I gave 4 stars because I order it for my son for Christmas the next day after Christmas it wouldn’t charge or none took it back had to wait 4 days for a replacement but they took care the situation just don’t understand how a 800 dollar computer motherboard be bad if it was brand new but my son love it so hopefully the replacement do not give him a problem

My 9 year old son absolutely loves this gaming computer. It was very economical, has good gpu, cpu and a decent amount of ram for the price. I caught it on sale during the holidays and i and super pleased!

I bought this laptop to run my electric guitar through to interface with various recording software. Unfortunately, the cable to USB interface wouldn't work at all. I tried various configurations, removed/reinstalled the OMEN software, and could never get any sound but extreme fuzz/feedback.
It's a pretty nice and solid laptop and probably works great for games, but I'd steer clear if you're doing anything with music and/or sound interfaces. I had high hopes for this budget gaming laptop, but had to return it.

Got this item on sale for just around 600 dollars. It can run the latest games just fine while plugged in, and the NVIDIA GPU can handle most gaming related tasks without issue. I'd say it's definitely worth the price.

Lots of bang for your buck! If you're able to get this for under $600, it's really a steal. I've yet to find a game it won't run!
It could use another 16GB of memory and at least a TB of disk, but it's still a great system!
I would've given it 5 stars but the touchpad somehow got stuck after only a few months and it had to go back to HP. Bummer!

I have had this laptop for over a month now and I feel like I can provide a honest review. Updated to this laptop due to Windows 10 phasing out. Great laptop for general use and gaming. Battery life is really good. Lighted keyboard is way better than my prior laptops. Screen is vibrant. Mouse pad is spot on with no lag. Very happy with my purchase.
