The specs are impressive - 8gb and an 8th gen i3 processor with 500gb storage are a no brainier for this price point. The smaller screen size is perfect for my daughter as she enters college. Its very lightweight and easy to carry. We breezed through setup and uninstalled all the bloat, with ease. I'm impressed with the speed of this laptop, and was holding out for something with these specs and price point. Glad I waited as this is a brand new release from HP. The keyboard actually feels great - not cheap or clicky at all. Touchscreen is perfect and responsive and the fact it converts into a tablet is a big bonus. Only thing this doesn't have is a backlit keyboard, but that's just fine for her use. This is our 3rd Envy 360 in the family, and so far with each one we've been overly impressed and satisfied. Seriously impressed at the speed in which this thing moves along. Attributing this to the 8th Gen Intel coupled with 8gb of ram. Buy it! You'll love it.

My wife & I both bought a identical laptop and they have both been sufficient and just what we needed! We knew exactly what we needed when we bought these laptops after doing some research. Meanwhile, the Best Buy salesman tried downplaying the processor level, he believed we needed to spend $4-$500 all together to get a “good” laptop. After explaining to the salesman all we would be using the laptops for would be the basics...Emails, photos, Microsoft, internet surfing he still persisted. We went with what we researched and bought two of these laptops and have been very pleased! My advice, do your research and know how much laptop you need. If you are needing a laptop for the basics like us, this is the one to buy!

I bought this HP because I was attending TGPS class for transitioning from the Navy and it a helluva lot less expensive than the equivalent Microsoft surface, and don't even think about apple products. This is not a gaming computer to be sure, but if you are in need of something to send and receive emails, watch movies, look for jobs, write resumes, and general computing you cannot go wrong with this one. Add on the fact that it has touch screen controls that are as responsive as a tablet and that it can fold and just be a tablet is a major plus, combine that with it does not take up a lot of real estate on a desk makes this a great idea for any students that you are shopping for. Both of these features at this price point is amazing.

Open and close is awesomely fast for a core i3. Charging only take s less than 2 hrs amazingly fast. Thank you for the 8 GB RAM is much needed from the older models. I have an 11.6" 4gb ram model N3710 CHIPSET it was good for awhile but now that I use 11.6" as backup and I am thinking of getting a second one for personal and/or business use while the model I have now the 14inch 8gb ram is video streaming. LOW ON BUDGET I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AS A STARTER COMPUTER DEFINITELY you can always add a flash drive, a 4 port hub, sd cards with mini card slots for extra memory storage for on the go portability for you music videos movies, photos etc

I've always used HP computers and laptops and when I broke my last one, I knew I had to get another HP. The silver is so stunning and the layout itself is gorgeous! This 2-in-1 is light, accessible, and versatile all the way around! Set-up was incredibly easy and fast. Although I don't use 2-in-1s much, this one is definitely great for the price. I feel like you get a lot for the price of this laptop. Also, the touchscreen is a plus. My previous HP was a touchscreen and there is no way I'd ever go back to a traditional laptop after these. Overall, definitely a laptop to spend your money on! :)

I really enjoy this machine but I knew off the bat the hard drive was going to drive me bonkers. I opted to buy an SSD out of the gate and boy was it worth it. Prior to switching to that drive, it felt sluggish starting the machine as well as booting. Once I upgraded to the SSD it was a night and day difference. I would also note, since I've swapped drives on several generations of HP Pavilion x360s this was the easiest as bottom panel came off easier and screw locations were more straightforward.

I am a weekly newscaster and commentator for WZBC 90.3 FM. From time to time, I am in a situation where I need a light, good working laptop that can fit within the confines of my "go to" bag. This is a durable unit with plenty of memory for what I do. I have used it in the studio during production and it came in handy when s friends presentation was in a bind because of a crash on her laptop. The HP had no problem filling in for her, (another brand), laptop. For it's size and weight, it is a powerful tool for what I do.

I've had the HP Pavillion for 1 month and it hasn't disappointed me. It can do all the basics with a pretty fast speed. I haven't tried the camera or the videogame aspect of it, but the quality for viewing videos and pictures is great too. Battery life is good/okay. I have to charge the laptop about every 8 hours which I find decent for a laptop. The weight is light, sleek, and a perfect size for me. 5/5 overall

Bought this for my daughter to finally replace an old Macbook she’d been using. She really does enjoy the features it has to offer! We had a slight problem when the sound unexpectedly had stopped working but after having GeekSquad fix the problem, they had told us there was a glitch in a new Windows update that affected many of their devices. Other than that, no complaints so far! Very efficient and comfortably light to carry with you on flights, trips, etc.

I really do not know much about electronics and my dinasour laptop died on me so I had to buy one. I needed a laptop to serve its purpose. I’m oretty sure it has more than what I’m describing but the web works just fine and it’s fast and maybe because I haven’t loaded it up with stuff. I do like the fact that it turns into a tablet! The only downfall is no CD slot or maybe I haven’t found it lol other than that it’s good and price is fair.

Im a Mac person, my wife wanted something small and I didnt want to spend $1000+ on a mac cause she doesnt use it but to watch streaming video. Ive used it a few times and for the price, and the size, its a pretty solid little PC. It doesnt have that cheap plastic feel to it, and it boots up fairly quick for a PC too. For the money its a good PC.

I bought this for my girlfriend to use as she was going back to school! loved that it was a 2 in one and that it had an intel processor with 8gb of ram for this price. the only thing I wasn't super jazzed about what the hard drive wished it can with a solid state but at that price I can't complain.Bought a 500gb Samsung drive on a steal and installed and this things flys for a sub $400 laptop!

I love my computer. It's runs smoothly and I've had no issues. Sometimes the screen is too sensitive and slightly titling it will move it into tablet mode when I don't want it to, but that's not a real complaint. The battery, however, is an actual problem. It needs a lot of charging and the charger gets hot.

This is a super great laptop for someone who is looking for something easy to carry and something that isn’t super intense. It’s got great sound quality from the B&O speakers, so watching movies and such is really nice. It’s easy to work on and it also folds into a tablet if you need it. Haven’t had any problems with it.

Was looking for a general purpose family laptop around $500 with reasonable speed and not too heavy. I had a HP convertible before and it was super heavy with poor battery life so was a little cautious but this one is 10 times better. Less than 4 pounds, decent battery life and seems pretty quick even running games. Only thing I don't like is the lack of backlit keyboard.

Originally, I was not considering a 2 for 1 laptop or an HP. However, this laptop had ALL my requirements PLUS is a 2 for 1 for just a little more than the cheapest models I was considering. No performance issues or slowness. Great to have 2 for 1 when I need it and I found a great stylus that works with this laptop on Amazon.

I am now learning, slowly, how to use the HP x360 Pavilion and do get lost sometimes. No manual, no instructions, nothing, it's just sit down and "wing it". It was suggested that I Google what I need to know, but how do I know what it is that I need to know? I'm new at this, but assume many of the tasks are the same as on my PC. Slow going, but I'll get there!!

We got this for our daughter who has Down Syndrome. A touch screen was a must and with it folding over to become a tablet is another plus. She is able to turn it on and plug it in along with using her headphones. It is a very simple computer, but for a special needs child or as a child's first computer, it is a good one to consider.
