Surprising Disappointment

Either I got a lemon or these reviews are heavily curated. I can't really say too much about the laptop because the battery drains insanely fast -- full charge to dead in about an hour -- wouldn't even survive a two hour flight. Yes, I understand that there is supposed to be a fix for the issue, but I'm not taking a chance on that not working, failing later, or shortening the battery life. A 'fix' on a new laptop should not be necessary. Other notes: - This is an "all plastic" build so durability may also be an issue. - The keyboard is heavily skewed to the left putting 'center of keyboard' at about 1/3 of the way from the left; this also has the effect of putting your right palm (if you rest it on the laptop) squarely on top of the touch pad. What the heck, HP?

(internet explorer, google, or even the task manager) it also falls apart when it comes to battery life; making it a low 3 hours while running a zoom call or power point.
