HP really put together a great laptop. I was thinking about waiting for the 15" version, but I am really happy I went with the 13.3". Laptop is smaller, and that really helps with portability, but doesn't sacrifice its screen size due to its small bezels. Only criticizm I can offer is sometimes the bottom of the laptop can get a little warm. I notice this when I'm pushing a lot of activity. The laptop has no problem keeping up with heavy demand.

This laptop is lightweight and powerful. It allows me to get my college coursework done comfortably while also giving me the option to play PC games as well. Unfortunately I have already lost the HP pen.... I wish HP would do something about having a place to the store the pen with the laptop itself. That would be the only inconvenient feature to this otherwise awesome little laptop.

I'm on my 3rd HP Spectre and can't say enough good about them. I use it for business so all the office tools you can name, but also do light design work using various CAD. Its a wonder to travel with because it so thin and light. And, this is the very first tablet that comes with a useful stylist! My one and only complaint is that it only has 1 USB 2.0 port... Otherwise, this machine rocks, and is gorgeous with the black and gold theme.

Oh my god I love this laptop! I e never had one this nice and honestly it’s worth the price. The fastest speeds the 4K is AMAZING. It’s better quality than my TV and that is saying a lot! I love the touch screen, it’s easy to fold I love the ability to bring this everywhere! It’s a perfect size for on the go. Comes with a great pen to use on Spector as well as a cool case! Would definitely recommend!

I use the 15" Spectre and needed one for my spouse. It is excellent as well, love the speed, the size, and ease of use. Now specs: I always pay attention to having a strong processor and Intel i7 delivers, having 1 TB SSD + 32GB Optane was a bonus in the storage department, plus the 16GB memory meant that it would give as much as my 15" does. So a strong purchase for the value.

I would give this 5 starts if I were rating the HD machine rather than the 4k machine. You pay several hundred dollars just for that upgrade, and while it is the best screen I have ever seen on a laptop, it costs dearly in battery life. So if you plan to be away from power for a large part of the day, you really need to stay away from the 4k. The regular HD version of this machine (which I finally chose) still has an excellent screen that drains only 1 watt/hour. I can get 10 hours of battery life in normal work without trying. No tweaks, 100% screen brightness, etc. Playing downloaded video (as one would on a plane, if planes were still flying) gets 12+ hours. Form factor is very good (though not as good as the Microsoft SP, to which I was comparing this machine in my trial period), but the battery life of 10 hours without trying, up to more then 12 when on a plane with no wifi, versus the Surface Pro that really gets only 4-6 hours (no matter what Microsoft tells you) made this a no brainer. If you will be near power every few hours and want the 4k, go ahead. Otherwise, if you really want a light, powerful, reliable machine that will easily last all day (or all the way coast-to-coast or to Europe), get the HD version.

This is the best computer I ever had in a long time. I purchased it and have been working on it for long periods of time and I haven't experienced any problem with it. The keyboard is very comfortable for my hands, and the size and weight of the laptop are perfect. It's easily portable. I travel a lot for my work and studies, so this is the best investment I could make in my education.

Nice design and keyboard has also good touch. Only minor point is slow start, it dose not start up quickly like iPad. After push start up button, you will not see anything, you have to watch black screen until HP's logo comes out. Need some patient until start up. If you do not know this time lag, you have no idea it will start up or not.

It’s my third hp spectre laptop. These units are as beautiful as they are functional. Amazingly lightweight, the screen feels bigger than the 13” laptop that it is. I’m replacing a 15” spectre that was a little too big for traveling. The 13” with Oled screen is just as practical but is 2 pounds lighter and easier to use in tight spaces. Love this convertible.

This processor of this laptop is great! I have been able to run all of the computing software I need without any issues. There is higher resolution in this model. The only downside is that the updated camera is worse than the previous model. It doesn't make a difference for me since I only use my camera for meetings.

I love everything about this laptop. The specs are top of the line and I personally think it's the best looking laptop out there. I have it running multiple programs in multiple windows on two monitors and haven't even seen it start to slow down. Some people might not like the lack of ports but I think this laptop is built for max power and portability. I really love this machine.

I purchased this laptop to use for photo editing as well as a general workhorse. It has performed flawlessly, the screen is bright and vibrant, and the performance is top notch. The battery life is not incredible but with a 4k display it is about average. I did make a couple tweaks to the power plan to control heat and fans that definitely make the machine quieter and cooler.

Tried both Dell XPS and HP Spectre. HP Spectre was my pick for the value proposition it provided for the price - Best Buy has it for 1499 - i7-16GB-1TB. This machine got power and speed which is much needed for me. Great portable laptop for all your needs - Also works good as tablet. Highly recommend.
