I love my new printer! It’s easy to set up. Easy to use. Prints beautifully. Relatively quiet when actively printing. I joined HP’s Printing program and received 4 months free. Free cartridges when needed. They make sure you have replacement cartridges before you actually need them. When you do run out of ink, you’ll have color and black ink on hand. The printer works great with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. What’s really nice is printing pics straight from your phone is free! It doesn’t count against the limit you picked. And the end product looks very professional. I’m glad I bought myself a Tango!

This is a light and compact design of the printer. The set up was simple. It was easy-to-use; so far, I have tried to print about 15 pages docs each time. The color of the printouts was good. I have not tried to print the pictures so I did not know how good it will be but for a light job, it fit my needs.

I had the chance to try out the HP Tango. The printer is a really simple but functional printer. No bells and whistles, just setup and print. HP is moving towards making sure you're always stocked with ink so you don't run out at the worst time, where HP has introduced HP Instant Ink. It's a monthly low price subscription that HP automatically sends you black or color inks depending on your plan. The printer itself is really plain wireless printer that works with anything that can connect to wifi network. Like most printers you can also print photos along with your normal printing needs. The printer will take the standard 4x6 photo paper.

I needed a printer with a small footprint and this one fits the need. The print quality is good and it is very quite. Works easily with all my Apple devices wirelessly IPhone, IPad, and Mac. So if you need a small printer with not a lot of bells and whistles this is what you should get.

Posted 2/22/20 I, being a college student have always had the issue of buying a printer or trying to navigate using the universities printers which have very bloated and hard to use software and if you do manage to get it to work it is always out of paper thus i was forced into the printer hunt. I have had other printers from the $20 cannons to a $150 Epson and this printer is night and day better. Prints straight from the app on your phone so no need to downlaod software onto your computrer that alwauys needs updated every time you start your computor and so easy to set up. When reviewing I use a proprietary list to get a x/100 score and heres how the HP - Tango breaks down. 1/10 = bad 5/10 = average 10/10 = Significantly above average Value- 9/10 and this is controversial because printers are known to be ripoffs between printing and just how much they have sucked up until now however when compiling all the data below i cant see how it could go lower as it is the perfect machine. Design- 8/10 printers aren't great looking machines but this does the best for what it is and can easily blend into a home office or dorm and can be easily stowed away as it folds into a rectangle box. Usability- 10/10 and the best I've seen yet for printers, if you can use a smartphone you can use this with no menu garbage and head pounding and this is absolutely the gold standard for printing. Practicality- 10/10 the app and ink shipping make it awesome and mindless so you aren't stressing to print at the end of a project/paper or any other important doc and you can easily just do it from your phone or computer quickly. Reliability - 8/10 this printer is one of the most reliable and haven't had any print issues or jams and is always ready to print however you have to be mindful of putting the paper in as it feeds somewhat weird (to me). Longevity (how long until it needs upgraded)- 10/10 This printer also suited to last a long time and shouldn't need upgraded unless it breaks or some new groundbreaking print tech comes out in the next 5 years or you loose it. Build Quality- 7/10 it is made of plastic as most printers are so it has nothing special however the lights on the front make it look more appealing so i wont set it to an average of 5 Features- 8/10 the app and auto ship ink are something i've never seen done before and it does them really well. It doesn't have picture quality printing or some cool features that would make it more than just a home printer but what it does do it masters. Foreseeable issues- 10/10 none seen after 3 months of heavy use Compared to the Competition- 10/10 in home printing it is unrivaled as many from 20-300 it is the absolute best at home printing and isnt even close to being rivaled as of 2/22/20 How it performs its design task(ie. a fan can have all the features but suck at actually being a fan)- 7/10 this printer is the best at just straight printing however if you are looking for a picture printer this inst for you as it cant do in depth detail however for small images it inst bad. For normal persons use tho this should be perfect. Reoccurring charges (if applicable)- Ink and it is an auto ship with options to be custom tailored to your print habits and the ink prices aren't the worst so you don't have to worry about obscene print prices. Final score- 87/100 Summary- If you are looking for a printer to keep longer than a few months than this is your printer as it masters ease of use and anything else you would need for daily printing.

When my wife and I both got new MacBook Air laptops, we needed a new printer. We wanted something that was compact, could print in color as well as black and white, and could print reasonably quickly. The HP Tango Wireless does all these things, and it does them very well. It is also quiet. Both the backrest for the paper input and the tray for finished documents fold away to make it even more compact for storage. The instructions for set-up are minimal, so I had someone from Geek Squad come to our home. This printer is so new that he had never set one up before. We are very happy with it, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a compact printer.

