I have been using it to print photos, the quality and speed is great. Scanner is not available in the printer. That's a disappointment but I don't scan much. Overall a great small package.

You can print from multiple devices. Pairing is done thru the phone itself as long as both the phone and printer is on the same network. Printing quality is very good. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it doesn't do scanning. But I have an app for this on my phone.

Setup was pretty easy using my phone and the app based setup system. I tried the "scanning" feature-basically you take a photo of a document with your phone and it can print from that. It worked like it should, I was impressed with that... but no "real" scanning capabilities that you may be used to. Print speeds were not that fast, but that is what I expected for a printer this small and compact. Its not marketed as a printer for an office or business setting. It will work perfect when used in the home or home office. Overall, it has a small footprint and is an attractive looking printer, especially with the cover on... When the cover is on it that makes you think its not really a printer... it almost looks like a smart speaker similar to Amazon echo or Google Home.

I don't have a "home office" - I don't have a use for one. We use our printer an average of 2-3x a week. We don't need a powerhouse machine made for a small business taking up space on our desk. We don't make many copies or scans where a simple electronic copy using my smartphone won't suffice. For me and my family this printer rocks. Its relatively small and disappears on the desk. Most people walking by would never guess it's a printer. The HP instant ink program is fairly novel and works for my family. I'm not trying to save ink. I just print what I actually need on paper and forget the rest. And I can print for anywhere and when I get home I open up the printer and it will print whatever is in the queue. Whether it takes 3s or 20s per page doesn't matter to me for my light use. This printer is near perfect so far.

I have been wanting a new printer for a while, and its always so hard to choose one. My old canon, you cant buy the ink for anymore at a store. This is much more compact than my old printer/scanner. You have to download the app first, there is a HP app called HP smart you need. Make sure you choose the correct app from the store. I set up my wifi network from the app (so easier to type in the wifi password than using the printer). The printer comes with a single black and a single multi color cartridge. I printed a test pdf. It came out decent, not great. it took less time to load and print from my old canon printer. I did have some bleed I did not have previously. You cant really scan with this so that is disappointment. if you use the included cover you can not leave paper in it, so you can add a print to the que when you get home and set it all back up. there is no paper hold for when it prints. There is an ink subscription you can get. I did not try the smart assistant ( I have siri) Pro: easy setup small footprint much quieter than older printers love the cover to hide the printer I can print right from my iPhone cons: if you use the linen cover you cant keep paper loaded once it has printed, the paper needs a flat surface, no tray is included no true scanned noticeably slow no siri support
