I waited a bit before posting this review to really see how the Spectre performed and I'm glad I did! For the first couple days I did have an issue of the fans constantly whirring at high volume but that can easily be fixed using HP's Thermal profile. At first I used the laptop for light internet use and heavy online gaming; the Spectre took it like a champ. With college beginning to take over my life, I can easily accomplish assignments and the tablet mode is EXTREMELY helpful. The pen can be awkward at first but with some practice I was able to work some magic. While being on the more expensive side of laptops, I think it was worth every penny.

I love this laptop. It's sleek, pretty, and overall great. So glad to have bought it and Best Buy gave such a good deal on it!!

Phenomenal Laptop!!! First it is beautiful, but the speed, graphics, and utility of Laptop or fold it into a touch pad. Is ideal for traveling. Plenty of storage...Love it!

Love my Spectre laptop. It's very sleek and easy to carry around. Lightweight and responsive. My only problem is how hot it gets under the laptop if I'm utilizing my laptop in the bed. The fan is also very loud.

I bought this laptop a few months ago, for school purposes. It has been the best laptop I have ever used! My favorite thing about this is the different settings fir keyboard backlight and also the touch screen. This laptop DOES come with its own stylus pen so do not worry about purchasing a separate one like I was told to do by the sales rep.

Great size and responsiveness. Love the design and number pad. Cover was an unexpected inclusion. Touch pen works great. Camera, picture, sound is awesome.

Love my new laptop! The keyboard feels really nice to use and having it back lit is a huge plus with me. Also having a number pad was a must for me (I work in accounting). It starts up super quick and I haven't noticed any lag at all when going from program to program. It transitions super easy to a tablet and having the keyboard on the bottom hasn't been an issue for me, I notice I use it in laptop mode more though. I like the stylus pen but haven't used it a ton yet to give a proper review. I love that the laptop comes with a sleeve and it has a special pocket to put the stylus pen in. Only potential future issue I see happening is the bottom gets a little warm after long use. I haven't watched a movie or anything on it yet but I feel that will be the best test to how much it heats up. Other than that I had to get used to a couple of the key placements near the number pad. The number lock key is where you usually see the delete key on a normal keyboard that has a number pad (at least in my case for work). For the first few days every time I went to hit delete I accidentally hit the number lock. More of an annoyance and learning curve than anything but I got used to it. I sometimes work remotely for work, when we do we log in to our computers at work through VPN. I plan on getting this set up on my laptop soon, I will give an update if I find there's any issues with this. Overall this a great laptop that I would highly recommend for business, school or personal use!

I particularly like HP laptops I have been using them for many years and I've never had any real issues with them. The price was a bit hefty, however once I started using it I didn't seem to mind cost so much. One thing in particular I like about it is that it's heavy so when you open it up it doesn't flop around. I've received a lot of compliments about how desirable the look is also. Mainly, it's extremely fast and does not much else to say I mean its windows 10 so I am very familiar with it. I cannot say how I will feel in a month, however, today I am extremely happy with this computer.

I was not sure what I was getting when I ordered this computer last minute. It had everything I needed which is why I did not care about the color or any other bells and whistles. When I opened the box, even the box carrying the laptop was nice. The additional laptop sleeve and pen was a complete surprise and I'm happy I did not order them separately. Love the color. Love that it is a 2-n-1. I'm still learning the computer but everything was a breeze to setup and I would suggest this laptop to others. I've only had it for a little over a month but I have no complaints. Happy that I bought this "blind".

Great laptop. Fast and efficient for my needs. Used mainly for office work, running Microsoft Office and a couple of Adobe programs and tons of tabs open in Chrome. Absolutely love the 10-key! 4K is stunning. When docked, it works seamlessly with my Dell 27” 4K monitor and Logitech mouse/keyboard.

I really like my Spectre. It's fast, quite, and the resolution is great. It's a little on the heavy side compared to other laptops but I still love it.

So far so good haven't really stretched the power of it yet , love the speed to move on the web , battery life is really good getting about 7 hrs continuous. Sound quality is another plus as well.

What an amazing Laptop - full of apps and super fast. Had shopped around and Best Buy had the best price.

It is a superb laptop. It starts up quickly and is a very fast machine. I love it and would recommend it to anyone for personal use or business use.

Excellent laptop. I've been partial to HP computers in the past; this one does not disappoint. Very powerful & fast; probably has more bells & whistles than I'll every use. My only disappointment was that it came with a 1/2-Terabyte hard drive, which was too small for my needs. I had Geek Squad install a 1-Terabyte hard drive during the initial setup & I'm glad I did. This computer should last me a good long time.

The HP Spectre is great laptop, nice design, lite and great speed. Still getting use to all that it has to offer and enjoying the possibilities.

It's a powerful laptop, can run many software together. Display is awesome for watching videos.

I previously had a MacBook Pro and so this was a big switch but I’m really enjoying this HP laptop’. It’s taking some getting used to but I’m glad I went with the Spectre instead of the less expensive one. Love the larger screen and speakers - So far so good! The case that comes with it is too small but that’s not a big deal. I use it for storing other things. Oh and I really like the keyboard - big letters, easy to type. I recommend :)

A bit heavy but sturdy. I like the lighted keyboard which includes the number pad. Easy to use!

Somewhat bulky laptop from HP with overall very good specs. Unfortunately comes with the usual bloatware so you have to clean up the OS. Gets quite warm when heavily used. Two biggest complaints are: 1) fingerprint reader does not work consistently at all, 2) should come with either more ports or a very nice USB hub for the price. The battlestar galactification (removal of corners) only applies to the back two. Not really a stylistic statement overall. Keyboard is not a clicky as it could be either.
