Bought at $700 right before the deals came in but oh well. Good laptop for light/medium gaming. I mostly play strategy games like the TOTAL WAR series, and Paradox games (Crusader Kings, Hearts of Iron, etc.). For that purpose, it's a decent enough laptop. Have not tested AAA games or any "high-consumption" games. Upgraded the SSD to 1TB on my own. Only one slot for SSD so keep that in mind if you are wanting to upgrade. Had to reinstall Windows onto the new SSD.

I got this on sale for my grandson. He LOVES it. He has had laptops before, but he said this is his favorite, so far. High praise from a teen! He mainly uses it for gaming with his friends online. I would recommend this laptop!

Works great. Pretty fast. No lag. Easy to setup.

I'd rather have the HDMI and other connectors on the left side vs the right and the keyboard was a challenge to get used to since my old PC doesn't have a number keyboard. Otherwise so far so good! Am going to try using an open source LLM with this machine which will be the test of whether I got enough RAM and GPU memory.

This laptop exceeded my expectations. The performance is smooth and fast, perfect for multitasking and light gaming. The display is bright and clear, and the keyboard feels comfortable for long use. Battery life is solid, and the build quality is reliable. Definitely worth it!

I this laptop for my daughter. It replaced her PC and it fit the bill for her college needs. As well as her gaming interests. She has not complained once & says that it performs better than she expected. We bought it on sale. Money well spent

Playing sims works great. Battery doesn’t last as long as advertised.

Owned this laptop for about a month now, and I have done everything from playing games to editing videos and photos using Adobe, and having multiple tabs open(on Chrome, and everyone knows how Chrome can drain your RAM), and yet everything runs so smoothly. Love the laptop!

Bought this for my son who will be using it to produce music primarily, and to play occasional games. Out of the box, laptop is built well, keys are tactile, good feedback, screen is bright and crisp. Software being used are responsive, no lag, quick and effortless. Overall satisfied with the purchase, and at a great sale price. Meets everything we needed out of it and more.

replaced the SSD, ram should probably be upgraded to 32 gb, but will do in future, runs games adequate.

At sub-$500 this is a fantastic deal. The display is crisp with vivid colors and a high refresh rate. Even under heavy load the chassis stays cool, and fans are quiet by gaming laptop standards. The system is easily upgradable (both ram and SSD) which is a huge plus as even many corporate grade machines use soldered memory these days. The keyboard has decent travel for a laptop and is comfortable to type on.

Works exactly as described. Was probably a top gaming machine only a few year ago, now it’s a good mid-level PC that includes a Nvidia GPU for 1/3rd to 1/5th the price of a newest/hottest model. Keyboard was better than I expected given some reviews. Maybe in the future I’ll upgrade to 32 GB RAM but I’m just getting started. Delivery was EXCELLENT too.

I'm not gonna hold you, it did take a second for the laptop to grow on me. I use it primarily for gaming. This is an excellent mid tier gaming laptop.

Been using for a couple weeks. Able to access all the programs I need for college, connects quickly. Great graphics. Haven't used it for gaming yet, but don't anticpate any issues. Appreciate the separate numeric pad. Happy with my purchase, I would recommend.
