Excellent Laptop for academic work and research for university and college students

I bought this laptop from best buy, so far everything is good, working very good no issues, looks good color it's nice , very fast opening the sites and gaming is good, played racing game on it , worked great, except the battery, goes low very fast even when you search websites opening more than one , battery not so great, everything else is good

I have only a few problems with the laptop. The whole product seems a little plastic-y (not really noticeable, but feels weird). The laptop heats up quickly and can be quite loud (depending on the game you’re playing of course). Overall, the performance of the laptop has been exceptional with only a few drawbacks. Definitely a good purchase.

It was probably ok to pay for the laptop at 1100 dollars however after I brought it, it went on discount for 850 dollars... so I am very sad over this fact. Anyways, the HP Victus is a good buy, but a actually a great buy when its at 850 dollars. The specs are nice, the quality is decent, and when its up and running it works like a wonder. Good for gaming or office work.

The device feels solid, not flimsy at all; yet not particularly heavy. For general tasks it is fast, as you would expect. I have not used it for games yet. The USB-A ports are tight. One needs to carefully exert some force when inserting or unplugging cables. Other ports have worked fine: HDMI, headphones, card reader. The fan is noisy and stays on a lot, even when just checking emails. Once, I even considered returning it because of the constant noise. * I changed the OMEN settings, but it didn't have a noticeable effect. I wish it had a dedicated key for turning on/off the wi-fi/airplane mode. Summarizing, I expect it to perform like a workhorse, but definitely not a polished one.

My son uses as his gaming computer. Works perfect for what he wanted. He can play all the games including Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox and several games on Steam.

Great computer that handles everything with ease. Definitely worth it at the price point.

Great gaming computer. Can run arma 3 with about 50 mods and a load of AI, got it on sale

Love this laptop, I'm glad I purchased it. Runs everything really smooth.

I don't really have a lot of experience with computers, however I really enjoy this one. To be honest I just use computers to play the sims, but I'm actually able to play other games with this. Also, my old computer took like 23 hours to download sims and all my expansion packs. But this laptop (on the same wifi) took about 45 minutes. Bestbuy sent this to me and I got it a day earlier than I expected, and it was very well-packaged. :)
