    Bought less than 24 hours ago, currently reformatting and it will be going back today. Will not stay connected to internet, regardless of settings or wireless network used, even proven reliable networks. HP's tools help, but won't actually fix the problem. I've spent better than 12 hours trying to get this thing usable. It was initially incredibly slow, both in processing and screen speed. All mouse clicks had to be followed by a several second waiting period, otherwise you would get ahead of the machine. Screen was visibly slow-you can watch the mouse drag across. Windows can be switched out of "S" mode for free, which helps. Once all the bloatware was taken off and power settings changed to allow it to run alright it wasn't too bad machine as long as you don't need a reliable internet connection. All this was on a brand new out of the box machine with the only added program being Google Chrome. I've had less problems out of 5 year old computers than I had in the first 5 minutes with this one.

    I got this on Tuesday, 2/26 as a birthday present for myself, and I have had SO many problems with it. I don't know what kind of wifi card this thing has, but it will NOT maintain a connection to ANY of my networks. I tried it with the 2.4ghz network, I tried it with the 5ghz network, and I even tried it with my mobile hotspot. The computer just WILL NOT stay connected. If I'm trying to type in a web app (email, Google docs, etc) it will just disconnect and spend 1-2 minutes "reconnecting" in which it does absolutely nothing. I have to toggle the wifi just to get it to FIND the right network, and once we're connected it only stays that way for 5-6 minutes before crapping out again. That problem is on top of the issue where the software product key was not included in the box, and I had to completely reset the whole thing just so I could log into the correct Microsoft account. I didn't want a Windows computer in the first place, but the Chromebook I wanted to buy was sold out both in store and online, so I settled for what I thought would be the next best thing; boy was I wrong. Skip this one, and get something else.

    This low powered device is hardly worth your money. On a initial review the newer wireless AC and eccm disk should make it a low cost simple solution for very basic intranet use. However it comes packed with problems. My professional IT team had to upgrade ours, had issues installing, MS-office, problems with updates and was very disappointed in the very basic needs its was purchased for. Our goal was simple 1 page excel and ms word. As well as a single page website for training. For these matters it barely meets our expectations. My recommendation is to stay away from these devices and simply move into a cheep i3 any brand laptop. These had potential but you get what you pay for here. Cheep Also note we purchased 4 of them and it was the same for each one. Not a unique situation. They are cheep and slow

    This laptop is absolute garbage! I never write reviews but this is the worst laptop I’ve ever used! Slow, Wifi drops out constantly, no fan so it runs extremely hot. Had it for 2 days, I lost WiFi connection more than I was able to use it. Had to have HP remotely access the laptop TWICE, to try and fix it and even they couldn’t figure out what was causing multiple WiFi networks to just randomly disconnect. Finally their advice was to completely wipe the computer out and try again. Sorry, when it finishes deleting everything, it’s going back to the store!

    I was excited to have this as the price was so good. BUT it overheated and bogged down within 30 minutes of turning it on. It lost connection to the internet every time I loaded a page and I'd have to restart it. I gave it overnight to calm down and tried again this morning. I was watching a video on Facebook (3 minutes long) and it bogged down again and then lost internet connection. I'm restoring the factory settings now and taking this junk back. I should have bought the better one in the first place.

    Low Processing Power Not the Big Issue

    I really wanted to like this computer. It was cheap and I knew it would have low processing power, but since I do almost everything cloud based that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. However, the computer wouldn’t stay connected to the internet for more than five or ten minutes at a time. After googling the issue, I found that this was rather common. I gave up trying to fight with a computer that had been out of the box for less than 3 hours and exchanged. Truly an instance of you get what you pay for.

    I needed a laptop just to get assignments done so I bought this one today for a reasonable price. While doing the set up process I noticed it running slow but I continued through & figured it was because I was setting everything up. Once the set up process finished it still ran slow. There were apps that I tried to download but the computer never downloaded them. This is definitely not a good laptop. I will be returning it.

    I would not recommend this laptop to anyone, it is really cheap made (pure plastic) and the internal components are terrible. As an example, every time you turn on the laptop you would need to re-connect to Internet. Tremendous connectivity and performance issues. Spent $50 more, and get a decent laptop. Returning the item today, after 72hs of use.

    This computer is the SLOWEST I have ever used. My 4 year old surface loads pages 5-10 times faster using the same network. I went through and did all windows updates, restarts, etc and the speed is still pathetic. it even lags when clicking on the start menu... DON'T BUY THIS!! I am returning it to the store as soon as I can get Windows to reset.

    I got this for my daughter of 9 years old for usage of school related work but it was extremely slow. When we opened internet explorer or google chrome to search something, it took a while for us to actually be able to type the keyword. We had to return it.

    I keep getting kicked off the internet and my computer says I am still connected. It has gotten better over time ...I have no idea why....some have looked at it and cannot find anything wrong. Troubleshooter keeps coming up if a different problem each time I run it.

    I had issues connecting to the internet. There were other laptops and devices in the house that would be connected and working fine, but this item would not even pick up the network. Also, the computer was slower than my 12 year old laptop.

    The item Was not package at all other then factory box. When you pay so much for somthing it should be packaged and sent in s more proper way . Then the computer is so slow. Can barely us it because it takes so long to load things.
