The pressure is fine. Not the best primary art stylus but its good if you're starting out and already own a hp compatible device. I ended up caving and getting a ipad / apple pencil combo. This was fine while I needed it but it just wasn't the user experience I wanted for multiple reasons. The pen itself is high quality and good for other uses I just dont love the art experience.

Ok the good this Pen is super responsive and has tons of little tricks to help Navigate your device. My only down fall and I Say this with Comparison to my note 10 + Stylus, the battery life Seems to be a joke for any moderate on Screen use. Seems like if I don't Charge it after every use the next time I go to use if it's dead. I am a costume to the note 10s where I can draw and edit for hours with No worries. With that being said these two do no Connect the Same way & the HP Tilt feels way more Comfortable in the hand. if there was Just that better butlery life. Final note the built in erase feature really Saves time when editing things.

    Works Great but 'Cheap' Material

I purchased the HP Tilt Pen after I bought the HP Spectre x360 13 laptop earlier this year. The HP Spectre x360 13 came with the standard HP pen (which I never opened) but I had a few Microsoft Surface pens that I was using instead of the HP pen. Information on the internet about the tilt functionality of the HP Tilt Pen was somewhat vague so I decided to buy one at Best Buy and see how it works. The HP Tilt Pen works very well and after charging with a USB C cable, the pen lasts for several hours. I would prefer the battery capability of the Surface Pen as the AAAA batteries last about a year. The Surface Pen is metal while the HP Tilt Pen is plastic and the plastic clip feels as though it is about to break so I am very careful with the pen. The HP Tilt Pen's tilt function works wonderfully in Sketchpad and I was finally able to shade pictures by holding the pen at an angle. It takes practice to get the tilt function to work. Also, I did have issues connecting the HP Tilt Pen to the computer as I have to reconnect every time the pen is charged. I know some do not like the batteries in Surface pens but at least they stay charged and connected for a year or so. The HP Tilt Pen is a great pen but the material could be more sturdy.

Great connection and works really well without lag. Unlocking it to charge it was scary at first because it locks in pretty tight but after the first time opening the pen it's all good.

I was disappointed when I received this and realized I had to then go out and buy a special charging cord in order for it to work. The pen works fine once that problem is solved.

Inconvenient in music when the charge fails

My other HP pens each have a AAAA (yes, I really typed 4 A's) battery inside, so when the battery fails, I have a package of spares in my music bag that provide immediate replacement of the dead battery. With this one, I can no longer use it till it's charged again. When warming up or after playing the piece of music, I frequently make notes on it to better prepare it for future use. This would work only if I had a back-up stylus ready to use when it fails. My husband uses his rechargeable Apple pen for work & has no issues with recharging it when it fails. My marking music gets very messy without the precision of the stylus pen tip. I would not recommend it for those who need uninterrupted annotation access.

    Best stylus for my laptop

I recently purchased an HP Spectre x360 4k touchscreen laptop and this stylus is much easier to use when doing digital art than the stylus provided with the laptop and the bamboo stylus. It works like a pencil when drawing (can turn it over to use as an "eraser" on the computer) and it is very intuitively designed. Great ability to sense different pressures when drawing, too. I only wish it came with the charger in the package; luckily I have my galaxy s9 phone charger that does the job. Pen keeps charge for a long time with even a short charging period.

I researched a few pens and this was compatible with my laptop. I ordered it for $80ish. Got it in the mail, quick start guide says to plug it in to charge it first. Plug it in? It doesn't come with a charger! And that isn't noted anywhere, After 1/2 an hour and 4 different people on HP call, they said they also don't sell a charger and that i can use one from a cell phone. But i have an iPhone. Stupid. Don't sell a product without the tools needed to use it.

I never got the chance to actually use this stylus after I purchased it because right after opening the box and reading the instructions I discovered I COULD NOT use it. According to the directions, the stylus has to charge for however many hours, but with a specific charger called "Type C" that is NOT included with the stylus. I was disappointed that I could not use my stylus because I heard great things about it. The manufacturing company should list what is ALL INCLUDED and what IS NOT on the outside of the box. Please take this review seriously if you are reading this. If you still want to purchase this stylus make sure you already have a "Type C" charger :/

I am not a "power user" of this pen, but it is a necessary accessory for me to learn to use as I'm in architecture school. It makes drawing/editing with Adobe software a lot easier, in particular Illustrator. I still prefer drawing w/pen or pencil on paper, but for digital diagrams, it makes my life easier.
