I would rate it good, not excellent. Now using it for ~3 years, sound broken but otherwise no issues.

This laptop we still have and has been perfect!!! Continues to meet my needs...

Purchased right before Black Friday 2019, nice laptop, I like that it’s not bulky. No speed issues or memory issues thus far. No issues with finger print reader. Only con I have is that the battery does not last long and the keyboard doesn’t light up.

This up pavilion has been the best laptop I’ve ever owned

Really good for schoolwork and some light gaming. The only problems are that it heats up really fast when doing really light gaming turning the loud fans on which can be quite annoying. The battery is also pretty bad as it will barely last a day doing regular work. The touchscreen is also pretty good compared to other laptops. Overall if you don't mind being near a charger during use this is a pretty good laptop

We are normally Apple products people but this computer exceeds our expectations. We purchased two of these for our homeschooled kids. Very fast and reliable.

This laptop is great, super easy to use. That being said, the specs listed on best buy clearly state that it is ethernet and wifi compatible, but there is no ethernet port on this laptop. If you look at the questions for this laptop you will see others have asked where this port is and HP support has commented that best buys listing is incorrect. That was over a month ago and best buy has not changed their listing. So just be aware if you wish to connect your laptop via hardwire you will need a (not included) adapter such as a USB adapter.

I think this is one of the worse computers I have purchased. Purchased in 2020. The screen is like flimsy. It’s heavy. It gets really hot even with proper ability to ventilate. Now the touch pad doesn’t work for some reason. The space bar is also troublesome. The computer is also very slow for some reason.

I purchased this laptop after having great success from a previous HP laptop that is over 10 years old. I thought this would be a great way to update my laptop with a touch screen. I noticed right off the bat that the battery life was poor. I should have returned it, but I tried the recommendations by HP. I then tried everything I knew to try and extend the battery life. I have had the laptop 10 months now and the battery life is worse than when I first purchased it. I only use this laptop for my online school work and occasional web searches and if my phone is charging. Every time I turn the computer on I use Battery Saver mode and keep the screen as dim as I possibly can. I never use the keyboard backlight and keep a darker desktop wallpaper (if that even helps, I'm not sure). When writing papers or using it for school, I can only get a few hours of work in before I have to plug it in. This is absolutely ridiculous with the cost of this laptop. My work laptop is a dell and a touch screen and I can usually get two days worth of about 7-8 hours of use each day. I should have purchased a dell!! I expected so much more from an HP that costs almost $1K including taxes. Horrible battery HP!! I do not recommend.

Got this computer OPEN BOX. It was a steal!!! First laptop ive owned that had a keyboard that lights up.

This laptop works quite well but ive had a couple run ins with it. For starters the battery life is not great. I essentially couldn’t take my computer outside the house without a charger because of how fast the battery would deplete. Just the other day my computer died and would not turn back on. It’s now been sent to the manufacturer because the cause of the problem could not be found and will be out of my hands for 4-5 weeks. the computer is only 8 months old and as a college student this is extremely inconvenient as it takes away a huge chunk of my semester, especially in the virtual setting that we are in due to Covid. I did enjoy this laptop quite a bit when it worked. It was fast and reliable but battery life has seemingly ruined it for me.