The first printer I’ve owned which fits perfectly in any room. It is sleek and quite with only a power cord connecting to it. You do have to use the HP app to connect it to WiFi but all of the set up with very easy. Printing is sharp and colors are bright. I often print documents directly from my iPhone or iPad with no drivers needed. Minor annoyances are: WiFi only printing, no direct connection, a little bit of work needed to print duplex and sometimes it gets kicked off WiFi. If you are in the market for a new printer and want something that does the job well and looks great then I would try this one.

So far so good. Very easy to set up and the print quality is great. Also a very sleek a clean looking design which does not scream out PRINTER when you leave it sitting out on display. Had one of the hinges on the lid/paper tray broke immediately but was not worth sending back. A piece of tape has been holding up well so far. Otherwise might be a 5-star product.

I came across this printer by accident while looking at other printers two to three times this price point. I just wanted something that work every time I needed to work. I don’t print often, but when I do I need my printer to work. My last printer was barely used but it just didn’t work regardless of how much new ink I dumped into it. This printer works and works as advertised. For me it was a good buy at the price point that was better than I was expecting for the quality.

The HP printer I have had for nearly 11 years finally took the plunge. I immediately hopped onto Best Buy's website to check out good reviews on printers, this one caught my eye right away. I took a trip into the store, purchased the HP Tango Printer and set it up as soon as I got home. The setup process is extremely easy, the printer quality is amazing, the speed is lightening fast, and it's extremely compact! My mom also purchased this printer and said the photo printing quality is incredible! What a wonderful little printer!

If you're in the market for a new printer I'd highly recommend this one. It's probably the easiest printer I've EVER set up in the last 20 years. No USB or network cables to fuss with and not software to fuss with. You can set it up from your phone, tablet or computer and for this one, I'd actually recommend using your phone or tablet to set it up first (it's so much easier). Printing is easy too once you set it up and it works great with both my iPhone and iPad and Windows 10 PC. Prints are relatively quick and I think that Instant Ink, especially on this printer, is essential. The free mobile prints almost sounded too good to be true but it's not.. as long as you print from your phone and have instant ink subscription they're free, all you need to do is supply the photo paper. Impressive! Quality of the prints is overall very good for this class of printer though if you're aiming for the highest quality "proof" type prints that have calibrated colors you might want to look at the 10 color ink professional printers. For the everyday prints and day to day use the quality is PERFECT! The ONLY thing I wish HP would have designed differently is a way to hold the paper so you don't have to load it each time if you're switching between photo paper and regular paper. I would have loved to have seen them design it so there's an internal tray for photo paper under the printer and then a manual feed for larger regular paper. The HP software that enables scanning from your phone works alright but isn't the best I've used as it seemed to cut pages off unless the room was bright and the surface the paper was on was solid and provided good contrast. If it has that then it does pretty good and eliminates the need for a scanner. I have to say that even though it's manual (taking a picture of each page) it's probably as good or better than having a large flatbed on your printer for the scanner taking up space to only be used once in a while. Overall, this is a great printer and I'd recommend it! Especially to anyone who takes a lot of photos with their phone or uses a tablet more than they use a computer.

I wanted to print from from phone and my iPad and this printer is perfect. Just download the app and follow the prompts .Took all of about 10 minutes. I signed up for the instant ink account bc they were giving 4 months free and I can cancel at the end of the 4 months. I don’t do much printing so I probably wont need much ink but I didn’t kn ow how much ink is used with printing photos. Just select a photo and tap print. Also works with Alexa.

I love this printer! It's small, pretty, easy to set up and use, quiet, fast and prints great quality! I love that it's stylish and small. I'm a mom that works from home and the fact the I can print in the same room as my napping baby is a huge bonus. I can print labels right from my phone in just a couple clicks and it only took minutes to set up by myself! And the quality of pictures is great!

This is a small nice looking printer that prints well via wifi. It prints quietly and smoothly and the fun thing about it is that you can ask Alexa to print shopping lists, daily comics, etc... But beware! This is one very limited printer. No scanning, no USB port, no cable, and expensive ink. Beware the Instant Ink program. Big Brother is in full swing here in exchange for your ink (soul) he will monitor page counts, ink levels, types of documents you print, and they will share your information: what printer, retailer, name, address, serial # printer, and email. I wish I had purchased the HP OfficeJet 250 - it has a lot more features and is far more versatile.

Great printer choice at a good price. Moderately easy to set up with quality printing. Ink supplied at an inexpensive price and brought to you via mail. It would be better if all instructions were centralized to one source instead of being on several sheets or sources. But for the money this is an excellent printer.
