The perfect upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My ten year old laptop finally gave out (3 days before online class). This touch-screen was an excellent choice. It's lightweight and sleek, easy to setup, and a great price. The memory was more than enough for my use. Only problem I encountered was it would not detect my wi-fi, even after troubleshooting. Will have to contact Geek Squad. Hoping it's only a minor issue that can be resolved quickly.

Great Laptop for College
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Last month in June I bought this laptop for my son whose last computer slowly gave out! I looked at the reviews and the price...great deal! He loves that this one is faster and is a touch screen. He hasn’t said too much about the tablet, but he does like the option. He’s just happy that he can complete his papers without his laptop slowing down. So glad I purchased this one instead of the MacBook!

Worse computer ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a fan of HP forever. But not anymore this computer started having problems 6 months after I bought it. I took it for service they fix the over heating but the mouse stoped working soon after that. Super bad experience with my favorite brand.

I would recommend!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took one star off because when the fan does come on it is loud and it gets really hot for a couple of minutes, then stops. Camera and microphone could be a little better too. But other than that, the laptop is nice looking and has all the specs that my daughter who’s in high school needs for virtual learning. We love that it has a backlit keyboard. It was on sale plus the student discount. Overall, I would recommend.

Happy with my purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer that meets my expectations. I only use it for standard Microsoft Office and internet tasks. Because of my "laptop needs", I switched from the more expensive but definitely comparable Samsung Galaxy Book Flex Alpha 2-in-1. The processor is slightly slower but nothing too noticeable or to make me regret my decision! I love the touch screen and the tablet mode.

Great price, good compact laptop for basic use.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good looking, compact, great price laptop, would give this a 5 stars if it don't heat up so fast and the battery don't last to long/ 5 hours with surfing web and YouTube. Don't expect to play AAA games on this or 4k video editing! PS. It doesn't come with a stylus pen.

Laptop review
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the HP laptop, back when I was a college student and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. From the moment I started using it, I’ve experienced nothing but pure satisfaction. This laptop has truly exceeded all my expectations, and I am thrilled to share my glowing review.

HP Pavilion x360 l Great Laptop/Tablet Combo
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good laptop with plenty of memory for game playing, office applications and web surfing. The touchscreen option of a hinged keyboard that can flip all of the way behind the display make it a nice tablet equivalent with more features. No need to overpay for laptops that barely meet these specifications. No regrets on this purchase.

3rd time's the charm?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have now purchased 3 of these laptops for my daughter's grad gift. The first one lasted just under 24 hours, and then the keyboard locked up. HP's troubleshooting tips online didn't fix the problem. So we exchanged that laptop for a 2nd of this same model. That one didn't last 15 minutes - it overheated while no programs were running! My daughter had just powered it on and installed the internet security. When she plugged in the power/charger cord, the screen went black and didn't come back until she unplugged the cord. Then she saw the letter characters on the screen were looking weird. When we checked the internal temp of the laptop, it had spiked to beyond normal and safe levels. So we also returned that laptop. We're now on #3 - which we purchased from a different Best Buy store, thinking maybe a different store would have items from a different manufacturing batch. Honestly, the only reason I went with the same model for the 3rd time is that now it's on sale! Otherwise, I'd have bought another brand. She's had it for 24 hours now (although she's only run it for 4) and no problems ... we're reservedly hopeful, but yes, I did purchase Geek Squad (on all 3!). She loves the laptop. We were told by several computer savvy friends that this should work great for her as she heads to college this fall. I'd give it more than 3 stars, but with 2 bad units and not much time experienced on this 3rd one, past experience just isn't helping the rating.

Treat for Grandma
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Grandma loves this laptop. She had never had a touch option and with the large clear display she is able to navigate much better than with her old one. It's fast which supports her gaming habit, and is a very small footprint on her desk considering the power.

Sleek, smart and fast laptop, very affordable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did some comparison shopping before visiting a Best Buy store and had narrowed my choices narrowed down to the HP Pavilion and a Microsoft Surface laptop. If I showed up at the store and fell in love with the Surface my mind would be made up. Instead, I fell in love with the HP Pavilion. The laptop is sleek with a nice lumnious gold finish, a large screen, and illuminated keyboard. The screen folds back to convert to a tablet, a feature I use all the time when reading the news online. The HP Pavilion feels like a million bucks but the price is a fraction of the cost compared to the Surface or any comparable Apple product. At home, the laptop is fast to start up and gets great internet speeds, seamlessly connects to all my devices, and has a great wide angle camera which I use for teaching yoga classes on zoom. I would recommend this laptop to anyone, as your computer at home or on the go.

Highly Satisfied
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, back in February I sent my laptop out to Geek Squad cause it was under warranty and needed to be repaired and it arrived at their HQ on February 12th and then on March 19th I find out that I have to go to my local store and get a new lap top that they are going to fully refund me the money for the one I bought originally. I then go to my local best buy and talked to a store rep and he said well your going to have to come up with at least another $60-$100 cause there is no computer for the price of your refund for what you need a computer for and what your looking for in one as well so, I then said that is no problem and he showed me the one I ended up picking and I have to say this was a HUGE UPGRADE and I'm not disappointed at all and the only difference is I went from a 17"-14" but my new computer has a finger print scanner, it's touch screen, and it has 360 degree hinges so I fold into a tablet or set it up more freely then a standard laptop but the performance is way better..... FYI!!! I went from a ASUS Vivobook 17" to this one and I'm Highly Satisfied with the laptop

Good light duty basic laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to find a laptop to replace a Dell that died after suffering years of problems (never buying Dell again). Needed a simple laptop for light use: remote in to work, Word, Excel, email, etc to supplement my tablet. Not using this for gaming or streaming. I would have preferred more storage/speed but I didn't want to pay for it. So far, so good with this machine. Set up was fast and easy. Experienced one hiccup trying to restart to install new updates; machine stayed in restart mode overnight. Hoping this was a one-off glitch due to multiple updates needing to take place. It's small and light enough to easily transport and I like the fingerprint sensor. The backlit keyboard and touchscreen are nice bonuses. I like this for the limited use I have planned but I wouldn't recommend it as a primary or heavy duty laptop. I don't plan to store a lot of files or load up a lot of software. If you need a lot out of a laptop, get something with more GB.

Good Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The laptop seems to be functioning well so far. My only complaint would be the battery life. The battery life is not as long as I would have expected. I got this at a discounted price so I got a good deal in my opinion. However I think $700 is a tad bit steep. I'm very impressed with the fingerprint recognition. Makes it super easy to log in.

HP laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I am not exactly good at setting up new devices of any kind but I have to say it was fairly easy to set up . There were prompts helping guide me step by step. I like the size of the touch screen and being able to fold and stand the lap top up for easier viewing if I choose. Overall I am very happy with my purchase

Good value, very portable.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice, light, very portable computer, works also as a large tablet. Two downsides: The battery life isn't what I had hoped for, which was unrealistic, I think. I would also like to upgrade to 16 GB RAM, and have been unable to find compatible RAM anywhere so far.

Makes my life so much easier! The touch screen is
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this to prepare my messages to share. The fact that i could so easily navigate between Windows and utilize the touch screen feature makes my work faster! I also could work in low light because of light of the keyboard. I love how its sleek and compact but in no way takes away from its performance.
