I spent more money hoping for higher quality but I'm very disappointed. I'm a data scientist so I need a computer that is can work hard. The computer isn't as fast as I'd hoped. It has had overheating issues from Day 1 and I haven't even tried putting it through the paces of heavy data analysis yet. Everyone I know who has this model has the same issue with the rubber feet peeling off. It looks tacky and makes it clear there are heating issues. Now less than 4 months after I bought it, HP is requiring I send it to them for repair if I want a resolution. Eek. I regret buying this machine. I feel like I might as well have spent a few hundred more for a Macbook.

The laptop's processor performs great. Great feeling and design. The problem that lead me to return this computer was that the monitor or video card was defective. The screen was blinking for no reason. Not sure if the problem was with just that PC, but didn't want to risk it because sending the PC to the manufacture is a hassle and buying extra warranty is extremely expensive. I decided to buy a MacBook Pro instead, because you can take it to any Apple store for any problems and you can install Windows in it. So you can have the best of both Worlds in one device.
