It was easy to setup and loading the ink bottles was simple. I was disappointed the there was no separate paper tray for photo paper like my older HP and it didn't have a straight fax option. I don't use the fax very often but nice to have when needed. Overall a nice printer but look over all the specifications to see if it meets your needs.

Bought this to replace a 5 year old Smart Tank model. The color print quality has significantly improved with this model. Has features to improve print speed from the factor set. Must use the app to take advantage of all features. Best part is still the huge ink $ savings.

Perfect printer if you want to save on ink costs. We've had it for 3 months now and have had no issues. Set up does require some "assembly" of the printer, but they provide the steps. I've also printed 1 photo so far on glossy photo paper and it came out beautifully. This smart tank does print slower than an officejet or laserjet, but it is worth it for saving on ink costs. We got it on sale for $309.

Wish I’d purchased this printer a while ago. It’s quite fast and very quiet. It was easy to install and start printing right away. I love a printer with pourable ink as it seems to be more efficient than an ink cartridge. When I print lengthy documents, it’s nice to have the option of double-side printing without having to flip the pages myself. If given the opportunity, I would have one on each floor.

Great quality printer, but the Wi-Fi connection is spotty even though it is in the same room with the router. Have to unplug and plug back in to reset it every time you turn it on to print.

Excellent so far! My only issue has been after unplugging it I've had to go through the app to reconnect it to the network. Other than that this thing is a beast! Best printer I've ever owned.

I upgraded from a very old HP laser printer and am just amazed at the difference in the two. The print quality, the ease of use, and the cost have all been excellent. Just hope it lasts as long as the one it replaced!

Great printer for the price. Like the feature to print from my iphone. The only issue is opening and closing the top is not smooth. There appears to be a misalignment or poor design, That is the only reason I rated quality a 4. Perfect for a home office

Easily connects to wifi from all printing devices and works great. Speed and quality is perfect for my needs. However, the only flaw is that the port to plug in the power source cord fits loose and easily unplugs the entire printer when moving it even slightly.

I didn't realize this was for posting. I almost deleted my review. Then, I realized these may be helpful recommendations for planning the next iterations of the printer series, so I submitted the review anyway. I put I would not recommend it—for now, but I have had the printer less than a month. I have at least four areas for improvement. (1) It's a little slower printing and definitely scanning than the Brother printer and less expensive HP printer I had previously. I'm not sure if it's the printer or how long it takes for the computer to send the job to the printer. (2) It goes offline occasionally without notice. (3) The paper drawer sticks a little when trying to pull it out and add paper. (4) It's a little difficult to plug in the power cord because the connection portal is a little deep within the back side of the printer.

This printer works flawlessly on my Wi-Fi network and gives great print quality. I struggled a little with the setup, but once setup it prints fine from my PCs and Android phones and also on iPhone brought into my house.
