I was really excited to purchase this item. But when I started using it I was disappointed in the quality of the pictures. Wanted to return it but my 14 day return period was up. I would stick to the Polaroid instax it's a lot better.

Do not buy. if you want a photo printer, just get a regular HP sprocket. The printer is good, but the camera is a joke. i did not expect too much from 5 megapixels. it came out worse than 5 megapixels. definitely not worth $159. Horrible quality.

      Hi,

I'm very sorry to hear that you don't think the pictures are good, but I'm hoping that they can be made better.

Here are some steps to improve the picture quality:
      - First, I'd recommend you update the firmware (using the app). We are constantly improving many things (especially photo quality) with firmware updates
      - Then, you can follow the troubleshooting in this document to get the settings right: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05660842
      - Also, many of our customers have had success adjusting the photos before printing. You can use the Sprocket itself or another app to do the editing

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your Sprocket printer has not rendered the print quality you expected. I can understand why that would be a big disappointment, so if you’ve not returned it yet, I’ll offer some information and resources that I hope will help.

First, I recommend following the steps listed in this guide to improving print quality, including dark, light or faded areas; lines or streaks; contouring issues such as blurred or fuzzy areas; and incorrect colors such as off-color skin tones:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05660842

If the problem persists, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

      Hello Cristian,

I'm very sorry to see that you're not pleased with the contrast in the pictures. There are some steps you can follow that might remedy that:
      - You can update your firmware (using the app). We are constantly improving things (especially the colors) with firmware updates
      - Then, you can follow the other troubleshooting directions in this document: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05660842
