Definitely a great printer to have at home! Have never had any issues with it. Bough a year ago, used weekly and still haven’t had the need to buy new ink.

Was using an old HP that took the HP63 ink cartridges. I was buying both the black and colored constantly. Of course, it's expensive. Now I have an HP Smart Tank Plus and using 1/3 the amount of ink. It was easy to hook up to my computer, performs perfectly, and saves money. I'm sorry I waited so long.

The reason I didn't say great on this printer is because for all the bells and whistle it does have I'm kind of disappointed it doesn't print documents faster. Overall though it does print good colored pages. I love that it comes with all the ink! Also that when you fill the tanks you can do so without a mess very mess free! Connecting to different devices is fairly easy too. I'm happy with my purchase! I would definitely recommend it to a friend or family member! I bought one because a family member had one lol!

Printer is easy to set up—including the mobile app and online for my computer. Prints come out clean. I like the fact that I don’t have to worry about ink cartridges running dry since I only print sporadically.

I love this printer. So easy to set up. I like that I can also print from my phone and also from my laptop. I also have it hard wired to my may computer. I've had it for about 4 months. I have hardly used any ink. I love it.

Excellent printer and easy to install. The only drawback are no double sided copying from auto feed and no paper tray.

works really well. i like the liquid bottles a lot better than cartridges and they last alot longer also. Better than cartrides as far as quality also.

When it prints does a pretty good job. For some reason will get “printer is busy” error when I go to print something. There’s no other task waiting. So not sure what’s taking up it’s time. I have had to shut off and power back on to get it to print. Not sure if this is just the norm for this printer. Thought it did duplex printing and scanning but must have read that somewhere else because it doesn’t. That’s a lot of fun to scan a document with multiple pages twice to get front and back. At least it came with a “years worth of ink”. We will see. Doubt I’ll have it that long.

I love the large amounts of ink that it stores and the ease to load papers in the back with no trays to have to mess with!

Easy to install and use via hardline or WiFi. Does not have paper tray- did not check prior to purchase. Easy fill tanks are nice. Unit prints quietly.

Carriage fails to move from bay for print head installation after ~1 year • Paper feed mechanism breaks after ~2 years • Print heads develop air in lines, causing poor print quality • Clogged ink lines are difficult to clean • Ink system failures lead to streaky or faded prints • Frequent paper jams • Slow printing speeds • Connectivity issues with Wi-Fi or USB • Ink cartridge recognition errors • Scanner malfunctions or stops working • Firmware update failures • Noisy operation during printing

Easy to set up by using enclosed guide. Print and scan quality are good. Much quieter than our older HP printer. We have wireless connections to 2 laptops and an iPad and all seem to be working well. Paper enters printer from the back so it may limit placement. Would have preferred a paper tray but no issues. Our first tank printer so hope ink costs will be less overall than using cartridges.

Easy set up, easy to use clear. It’s very quite, love the liquid ink rather than the old cartridges.

Minimal instructions and difficult to setup. Once I got it working, it is easy to use and prints, copies and scans great

I haven’t fully tested this yet, but it’s a pretty solid home printer. Pros: -Slightly cheaper than the epson equivalent. -Ink reservoirs is a big plus, not only for the wallet but also the environment. -Wirelessly print from your computer or mobile device using the app. -Nice design that isn’t an eye sore and doesn’t take up too much space. -Scans/copies/faxes. -Good quality prints for a home printer. Cons: -It’s not the fastest printer, especially when printing at the highest quality. -I had to do the ol’ power cycle trick to get the wireless network set up. It could find the network but would not connect, and it was a bit frustrating until I unplugged in/plugged it back in. So if this happens to you, try that because it worked. -Doesn’t have the ability to do automatic double-sided printing like the epson equivalent does. So you have to manually flip the page(s). Not a huge deal for me, but worth noting. -Slightly more expensive than some of the other home printer options available. All in all, I like it so far. Can’t speak to the longevity of it yet, but if it lasts longer than my old home printer, I’d say it’s a win. I’ll try to update with more good or bad info as time goes by.

I am very pleased with the printer. It was very easy to set up and the printing is very high quality. I was concerned with the possible mess of using the containers for filling the ink cartridges, but the system is easy to do and there was no mess at all.

Easy to set up and get running. Printer and scanner work well with only a few problems in learning how it works. A printer is a printer pretty much. Not much to rave about. It does the job.

I am a teacher and wanted something that printed color and black and white at home. But i also wanted something that was not going to cost a fortune for ink, that wouldnt run out of ink after a few pages of printing and that could perform at a average speed and not take forever to print. Well I absolutely found everything I was looking for and more with this printer! It is the absolutely dream printer for my purposes. Ink last a very long time and when ive had to refill ink i was able to buy the ink for next to mothing prices. The printer itself was a great price and i tell friends and colleagues all the time about how happy i am with this printer and recommend it to other often!

The HP Smart Plus Printer makes very clear, sharp and where asked wonderful color copies. The printer is quiet and works quickly and efficiently.
