Customers commend the Victus 15.6" Gaming Laptop for its remarkable performance, smooth speed, and crystal-clear graphics, making it a great value for the price. The lit keyboard and ease of use are also appreciated, along with its aesthetically pleasing, lightweight design. Worth Buying
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd be happy to write a review for a laptop, but I need some more information first. Could you tell me a little bit about the laptop you'd like me to review? For example, what is the brand and model? What are the specs? What are you planning to use it for? The more information you can give me, the better I can tailor the review to your needs. Once I have that information, I can start writing the review. I'll cover things like the design, performance, battery life, display, keyboard, and touchpad. I'll also compare it to other laptops on the market and give you my overall verdict on whether or not I think it's worth buying.

Amazing Computer!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an amazing laptop for both gaming and working! It doesn’t drain the battery easily and can last up to hours without charging it. The best part is how much storage you can get without having to pay for more. There’s about 500 gigabytes of storage to store your files and to download games with a lot of data. Speaking of games, the graphics are amazing! The display is clear and adjustable for perfects. The laptop doesn’t heat up too much due to game graphics and that is what I adore. I absolutely love this computer and I recommend it!

Great for homework and light gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good laptop for homework assignments and 3d modeling autocad. Decent for simple games or low preset tripple A titles. I expanded the ram myself and would recommend this for others with simaliar needs. If it is to be a main gaming laptop I would reccomend a stronger GPU. Over all very good Ive been using it for almost 2 years now!

Great budget gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great budget gaming laptop! I'm a pretty novice gamer and am running some RPG's, and so far it's been running great. I also upgraded the RAM from 8gb to 16gb and performance has been better than I expected for a budget laptop (although I'm coming from a Mac so anything will look better to me). Only cons I have so far is that the screen quality/clarity is pretty lackluster and the cooling system gets pretty loud during gaming and heavy duty applications, but that's kind of expected for a laptop in this segment. All in all great buy if you're looking for something that won't break the bank!

Cromulent
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very cromulent, For my purposes of light gaming and school it does well. It does chug a little every one in a while i think because of ram usage however it is very possible to upgrade the ram within. Mousepad: Smooth and satisfying Keyboard: Cromulent, Has numpad Screen: As good as you would need Overall Aesthetics: Clean Airflow: Vents on the bottom and the back near the hinge. The back vent kicks into gear during gaming and high power usage Battery: A little short, 2-3 hours depending on usage

When on sale, a fantastic budget all around PC.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's go over the good stuff about this laptop. Picked it up on sale, so the price was really good. -10 Key. You think you don't need one until you don't have one. Glad one in this price range existed -modern AMD APU and Dedicated Nvidia Graphics. -USB Ports are spread out. Preferred vs all on one side personally. -144hz refresh rate display The neutral: -Don't know if USB-C port does power delivery or video out. Haven't seen clear documentation on it (but maybe I haven't looked hard enough) -1 stick of DDR5 ram. It's not expensive anymore, thankfully. However the timings aren't readily available so if you buy a 2nd stick to initiate dual channel, your timings will likely be a little mismatched The Negative: -only ONE m.2 slot. Most laptops will have two, if not also have a 2.5 slot. This has neither. No product key for windows is readily available, so if you swap your ssd with cloning, you'll need to buy another activation key for windows 11. -screen brightness. Not that you'd be super bright all the time, but if you are in a well lit space, it might make it harder to work with. -bloatware. It's going to happen with ANY branded laptop. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. -nvidia RTX 2050 is behind on drivers. I have a mobile 3060 on another laptop and it's two months ahead driverwise. -No battery management software to prolong battery life. I didn't get this for gaming (despite it being a "gaming" laptop) as I was replacing an 11 year old laptop for the Mrs. I did opt for "gaming" as it's usually a little better build quality than your usual $300-400 laptops with 10-key and 15-17" screens. That being said, I'm sure with the tensor cores, it'll allow you to utilize DLSS if you decide to play some games (that utilize DLSS). 4GB of video memory won't get you much with newer games, but older games should run like butter. If you do game, expect low settings, possibly 900P or 720P resolution (shouldn't be too bad on a display this small) and DLSS/FSR to get the most out of the display.

