My brother got this as a gift and he loves it. It has held up really well for a year. No issues with updates, audio, he games smite, league, and overwatch on it. Fast loading, nice graphics. Works better then a different one I bought myself from Best buy that was more expensive. Best for it's price range. Fan seems a little loud at times though but that's a lot of laptops playing high graphic games

What an amazing computer, this thing is so fast compared to what I had previous. I wanted something that could run the photoshop suite and this laptop handles it like a champ. As far as gaming, that is something I do not do, however, given its ability to run other power hungry programs I am sure that it will game just fine. Also the wireless card is amazingly fast and is true to form. Only downside is the battery, it could be a lot better for a computer this powerful, hence the 4 stars.

Purchased this laptop around 3 months ago. Out of the box works great! Gave 4 stars only because 8gb of RAM is a bit low for gaming. Would definitely recommend adding additional RAM. I added another 8gb and runs great! Use daily for work and casual gaming.

This is is a solid choice for gamers on a budget. It offers impressive gaming performance and a fast SSD, all in an attractive package. While it has some limitations, like the RAM and battery life, these can be overlooked considering its price point. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to fellow gamers looking for an affordable gaming laptop.

Great value for the money when on sale, got mine for $549 during Labor Day sale plenty fast for playing EverQuest and Death Stranding. Came with a one month Xbox subscription which I have yet to redeem. So far the 8 GB of RAM has been sufficient. Would be a 5 star review but the battery life at best when unplugged might be two hours with just basic web surfing , about 1.25 hours playing EverQuest using integrated processor, about an hour if using the 1650 discrete GPU. Will be upgrading to either 16 or 32 GB ram. Internal temps have stayed below 140F for both CPU and GPU with fan settings on automatic, screen refresh at 60 hz while playing Death Stranding. Will update once I play some of the Xbox games available with free pass.

Good gaming laptop for PC gaming. There’s pretty well PCVR can be a bit laggy in some games other than that great gaming laptop you’re just doing PC gaming on it

I've had this computer for almost a year now and It's my first experience with a gaming laptop. I would extremely recommend upgrading your ram slots before judging its performance. I bought 2 packs of 16gb ddr4 3200hz and it made it so much faster. It runs most titles at 1080p 60fps, and it does everything else you want a computer to do.

Pretty nice gaming laptop. Can run most games I've tried on full visual settings, no lag. Only negative is the laptop takes a lot of power, so much that you basically need it plugged in to enjoy anything over a couple hours of game play... Which basically defeats the purpose of a mobile PC. Works good in the hotel and travel where you wouldn't bring a desktop.

I'm glad I purchased this laptop. I need a solid unit as I move around a lot to do my work. It is a heavier unit, but I don't mind the extra weight because it is sturdy. Its fans are very quiet and effective at keeping it cool. I did upgrade the memory as suggested, and this thing handles everything I have put to it without a problem. It is a good machine.

This is my first gaming laptop. I know the specs wouldn’t blow it out of the water but when I bought this it was a sale for $549. Can’t pass it up. If you are going to be playing triple A titles I would buy an additional 8gb of ram( super easy install) if you mr like me and a want a good budget friendly laptop then this is it! Top of the line for the target audience

I've been looking for a newer laptop for quite a while and finally pulled the trigger on this one. I have a Thinkpad T420 with a 2nd gen i5 and a Macbook Pro 13 with a 3rd gen i5 so it was time to upgrade. Before I even turned it on I upgraded the RAM to 16 gig, then I turned off the TPM. I've used Win 11 and I'm not impressed, so I booted off a USB key and installed Windows 10 Pro before I even let Win 11 boot. After tracking down drivers for everything I have a very usable new laptop. The speed of this thing is amazing. I have a tower with an 11th gen i7 11700K and NVMe and this thing is just as fast. The display is also bright and crisp and doesn't have any glare. The speakers are typical laptop speakers and I wouldn't want to listen to a concert on them but they're okay for what they are. My only real complaint about this is the keyboard. I write a lot and I'm very used to the keyboard on my T420, which in my opinion has the best laptop keyboard out there. Well, all Thinkpads T420 and older have a perfect keyboard. I like the number pad on this one but the keys are too smooth and don't have the right travel if you're typing at 70 wpm. Keyboard aside, it's a great PC with plenty of raw power and a great display. I don't know about its gaming ability, but for most everyday tasks it's just about perfect for it's price point. I'd definitely recommend it.

Pretty solid laptop. Good for gaming on medium or high settings depending on the game. The battery life is pretty standard, it does drain pretty quickly if you're doing something more demanding on the laptop. The screen wobble is not that noticeable. Solid built computer. The only issue I do have with it is the colors on the screen are sometimes a bit off, nothing too bad (most people won't notice it or care). But sense the screen is matt and not glossy I feel like some of the colors and textures are sometimes a bit off. I got the laptop on sale for $479 which is well worth what this laptop has to offer! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a gaming laptop for their teenager or an adult (like myself) who likes to work on their laptop and occasionally game. I would suggest though adding another 8gb stick of RAM to it!

This is really a great laptop! I bought it for my elderly father and he loves it. The TotalTech membership was able to get it mostly set up for him before we picked it up and I actually like it better than my laptop in many ways. The downside would be the 8GB Memory and the smaller hard drive, but it is fast and gives him everything he wants and needs.
