Incredible value for money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a new laptop and was very interested in the Surface Laptop 3. I couldn't reconcile the price for the color I wanted for the features and specs offered. This Spectre x360 was on sale for $50 more and was a complete no brainer. Twice as much ram, faster CPU, dedicated GPU, twice the storage, bigger & higher resolution screen. Enough said. Build quality on the laptop I received is great. The B&O sound is great. 4K IPS screen is bright and lovely to look at. Runs cool and quiet. Have seen up to 1.2 GBps on the wifi connection. Zero complaints. The added pen and carrying sleeve are worthy of a mention too. The pen costs extra on the Surface. Battery life has been great. Anywhere between 8 and 10 hours doing work with 50-60% brightness. The keyboard is one of my favorites I've had so far on a laptop. Good backlighting. Good travel. Backlight turns off after about 30 seconds which makes for a nicer viewing experience in the dark. The trackpad is a precision trackpad that I've had no issues with. Some have complained about the size but I've not had any issues with the size of this trackpad. I personally don't like the giant trackpads on the Dells and MacBooks. The numpad is a bonus to me and a major selling point. Spreadsheets, calculations, or anything requiring you to type more than 2 or 3 numbers at a time is much more efficient. I would recommend it over the higher spec'd model as they tend to run much hotter and have the fan going a lot more. Both models otherwise have identical cooling solutions.

Newest version has surpass all expections!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Please ignore the first two reviews as they do not have the the actual 2020 Spectre x360 15.6 inch. Now, the pros and cons: Pro: Keyboard- rigid than previous models. What I mean by that, the feeling of each key press has a little more resistance and does not feel as bouncy. The almost display is near borderless. The top and bottom chin is much less apparent and very modern. No issue with the touch input. Trackpad- Near identical from last model. No issues. I primarily used this for work at home when I'm not traveling. My Surface Pro 7 is used for travel. However, I definitely used this for gaming. I have no issue gaming using the ThunderBolt 3 connections. Cons: As mention with the keyboard, it took me a couple of days to get used to the different feeling from three previous models that I have owned Connection- There is ONLY one thunderbolt 3 connection, the other USB-C is not. Not a big factor as the charging speed seems relatively the same. The hinge is ALOT stiffer than before. You cannot open this laptop with one hand like previous models. Overall, I very please with this laptop compared to the 2019 HP spectre 15.6 4k. I had many issues with the previous model that I was thankful I was in the return window and this was release around the same day.

Solid
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery: fantastic battery life I’ve had it last 4 days and it can last a whole day even if you’re using google chrome. Power: for the price point it’s pretty mediocre in the power department. Ease of use: small durable and 2in1. HDMI port. Windows. This laptop/tablet will make you feel like a beast. Audio: built in microphone/cam and speakers will make your zoom meetings feel more professional Heat: I have pushed it and it does not overheat but it gets REALLY REALLY hot on your lap to the point where you need a surface between the laptop and your thighs. Overall: Fantastic mobile computer option. Tablet mode isn’t the greatest but it works(an update could fix the issue). It comes with a smart pen and it’s a great option for busy people who need something they can hit town with and it also keeps up with bulkier laptops in the $1000 price range. A great option for students and entrepreneurs if you can afford it.

Lots of features
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There it a lot you can do with this laptop such at draw with the included pen, scroll and type with the touch screen, turn it into a tablet, and lots more. I find myself not really using all these feature but I’m glad I have the available. The camera could be better and the fan isn’t quiet but doesn’t run often. As far as the charge, I charge mine every night and am on if for about 4-6 hours a day for school and it holds just fine, but I don’t stream music the whole time.

Great laptop for school
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for school. It has good storage, good screen quality, awesome battery life. The display is rose gold and black and very beautiful. People complain that the fan is too loud but I only hear it minimally when it’s charging. It is on the pricey side in my opinion but so worth it. I wish the warranty wasn’t so pricey either, but it basically covers everything.

I love it, but the mouse is weird sometimes
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3.5 Stars I really want to love this laptop, but two glaring issues seem to be overshadowing all the good. Good stuff first. It's a sleek laptop, and very stylish. I love the numerical key pad - it really helps me with work. The screen is huge, and the volume is awesome, really clear sound and can get pretty loud. It runs quickly, even when I have a lot of programs open for work. The bad. The camera adds a weird purple hue to everything. I don't use the camera hardly ever, so this didn't bother me too much, but still, for the price of this laptop, the camera should be much better. I like that there's a fingerprint pad to unlock the laptop, but if it doesn't read my fingerprint right the first time, I have to use a pin instead, and then I have to reregister my finger print in the system to get that as a log in option. Kinda annoying. Now, for the biggest, worst issue I'm having. The touchpad. Sometimes, the mouse just disappears on it's own, even when I'm in the middle of using it. It reappears somewhere else within 5 seconds, but when I go to click on something and can't found the mouse, that's really annoying. This next part only happened once, but it was horrible. The computer was registering two mouses, one was frozen, and the other couldn't click anything. This was really bad, especially as it happened when I had a work training session online. I don't know why the mouse has these issues, but it has happened 3 times in the month and a half I've had the laptop. It seems to fix itself in a day, but why is it happening at all?? Very concerning. Despite the above issues, I'm keeping the laptop. I still like it, and the mouse issue doesn't happen often, and I haven't seen any other reviews mentioning it, so maybe there is just something faulty about the laptop I got. If you get this model, I'd just keep an eye on it. If you have any issues, take it in to get looked at before your return period closes. I wish I had done that, but I had a trip for work and needed the laptop, so I didn't have time. Also, maybe I was just too lazy to deal with the hassle of bringing it in and possibly having to get a new one. Just keep a close eye on this. When it's not having issue, the laptop works great.

