I got it as a box last April. It is working well. I am just using a holder under it for the heat. As a programmer I like and it is worth its price.

I love this gaming laptop, but I am a bit frustrated with having to have replaced the battery twice in a year and a half. Otherwise, it is a wonder!

it is a good gaming laptop when on sale. Maybe too got used to MacBooks that I became really peaky about overall build quality and materials. Although this laptop has plenty of raw power, everything else just feels cheap. I get it, it is a budget gaming laptop, and I don't blame this device or HP. It is just hard for me to not notice these things when moving from my work MacBook to this HP Victus. The display is bad, the sound is okay, and the keyboard is not bad, but feels cheap as well. I still think it is a good budget gaming laptop but just not for me, perhaps I need to look at something in higher price ranges

This has got to be the best not-so expensive gaming laptop I have bought for myself! I love ark survival evolved and I could run it pretty smoothly in this computer

Needed something to travel with and decided to pull the plug on this laptop since it was on sale. Needless to say this laptop has everything any basic person would want/need. Spec wise this laptop is loaded (In my opinion)

This gaming laptop has everything my boys wanted and needed to game online. I am looking at purchasing a second one so they can have their own.

Runs games like cyberpunk and cod perfectly just remember to clean out the fans once in a while otherwise performance drops

I purchased this laptop for instructional design work. I am able to run Articulate Storyline with multiple other programs without having to worry about speed or functionality. The display is excellent as well.

The Laptop ran well with a few hiccups. Of which was mainly heat oriented from gaming.

The case leaves a little bit to be desired; however, the computer performs! I'm very happy with my purchase at this price point.

Really good laptop been using for about half a year now and have not experienced any issues. I only recommend purchasing this laptop when it has a discount.

I love the computer, really. It's got a lot of memory and plays all the games I want to play (Sims 4 with cc, modded Minecraft, dark deceptions, and streams games between PS5 & Xbox). They all run good and dandy but that's not the problem with this computer. I have no idea why but the wifi is constantly disappearing on this computer. It is just thanos snapped out of existence, I've SEEN it happen. Suddenly the wifi symbol blinks out and I have no internet. My computer suddenly has NO wifi drivers. I've now taken it back to Beat Buy 4 times go have the Geek squad look at it. The first time I was told it was the wifi card and we sent it back to get a new one.... Then the same problem happened about 3 weeks later on a brand new computer. We took it in and I'm told it's a software issue by a nice helpful guy. He fixes it and about maybe... 3 or 4 weeks later, it's messed up again. I go into best buy and a different employee basically installs drivers until the computer fixes itself (which I tried at home to no avail!!!). Now it's wifi-less again, exactly 3 days later. I do like this computer but cannot full heartedly recommend this headache to anyone. I've never had a computer with this consistent problem before, over MULTIPLE versions of the same computer. I replaced it and it's still crap. I'd buy a new computer but I can't freaking afford it :,)

Worked out of the box and software is solid. Play WOW on it with no issues. Bluetooth and wifi connection is seamless. Lil heavy but I like a solid machine and this is it.

Excellent upgrade from the old desktop gaming PC, can't beat the price. Attempted to build a similar quality gaming rig and this ended up being a few hundred $$$ cheaper!

It is a very awesome laptop. And one of the best laptop I have ever owned. I have been using this for a year now and it has never been laggy of anything.

My old laptop was showing its age and had recently given me the blue screen of death so I needed to replace it. The manufacturer was HP, and it had given me years of service to this point so I wanted another HP model. This one was in the price range I was shopping with and I'm very pleased with it so far. It's really, really fast with great graphics. The only thing I dislike about it is that it doesn't have a CD/DVD drive, but apparently those are not installed anymore. Anyway, I highly recommend this model if you're shopping for a middle price range computer.
