As a laptop this Spectre x360 is amazing. Perfect size to balance between productivity and media consumption. Able to get through a full day of work on a single charge (Microsoft office, light photo editing). Screen resolution is amazing with its beautiful 4k display. Love that it came with the protective leather sleeve for carrying and the included touch pen. I will say however that when it comes to sketching, I still prefer my tablet over this, however this thing does the job and that's just me nitpicking. Definitely would recommend, and if you have a big ego, this will feed it with all the compliments you'll be getting.

This has been great computer for me. I have always been a Dell guy, But for my demands the Dell had price themselves out. This HP was an open box special and it has been great. Very fast and great graphics.

This laptop is replacing my Surface Pro 4 whose battery failed, proceeding to pop the screen off. Scary. Currently only used for entertainment, but it is ready to step up when needed. My wife is the main user, often on her lap! Great Screen, good keyboard, great track pad, reasonable storage. The power switch on the left rear corner is pretty flush so a bit hard to find by feel. MicroSD card slot a plus. HDMI, USB A and USB C ports are available. Alexa is built in .. kinda fun. The exterior finish is nice and the HP logo looks quite posh. So Far we are quite pleased. Purchased in Nov 2020 for $1349

My wife loves her new laptop. She loves how fast it is and how nice the screen looks. Her biggest need was a numbers keypad and this was one of the few who had it.

Had to go back to geek squad 3 times. The camera didn't work. it's been a month and I still don't have everything working on it. That doesn't work for me. The raised keyboard works. Makes typing so much easier.

This computer is great. Speed is great. It also has a very sharp screen. I like the touch screen, since I found touch pads on some computers can be touchy. Geek Squad people are also very talented and very helpful.

HP really seems to have listened to consumer feedback from the 2019 model. Slimmer bezels, improved WiFi connectivity, and even better touch pen experience out of box make this model a winner. I had purchased an open box late-2019 model, and experienced a few issues that ultimately led to a return. The WiFi signal bounced up and down in areas that normally have great coverage, and the hinges didn't have a super firm grip, which made me concerned about longevity. Not the case at all with this new model! WiFi signals have remained strong and the hinges are noticeably more firm and almost silent, where the previous generation got a little creaky for me. The keyboard is a dream to type on, with excellent feedback and multiple backlight settings to adjust to your ambient light. Speakers are good for a laptop, but not great - I'm okay with this. Also, let's talk touchpad! Night and day difference from last year's model with more fluid movement, and a reasonable sounding click when pressing down to make a selection. (No more cheap sounding clunk or bouncy touchpad from previous models). This feels like a very solid and quality machine. The Spectre has handled everything I've thrown at it, from photo editing to multiple browsing tabs, to streaming music, to installing new apps in the background (all at the same time). Meanwhile, only moderate battery drain and the ability to fine-tune performance settings and battery life to your perfect balance. The pen included out of box also seems a tad more responsive in this model. I don't rely heavily on it for drawing and cannot speak to that, but I find it extremely helpful in photo editing when I want to make a perfect selection or apply an effect to a specific area. Having the touchscreen and the pen allows an even greater level of precision that's incredibly hard to achieve with a mouse or touchpad. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this generation of the Spectre to power users that want to do more with their computer. I look forward to using this machine for several years to come.

Best laptop I've ever owned. Why-the specs; cant beat them! The price is yes, a little on the heafty side. But, as a professional, small business owner and grad student all in one, I can easily use this one unit as my personal and business laptop. On the go, docked with the larger screen and wireless keyboard, mouse, side by side screens in my office, or on the go. All the specs I needed. And, the webcam kill switch! Best 2 in 1 out there! Touchscreen, pen (tilt), latest software and hardware, Superb quality, great design, sturdy...Not a model that I will have to upgrade soon.

I bought this computer for my wife and she loves it. The computer looks great and performs well. It is very fast, the screen has beautiful picture quality, the sound quality is great as well and the keyboard is almost silent when typing. To her surprise the stylus was included when she opened the box. She also loves that the stylus has a magnetic hold to the exterior of the computer. Also she like that the computer is thin and lightweight. However, she did noticed a couple of flaws with it. For some reason her fingerprint settings keep reseting so she is constantly reprogramming her fingerprints. Also it seems that the speakers go mute whenever there is an update needed and they will not unmute until the update is performed. She also says computer is a little tough to open as there's no real tab, and the edges are curved in not allowing a grip.

This is a very good laptop. Set up was a breeze. I was hesitant prior to purchasing because of the reviews where some were saying the fan is too loud. Well folks, it is loud at first because it is downloading all the updates and configuring your set up all at the same times so YES it is loud due to initial set up. After that it is very quiet and super fast. I love the quality of the speakers and the ability to fold the laptop to be like an ipad. Good thing the laptop comes with an electronic pen so you can write or draw if you want. Battery life is very good and I just love the color and shape of this laptop. Overall I am happy with my purchase and can confidently recommend it to others.

it started out nice. everything looked soo nice and sharp. the keyboard lighting up the screen is very sharp looking. it was fast. but later on i really started using it with power hungry apps it started acting up. i edit YouTube videos and this thing started crashing. alot. seems like a memory issue. but with 16GBs you would think that's plenty of memory to do something like editing videos. ill have just my editing software running and a folder open and crash. made sure everything is updated and still crash. some times ill just be streaming a video to casually watch and crash. i stopped using this as in fear that ill lose something important im working on and a crash damages something that would make that something gone forever. the picture, everything is very sharp. play a actual 4k video to see the actual 4k of the screen. turns out most streaming apps dont play 4k stuff or you have to pay a higher fee to do so. words look less pixelated. the sound is okay. depending on what you're playing. i find i have to turn the sound all the way up to really hear streaming video playing. there was this one time all of the speakers stopped working. turns out this laptop has a thing were static electricity builds up and stops the speakers. had to google and find a video on YouTube on fixing that. had to restart and hold down the F6 key to "release" the static build up. WORKED. love how the keyboard lights up and dims. i love the gold metal around the system. its pretty thin. about half the weight of my previous laptop. feels about 5lbs. love the manual switch to turn off the webcam. i dont like how there's only one usb port. i have to carry about a usb hub if i want to use more than one usb device. i love how the cooling system has a in and out exhaust vents on both sides of the computer for better air flow. battery life is okay. at first using it i guess i had to charge it a few times to full to get the battery to its real charge state. at first batter would last about 2 hours. now after about year+ of charging it lasts for about 5 hours. to be honest i was really expecting a power house serious computer for over $1.1K with a i7 and 16GBs but its not as i was hoping. for a little bit more i would just put that money towards an apple.

I have had this for almost a month and am very pleased. it was very easy to set up and be able to use it very quickly. This came with stylus but I have not used it yet. The touch screen does work very well although I don't tend to use it as much. I don't notice the loud noise that others have referred to and although it does get warm, I don't see that gets overly hot. I have other HP laptops and like them, needed newer one and decided on this because it had features that I wanted and it also looks very nice.
