Decent, I could've paid less literally

Anyways, the HP Victus is a good buy, but a actually a great buy when its at 850 dollars. The specs are nice, the quality is decent, and when its up and running it works like a wonder. Good for gaming or office work.

For general tasks it is fast, as you would expect. I have not used it for games yet. The USB-A ports are tight. One needs to carefully exert some force when inserting or unplugging cables. Other ports have worked fine: HDMI, headphones, card reader. The fan is noisy and stays on a lot, even when just checking emails. Once, I even considered returning it because of the constant noise. * I changed the OMEN settings, but it didn't have a noticeable effect. I wish it had a dedicated key for turning on/off the wi-fi/airplane mode. Summarizing, I expect it to perform like a workhorse, but definitely not a polished one.

I mostly use it for gaming, but also it can handle some light photo editing and music production. It’s been my daily driver pc for a few years and I couldn’t be happier.

To be honest I just use computers to play the sims, but I'm actually able to play other games with this. Also, my old computer took like 23 hours to download sims and all my expansion packs. But this laptop (on the same wifi) took about 45 minutes. Bestbuy sent this to me and I got it a day earlier than I expected, and it was very well-packaged. :)