Great for Sims
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this on sale and its been great to play sims on. Way better graphics than i had on my 2015 mac book air haha. No issues with overheating either which was a constant struggle for my past laptops! Also I utlilized best buys price match program which I love! The battery sucks while playing sims (1.5 hrs if im lucky) but I use it plugged in mostly anyways.

Nice entry level laptop with dedicated graphics
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is quite snappy and capable. It ran everything very quickly and easily with regards to basic internet and editing and document creation. It can even handle gaming at reasonable FPS (60-ish) if you keep settings on mid to mid/low. Overall, I recommend it, especially if you can get it at sale price ($520). It's well worth it at that price. I would say its only two negatives are the screen is nice, but a bit on the dim side and the battery life could be better. Still, for $520, no real complaints, consdering its parts and feature set.

Excellent gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my girlfriend for college and gaming. She loves it! It has a great display and lit keyboard. It was definitely worth the price! She can play any game she wants on it, it has great graphics and after I upgraded the ram, it flies! Though that was not needed, just a preference thing.

Great for work or gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this laptop for work for about 14 months now and I love it. I upgraded the RAM to 32GB and use a second monitor with it. I have multiple windows with several tabs open, plus Slack and I run Google Meet and Zoom simultaneously without issues. I do wish it would allow me to use my camera in both meetings at once, but it's not a dealbreaker. This computer has been super reliable and fast. I recommend it to my coworkers as well and my son also has one for gaming. Great laptop!

A Good Entry-Level Gaming Laptop for Kids!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Functions as expected and the most affordable entry level gaming laptop in the market! Bought as a gift for my young son who recently got a hang of playing online games with his friends. My son loves the wider screen, graphics and speed upgrade from the laptop he uses for school. Although I noticed that the battery drains a bit faster than my HP elitebook as we need to reconnect to power after an hour and a half from full charge.

Good Gaming Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good laptop. I use basically to study and to play some games. I've played mainly PUBG on it and it can handle it really well. I've installed more RAM, and it was easy to do it. The only concern is that sometimes the WIFI network disappears. Looking at the forums, I saw that the power cable needs to be disconnected and connected again, and that solves the issue every time, but it's still inconvenient.

Steal at $450
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you can catch this laptop at $450 on sale, it’s a great deal. Just be sure to upgrade to 16 gb of ram which is easily doable yourself. It is ideal for esports titles, indie games, and triple a titles released prior to ≈2022. With the help of nvidia dlss, it can even run recently released triple a titles at acceptable frame rates and video quality.

Great performance and value in a slim gaming lapto
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the HP Victus 15.6” gaming laptop about a month ago and have been very happy with it so far. As someone who travels frequently for work, I wanted a powerful but portable laptop that could handle modern games at reasonable settings. This Victus model has exceeded my expectations. The AMD Ryzen 5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU provide smooth gameplay and fast loading times for the games I play most often like Valorant, Apex Legends, and Fortnite. I’m able to run these graphically-demanding titles on medium to high settings while maintaining great frame rates. The laptop also boots up quickly thanks to the fast 512GB SSD. Despite being a slim gaming machine, the Victus 15.6” feels sturdy and durable thanks to its solid metal build. The 15.6-inch FHD display is sharp and vivid with great viewing angles. I appreciate the subtle gamer aesthetic as well - this laptop looks sleek for work use but still has a bit of gamer flair when I want it. Battery life is also impressive - I can get up to 5 hours of general use which is more than enough for the workday. Overall for under $900, this Victus model packs a real punch and has been a reliable, high-performing gaming companion. If you need a powerful gaming laptop for travel and don't want to break the bank, I highly recommend the Victus 15.6”.
