dice and snacks.

This is a great reasonable price laptop. It is easy to use and response time is great. I like the flexibility to use it as a laptop, then fold it and use as a tablet. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is the hard drive storage is very limited. The assumption with the manufacturer is the user stores files online. So if you need to save large files on your hard drive, you may want to look at other options.

I purchased this laptop for my son who was starting his first year of college this fall. He didn't want a large laptop but he also did not want a tablet. This laptop was the perfect size for him. He loves all the features, especially the touch-screen and camera. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who looking for a good computer.

Obviously this is not a super high end laptop nor is it an Apple product but it is a really good laptop for what it’s worth. I bough this laptop for my daughter’s birthday and she loved it. It’s great for a kid that is starting to use this type of technology especially now with school being on line. It’s rich scream is also great and you could use it as a tablet as well. It has all the necessary elements for a great laptop and you can’t go wrong with its price, especially for a child.

This was a present for my wife who wanted a laptop but is not a power user. I expect most of the use will be email, Word and PPT. She doesn't anticipate needing a lot of storage space and speed is not her main concern so the 128 GB SSD and 4 GB RAM should work for a few years. She's mostly an iPad user so the touch screen was a plus. Keyboard does not appear cramped in spite of small footprint. HP's tend to be reliable so I'm confident she'll have this until it makes sense to upgrade in 3 - 5 years.

Computer is solid for your basic functions like browsing the web, streaming music/video, word processing. The screen is nice and I like the keyboard and it’s super portable and nice and thin. For the price you can’t beat it. Once you start trying to multitask with a lot of different programs and Virtual Desktops or gaming the 4GB of RAM is not enough for programs that take a lot of bandwidth. I think the computer would get more than 3 stars if it had more RAM and processor but for what the computer is made for and made to do it is a 5 star but for me personally it’s a 3/5 but I am also a power user so I need a computer that has more juice than this little guy. Great computer, HP Is an outstanding company and provides outstanding support and product. If you are thinking about buying this computer and you are a fairly basic user who wants to use it for music, stream your favorite shows and movies on Netflix, browser the web, and manage your photos and do some word processing and want a light weight portable computer this is a perfect computer for you.

Bought for my daughter in middle school. She can do her projects on there and keep track of her grades. She picked out this laptop because it would flip to a tablet but also it was smaller and touchscreen. Perfect for a simple home computer for a 12 yr old. She also was able to ask her school for access to word, excel, PowerPoint...etc. the school emailed her a code and she uploaded the program for free from the school...so don't buy it separately if you are able to just get it for free from your local school. She just asked the ladies in the office and they more then happily helped her!

I’m a college student so I need a laptop to be just as busy as me. When I unboxed it I didn’t realize how small it was but I love the size. Just takes a few days to get use to. On start up I had the computer downloading multiple things with many tabs open and it was running smoothly. I love the touch screen feature. The only thing I would change is the brightness. I wish the highest level was brighter. But other than that I love it !!! I’m glad I invested in it.

So far the pad has the speed and quality I was looking for. The price was a bit high, but for a small convertible laptop, the options are limited between the HP, Lenovo and Dell, only the HP with a decent name to me, all about the same price. This had 3 USB ports, one being the type C that the others did not. I wish it had an ethernet port, but most don't anymore. The screen was fine clarity to me compared to other reviewers. I agree the laptop is a bit heavy, but it is sturdy as a result and not bendable as many of the "light" ones are. I got out of S mode in seconds, all my programs including Office, Norton and other apps installed fine and without sluggishness that I might have thought with this slower processor. The Windows update took the longest to get sorted. Overall, happy with the purchase other than the price tag (you pay for the touchscreen and the 2 in 1 ability and only reason it gets 4 not 5 stars).

Purchased on sale prior to a planned trip to Asia. This unit is a replacement for my old and slow Acer Aspire which I use when traveling. Super great little travel mini-pc. Light weigh, fast (has a ssd), good color on touch screen, good battery life. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

For $499 smaller laptop, it seems to work fine with daily activities and the touch screen always a nice bonus. At this price point, no back-lit keyboard. Came with windows 10 S by default, which i had to change to regular Windows 10 since had some apps my daughter needed to use for school
