WiFi issues, update issues from the get go. Then once I fixed everything laptop just heats up so much. It’s like a hair dryer is running under it when literally no tasks are running. Ended uo exchanging it with EB-1043dx which has 11 Gen processor and 4.7 ghz quad core versus 2.7 ghz 6 core from this laptop. So far not heat issue with 1043dx. Thx

Buggy graphics right out of the box even during setup. lots of lines across the screen at times and screen tearing while watching video. Colors are off and shift during web searches and tears strange colors across the screen when viewing Excel documents. Strange for such a premium product. Updating graphics has not fixed the issue yet. Maybe try one with a dedicated graphics card? Note there is no wired internet port either.. Would not buy again that's for sure.

Two months in. Keeps Freezing up and have to do a hard shut down (hold power button until it shuts off) and restart loosing any work that wasn't caught by auto save features in my programs. Only reason it's not one star is I do like the 4k and tablet features. But would not recommend any HP products.

It was complicated getting the unit but once I got the unit very satisfied

There’s a single dead pixel in the monitor but I didn’t notice it until after the return policy, also it’s only been a month and I got a battery notification about it being bad? Can’t get the notification to come back up

Was a great laptop for 4 months. Screen issues seem to be common with these units. Mine has been waiting on warranty parts for 2 weeks now with no updates on when I will get them. Unit is only operating with an external monitor and is waiting at the geek squad for repair.

I ordered two open box Excellent laptops, Both laptops are damaged, both have speakers that skip, both have my video appearing in black and white when ever I'm on video calls, and both do not play media videos correctly.

The computer is actually fine. The geek squad is another matter all together. I brought my 2019 HP computer in for help - black screen. They told me they could get information off the hard disk and put on a new computer and then send off my old computer to be fixed - its my work computer. They called the next day to tell me that there was nothing on my hard drive. Gone. Picked up my old and NEW computer and set out to see if I could retrieve anything from the Cloud. On a whim - I plugged in my old computer. What do you know? It came on. With all my info in tact. Now I have my old and NEW COMPUTER THAT I DIDN'T EVEN NEED. BOO.

The product itself is a quality product, but the Camera application is not very good. I bought one Open Box, then bought another brand new. The same problem with the Camera. I was so disappointed because I liked the equipment.

Fine computer when it works but broke 13 months after purchase, conveniently right after the warranty expires. The intel Optane based SSD died... now a $1500 computer costs an additional $250 a year later. Now I have to use my 13 year old Mac.. which still works and never had an issues with. Also HPs customer support is nonexistent unless you pay $99 you can't even speak with someone just a useless virtual agent and the message boards.. If I could do it over again I would not buy this and would never recommend anyone to purchase this.

Gotten defective versions of this twice in a row now, and from different Best Buy stores at that! The first time was a messed up key that wouldn't press, and the second time it was both a key that wouldn't always work and a glitchy screen whenever I'm watching some videos full screen. I really want to like this laptop, the screen is beautiful, the sound is decent when the volume isn't too high, and I really enjoy the fingerprint scanner. I won't be able to give a better rating however until I get a version that works the way it should. The first exchange was smooth so kudos to Best Buy there, hoping third times the charm here...

I purchased this laptop with the open box program. Upon setting up the computer I ran into an issue. The screen went completely black and I could not do a hard reboot, or access the computer. I returned it for a new computer thinking that it was an issue with the computer because it was slightly used. I ran into the same issue when I purchased the new spectre. I set it up and it went straight to black. I could not reboot, or even sign in so that someone could resolve the issue. I believe it is a hardware problem with the laptops that need to resolved.

Nice computer in many ways, but the built-in camera is the worse I've ever seen. Blurry, poor color. For $1700 I expect at least an average camera, not something this bad.

Good looking computer which initially worked extremely well. Roughly two weeks after receiving the computer it stopped working. We spoke to a local repair shop who told us it sounds like the motherboard. They told us that this was the fourth HP Spectre x360 they have seen with similar problems. We returned the Laptop during 30 day return period. I would not reccomend this product.

Returned the laptop, the hinge was too loose and normal "laptop" use was not possible, every time I adjusted my feet or moved a little, the screen starts flattening, and after a certain point it just continues to flatten and goes beyond 180 degrees. Googled it and there appears to be similar reports going back into 2015/2016, surprised such an issue exists for a laptop at this cost.

After 6 month display went back. I had to use HDMI connection to get my work done. Cannot get it repair while I was oversea.

Can’t run games on 64-bit. Gets dirty way too quick from regular handling. Rose gold (not copper) and black color scheme. Limited color options.

My second HP that had GPU issues. With these specs and all the updated drivers you don`t expect glitches, choppy and freezing videos. I thought that maybe we just got a bad apple but when we took it back to Best Buy, the display model had choppy intro video also. Best Buy`s customer service was very good!

Laptop crashed at 15 months after purchase- dead battery and short on board!! No display- no boot! Worthless warranty- ridiculously overpriced “protection plan” that wasn’t worth the paper it was written on!! HP should be embarrassed putting out a product like this!! Buyer beware!!! Do your research on this laptop!!!!
