Probably the most attractive laptop in existence. The screen just pops out. I opted for this one over a better-spec’d Dell because the 4k OLED was just too good. It made all others on the laptop demo area just look lackluster.
Yes, I’d much rather get a better performing laptop, but I already have a super powerful desktop for all my other needs. This will just be something to remote into my home PC and netflix while traveling. Due to this, the OLED wins out. You just have to see this laptop in person.
It’s insanely light, the keys are quite nice to type on, and has two USB-C ports.
It’s just convenient, and powerful enough for my needs.

I’ve purchased several of these laptops for a small business and they’re my favorite windows machines. The configuration is exactly what we need, and the laptops are gorgeous. The screen quality is amazing and the switch into tablet mode is flawless. Add a port replicator and you. An connect to dial monitors and a host of other accessories for a complete & powerful workstation.

This is a great laptop - it's my 2nd Spectre. My first lasted over 6years with two replacement batteries. I like the convertibility, the size, and the features. My only negative is the limited number of ports. But I solved this problem with a $30 Tofu with gives me 9 various ports. Between this and my phone, I need nothing else. I was so glad HP is still making these.

This review is after 8 months of usage.
Pros:
Sleek and stylish
Performant
Good battery
Cons:
Takes slightly longer to boot (my older ASUS boots faster than this one. The hp logo appears after a few seconds)
Build quality is ok. I hear slight creaks around the left side while I'm typing.
Another thing can be a pro or con depending on how you adjust to it - the function keys. They just flipped it. My work laptop is a Dell and I always tend to hit the function keys directly on the HP...Lol
Overall, pretty decent laptop. I bought it for my wife and so far she's had no complains. It's me who had high expectations for this laptop.

I am enjoying this computer. It is small and portable. The weight is just right so I can move around as needed. The screen is beautiful and the webcam is better than any I have seen especially for standard equipment. One weird thing is the speakers are on the bottom of the laptop. Sound quality is still excellent. This was a great open box buy.

This little laptop has been amazing. It's small enough to fit in my bag and carry all day, yet powerful and fast enough to handle all of my computing needs. There is no standard USB port for an external mouse so pick up a USB C adapter to add a mouse. Display is perfect and the screen is just the right size. Love this purchase for sure!

My son loves this for his college classes. He looked at a lot of models, and is glad he went with this HP.
He especially likes the flip screen feature so he can use it like a tablet or a laptop. The speed is fast even though the wifi in his dorm isn't great. The battery life is awesome, too.

The computer is very compact with many good features. The only complaint that I have is that it needs more USB ports. At least one on each side of the computer. The lack of the USB ports gave it four star rating.

nice, compact lightweight laptop. easy to travel with. could use more USB ports since I'm really not a gamer and don't use it for video or streaming. It's really for business use. Overall, it's a great laptop.

So far so good. I have had this laptop about a month and I am happy with it. It is lightweight and easy to see the keyboard for these old eyes. The battery life seems fine to me and I have not had any problems with it. That is pretty much what I want from a laptop.

Great laptop!
I was a die-hard HP customer in the 90's until a bad experience with customer service early 2000's left a bad taste in my mouth and had me venturing to out to Dell, Sony and other custom builders. After 15+ years or so, EVO brought my curiosity back to this Spectre.
I was surprised that this model came with minimal bloatware, cool screen (for the price, uncomparable in the market right now), and a sturdy body.
One thing lacking, and I am finding that it is a size/class thing, is that there is no Kensington slot. So it's ultraportable but can't be locked down at the airport, which is why I bought its ultra portability... baffles me.
I hope this laptop continues to be trouble-free, but for now, it's been a great value.

I love my new computer! Its lightweight and sleak, and easy to use. I haven't had any issues with it and did buy one that had been returned. Great for taking with me to the local coffee shop or traveling. It was everything I was looking for!
