this is an amazing laptop, it is fast, portable and the screen is very nice. It has a very narrow bezel which makes it stand out. The tablet mode is also useful, but I use it mostly as a laptop.

We've used this laptop now for about 6 weeks. It is lightening fast. It is also nice and small. The CNC machined aluminum case is way cool. The Thunderbolt port is a WOW! Case you don't know the Thunderbolt port supports sound and video. Get a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable and you can plug this computer into any TV. It also has one extra USB-C port. The battery life is fantastic AND it charges up quickly. Finally: if you are a bit of a novice to setting up an new computer fear not this machine. On first boot up an HP video automatically pops up and guides you thru the immediate process of signing into your router (and beyond). This video is brilliantly designed to guide you and it hangs with you till you are done and happy. I've been using computers since 1985. I know a superb Windows 10 laptop when I see one and this HP Spectre x360 13.3 inch unit is super!!!

5 Star on Performance - 4 Star on sound and USB

I feel I found the best combination of size, weight, features and price for my computer purchase. Really enjoy the boot speed with the SSD. And the display is fantastic! My only two quibbles are: 1. The B&O sound system. I thought I might be able to leave my Bose Bluetooth speaker at home when traveling, but the B&O's are not quite up to task. Tried the various settings, but nothing seems to really change. The sound is OK, just not up to what I expected from B&O. 2. Access to the USB port requires you to push down on a small "door" which covers about 25% of the USB port. I realize this may be to protect the port, but trying to insert a USB devise while the computer is laying flat on a table or other surface is next to impossible. You have to lift the laptop off the table to be able to insert the USB device.

I went in to buy a much cheaper, larger computer but was told that it came with a lesser version of Windows. I'm growing to hate Microsoft between things like this, their policies, and some of their software being so hard to get along with. So I bought this. I LOVE the size and weight, though I do wish it were a little bigger. The keyboard is great though I hit wrong buttons due to it being so much smaller. The fingerprint scanner as a lock is a bad one and doesn't work much of the time. The one big disappointment is only one USB port. I have several backup drives and thumb drives and only one port makes it difficult to copy things with this machine.

I used to exclusively be a mac user, but I became disillusioned with how quickly they seemed to slow down after a year, not to mention how expensive they are. I decided to try something new and different and the HP Spectre X360 2-in-1 meet my needs and exceeded my expectations. This laptop has a brilliant display, is lightening fast for multitasking, looks sleek and smart, and is really to fun to use in tablet mode. I will say it takes a bit getting used to the table as you are basically touching computer keys with your hands, it is a sensation I still need to get used to. Beyond that it is an impressive laptop with an appealing price. I'm happy with it.

Fast and responsive. Very elegant design. Comes with a pen and a leather sleeve. Battery life is about 7 hours. Can get a little warm . For some reason it took me a while to get used to the keyboard. All in all very good purchase.

I really wanted to like this, especially at a discounted open box price. The screen and small footprint of the laptop is exceptional. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough reason for me to keep it. The laptop runs hot and the fan was constantly kicking on even when I was just surfing the web. I'm also not fond of having the home, end, page up / down on the right of the keyboard. I'd often hit them by accident. It looks like this laptop is eol, so hopefully the new gen is better.

Light, slim, “slick” design. Touchpad is very sensitive though, and no left/right buttons are present. Took a while to learn nuances of this touchpad.

I was looking a a light laptop that had some power. I really like the convertible format and this delivers. Great touchscreen and pen included. I am using it for work paired up with a TB3 dock and 4K monitor and it works great. So far I am very pleased with the purchase.

Stuck between this and the Microsoft Surface Pro 7. Love the SP 7 form factor but battery life is just terrible. Attracted to HP Spectre x360 because of promise of long battery life and attractive edge-to-edge screen. BUT - when watching on full screen, had several instances of the screen going dark and not being able to revive it without a reboot. Kind of the opposite of the purpose of getting the beautiful edge-to-edge screen. Battery life and machine in general for work purposes was outstanding. Swapped it for a second one but that had the same issue. Swapped and upgraded for the OLED version, which has the best screen I have ever seen on a laptop. Brought it in for a price match when HP lowered the price but Best Buy would not honor the price match so I returned it and purchased direct from HP. BTW -- OLED has no better battery life than the SP 7, but for the same price the HP x360 OLED has much more to offer. As I write this, HP has dropped the price on the standard HD machine from $1299 to $799. Even with the inability to watch full screen that is an unbeatable deal so I would recommend it as long as the price is $799.
