Great laptop, fast boot, deals with everyday tasks with ease and will work through every other memory intensive application I’ve thrown at is so far. Great improvement on battery life and heat dissipation and a lot more quiet than previous models

Great laptop, wish it was oled but thats a minor detail, good storage and has many ports including for memory cards and air vent on the side so it wont overheat when on a flat surface. I would have liked it a bit smaller but then it wouldnt have all the ports.

Several issues. Pen works when it wants to. Fingerprint reader never works. Battery life abysmal. Have only used a handful of times and speakers sound blow or excessive distortion and never even passed 50% volume.

I've come to expect great things from HP architecture and the Spectre did not disappoint. The 11th gen intel processor is great. Fingerprint ID actually works. And they corrected the loud, whiny fan from the Envy model. Bit of a premium price but worth it.

My wife is very pleased with this laptop. It is a little overkill for what she does, but it’s making her happy since it is not freezing up like her previous underpowered low end laptop. It’s a great overall laptop, but just a little “blingy” on the design.

so far an amazing laptop. it runs video games well, and its really good to use for school. i hear a weird high pitch ringing when the laptop is turning on, but that might be the coil whine. ill look into it more. but so far it was a good purchase

Great computer and I’m very satisfied with my purchase. It had many unexpected things I was unaware of until I explored it and am happy I bought it. You might want something more specific but I’ll leave the exploring to you because it’s worth it.

I absolutely love this thing so far. It’s got gorgeous exterior design. The smart pen is an awesome design and responsive. The only issue is the Touch Screen sometimes quits working. It’ll require you to disable the Touch Screen and restart the computer.

I haven't been in the market for a laptop in a while. I consulted with one of our IT Tech at the job prior to making my choice. I am enjoying my recent purchase. It is everything I thought it would be and more. Love the sleek new design.

I love everything about this laptop except for the mouse pad. I will have to purchase a mouse to be more accurate and quick. The screen quality is amazing! I think the sound is ok...I wish it was louder. Other than that I am pretty happy with my purchase.

Great laptop with high configuration. Very classy looking laptop as the outer layer is beautiful. Very fast and easy to use. Only buy it if you have to use powerful software as the laptop is expensive. Overall Great product from HP.

A sleek and well crafted laptop. Looking forward to the speed, RAM, and SSD as compared to my rather old laptop. My only complaint - wi-fi only (no ethernet port), but that is the way most laptops now.

Honestly, I probably would have taken this back and gotten something else had I not had an entire semester of headache with a different laptop in and out of repairs. I'd hoped the high price would be an indicator that it would be a good and robust laptop AND 2-in-1, oops. The hinge. It's super weak, and if you move the laptop without the screen being almost 90 degrees or closed then it slams closed or falls into tent mode. I can see it being super easy to hit a wall/ knock something over/ damage your screen if you're not careful. Not to mention flinging your pen across the room if you've got it stuck on the back. There are online reviews that point this out. The pen. Within 2 months of having it, it just decided it didn't want to charge. I still had it under warranty so it wasn't that big of a problem but I mostly kept that one in its sleeve on the case and barely used it. It's also a poor writing experience. After getting the replacement pen I started using it to take notes. No matter how many times I calibrate it the input is always slightly off. Writing with it is even worse bc it's ALWAYS slightly wiggly and there times where the pen input randomly skips so you end up with gaps in whatever you were writing/drawing. The speaker. Not great, but I'm used to a Lenovo 2-in-1 where the hinge IS the speaker and they're pretty powerful. I guess just get a speaker, or wear headphones. The processer. Superfast, I'm an engineering student but not a gamer so I don't *really* know how far you can push it. I run some pretty heavy programs and it hasn't failed me yet. The fan isn't too much of a problem either, it does what it's supposed to.

Came defective when I first got it but continued to use it because I was in the middle of finals. Went to get an exchange today and had a bit of a hassle, but worked out in the end. Other than that, it’s a really nice laptop and great upgrade from a 2015 Mac

The computer is very quiet and lightweight also fast and easy to use, I can easily hold it and handles. I also like the way the picture looks. Resolution is better than expected. My older hp was having problems so glad I got this new laptop.

Not good for graphics intensive programs

I purchased this after my Dell died, I haven't been a HP fan for years but thought that maybe this would be a better experience. I have to give HP kudos for their packaging, the laptop was encased in a beautiful box that made it feel like opening a present at Christmas time. The laptop itself is very attractive and feels solid. That's where the good experience seems to end though. I had issues with some basic programs right from the start. HD movies would freeze, games wouldn't work and the updates didn't seem to want to install. So I decided it must have been a lemon and exchanged it for the same model. This time this updates worked somewhat better and some of the programs functioned. HD movies still had issues but would run. I attempted to play World of Warcraft on it but immediately had issues with the opening cinematic. Playing was frustrating due to the glitches with the graphics- fonts would scramble and the game seemed to lag when there were no internet connection issues and others in my home could play easily. I checked for updates and discovered that there was an optional update for the graphics card and hoped that would help. Nope, and if it won't run smoothly the first week I had it, imagine what would be happening a few months into the experience. I expect better from a laptop that costs about $1500. So, I returned it and chose a Dell instead.

superior product. A little more "bells and whistles" that I needed right now but will be nice to have in the future. The tablet feature is nice when I'm not working and don't need a keyboard constantly. Overall, a great value for the price.

High performance machine. The 10-key number pad on the right of the keyboard takes a lot of getting used to. I cracked the screen within a week of having it, and the cost to replace it was more than I paid for the laptop in the first place.
