The laptop was too slow for an i3 processor and the price of dosen't worth the quality of the laptop

It started out like a great buy, but soon after I purchased the laptop it started to freeze and crash, never got to enjoy my investment and return process was a hassle since it was over $500

Wow...I bought this and returned it in less than 24 hours. It took at least 10 mins to boot up to start setup and crashed twice during the process. It's slower than my 5 year old laptop that it was meant to replace. A piece of garbage for sure! Returned and went with an iPad with a keyboard cover...way happier now, This computer wasn't even suitable just for word processing...why is it so slow?!

I was disappointed by the speed of the i3 processor. The newer generation didn't provide the improved speed that I anticipated. I found the screen was difficult to read due to the lower resolution 1366 x 768 after using a HD screen 1920 x 1080. It was surprisingly heavy and looked cheap with the black plastic everywhere. This would be fine for a starter computer. Guess I'll wait for a sale on a higher end model.

This laptop's CPU failed within the first week of intermittent use. Then had to take it to Best Buy/Geek Squad for repair which were lengthy and grueling experiences. Do not recommend.

This laptop looked and performed incredibly, but ran hot. After a short drop off my lap, it started giving me alerts that the CPU cooler wasn't working. HP support and updates might help, but shouldn't be necessary, given the very minor damage.

Good compact laptop for college. It has 8gb of memory, but needs a better processor such as an i5 instead of an i3. Would be of good value if a bit cheaper.

So the specs are nice but appropriate for price. The design is great though and Window 10 runs really well on it. I have purchased and add the full versions of Symantec Antivirus software and Microsoft Office and I have not noticed any significant resuction in processing speed. Good product for the price.
