Great for your first computer but be prepared to purchase an external hard drive as this does not have one and it has only 4gb of flash memory. The mouse pad isnt very sensitive so it doesnt move as fast as your fingers.

purchased this for my daughter but she was very unhappy and complains that its very slow

HP Laptop was a christmas gift for my daughter. She loves it and easy to use. The 14 inch is a great size and has Windows 10. I'll recommend it.

I bought this in October 2019. Worked great until October 2021. Black screen with "Boot device Not Found" and "Install Operating System" message. It's a nice laptop and I'm buying a Windows 10 operating system, which is still cheaper than buying a new laptop. Will see how it goes.

Overall the HP Stream 14' Laptop is okay. Would have liked something that was a little easier for me to use.

Had to return the laptop. The processor in it was slow and would heat up and constantly shut down.

I bought 3 of these for my granddaughters to do their e-learning. They've worked out very nicely.

I really wanted this computer to work for me, but it runs like I'm using dial-up. I'm talking multiple web pages crashing, taking 30 seconds at LEAST to load a webpage, and text that I'm typing not showing up until about 15 seconds after I've typed it. It seriously functions like it was made in 2005. All of these issues were readily apparent right out of the box, and have only gotten more frustrating to deal with. At first, I thought I was overloading it since I use it for work and need to have multiple tabs open at once, but even when I use it leisurely at home it functions worse than my old laptop that had a dying motherboard. I can't even use the HP Stream to stream, because any media it tries to load just lags and buffers. Stay away from this laptop and go with something more functional.

I’ve had this computer for less than 2 years and the motherboard already died. It ran very slowly, glitched constantly, and would die quickly if it wasn’t charging.