Great laptop with long battery life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading a handful of online reviews, I chose to get this via Best Buy. Their price was as low as anyone and the in store pickup was seamless. The laptop has exceptional battery life, a clear and bright screen, great speed for all essential applications, and minimal bloatware. Looks great as well with narrow closed case. Would recommend for anyone looking at Windows laptops.

About the best laptop I've ever owned in 25 years.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disclaimer: I have only had this laptop for one month, so I have no idea if I will feel the same one or two years from now. However, the reason I bought this rather expensive laptop was because my previous laptop, a Dell Inspiron that cost over $1400 three years ago, has become unusable due to charging and keyboard issues that Dell is having a lot of trouble fixing. I'm a busy Realtor in Palm Springs, CA and my laptop is essentially my whole business. I can't go a day without it. I'm legally and contractually bound to my fiduciary duties under my license. So with that said, I wanted a bullet-proof BUSINESS laptop that could stand up to constant, daily use. I looked at everything in the $1500 - $2000 price range and I chose the HP Spectre over all the rest. I will never do business with Dell again due to their poor build quality and lackluster "Premium" support. It was all a big waste of money. So I'm very impressed with the HP so far. It's truly a well built, solid and beautifully engineered computer. The only fault I have with it so far is just it's weight which isn't that much of a problem for me because it seems so rock solidly built. It's like an S-Class Mercedes compared to a domestic family sedan. There's just something very reassuring about the build quality of this laptop. I hope it meets or exceeds my expectations. I also bought a new HP all in one printer and that is also a very well built and satisfyingly engineered peripheral. I'm glad I made the choice to pivot to HP.

Product has the speed I need.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP Spectre x360 is a great buy for the sale price ($1349.99) I paid. It has the speed and memory I need to perform the tasks I have on hand. I say this in comparison with Lenovo Yoga C740. Also HP Spectre x360 has a beautiful design that my wife really likes and the packaging was impressive.

Style and quality all around
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously purchased the 13" Spectre 4K Ultra HD with the OLED screen. It was a beautiful high quality computer. I had two issues with it, it was higher priced than I really wanted to pay and the battery life was much shorter than I expected, mostly due to the the OLED screen. I got this computer due to a larger screen, dedicated graphics card and was hoping that battery life was better. So far, so good on battery life, much better than previous one. Boot up time is quick, screen is sufficiently bright, backlit keyboard can be lit at two levels of brightness or off. Fingerprint scanner has worked flawlessly. Keyboard has a good solid feel. Hinges seem well constructed. I attach this to my tv for streaming and also as a second monitor, quick and easy connection. It comes with a pen stylus and also a leather case with a slot to hold the pen. I haven't used the pen much on this computer yet. The pen with this computer is a rechargeable pen, where the 13.3" model came with a AAAA battery which would need replaced. I like the larger screen so I can bring up two documents side by side for comparison and editing. The track pad is taking some getting used to since I have been using a MACBOOK PRO since 2011, just a different feel but good quality. I bought this on 22 May at full price and it went on sale shortly afterwards. I contacted Best Buy and they gave me the discounted price. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my purchase and the customer service that I have received.

HP Spectre 10th Generation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HP Spectre 15. Sharp looking. Like the lighted keyboard . Solidly made. Only real downside is not many USB ports and no CD R/RW. So that means you still need to purchase USB -Type C Hub (3.0) and CD/DVD/RW Drive (3.0). 2 more things to plug in. 2 more things to find space for. Otherwise Happy with it.

HP Spectre- Fantastic Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was exactly as I expected. The body of the computer is fairly heavy which means it's super sturdy. Keyboard has a very nice feel when typing (solid, positive key movement). Screen is fantastic. It goes almost to the edge and has a very clear picture. Speed of the machine itself has been fantastic. Very quick to boot up and web searches are a breeze. To top it all off, it actually got to me a couple days early. Forgot to mention set up. It was easier than easy. Everything functioned as it should and downloading the necessary software was a breeze.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs fusion 360 as smooth as can be. Excellent battery life and super fast startup. Streams videos beautifully. Four stars only because my fingerprint isn't always recognized and have never had that issue before. A little pricey but I'm cheap.

The perfect do everything laptop!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop since I only had an ipad and needed something with a larger screen and a physical keyboard. I went into bestbuy and saw this hp spectre computer on the table and was immediately draw to it. It has a striking design and seemed to have a lot of great specs for the money. I think if you don’t have a monitor/desktop at home a 15.6 in computer is the way to go. This one has a 4K screen which gets fairly bright and makes viewing content very enjoyable. The computer has a lot of storage, ram, and even a decent dedicated graphics card. I think this laptop brings a lot to the plate and i have no buyers remorse.

Great Laptop for Home and Business
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a powerful laptop for home and business. The touch screen is great quality and the sound and microphone work well also. I really like that is has both an HDMI port and a USB port as well as 2 USB-Type-C ports. While the webcam does not produce as high a quality picture as my old laptop, the laptop is very good for video conferencing and gives me access no matter where I am. The battery lasts my 6 - 7 hours under normal use. I like the slightly larger 15.6" screen size vs. my prior 14" screen. Yes, it is slightly heavier, but the case is more durable and still conveniently portable.
