Great gaming laptop for the price and basic needs.

I’m very satisfied with this computer, it performs well.

Bit heavy to carry around but great laptop. Runs many games without problem. Display is so good it almost overloads my brain. Battery life is not that great compared to other laptops but again, this is gaming laptop.

I read most reviews online and vía YouTube and they would have mixed reviews. I personally think that for a person that wants to play games, but is not true gamer; it’s perfect. The battery is decent on performance mode.

Bought this on sale and worth every dollar. Recently added a USB-C docking station and running three monitors. Next, considering upgrading RAM to 32GB. Will then be a laptop to last me the next decade.

Great laptop for what I needed for photography. Only down side is battery use is good for up to hour and a half and thats with it on low power usage. But speed and performance is at top notch.

Bought this laptop for church video recording, editing & live streaming. Impressive speed and performance at a great price. Should be a great gaming laptop for those wanting something for portable gaming.

Open box purchase resulted in the initial person setting up bitlocker security that locked me out of my computer as I did not have the 48 number code or the registered email to get the code. In the end I needed to reinstall windows to bypass. Other than that the system is working well.

I have had a series of serious problems with this laptop that I’ve experienced over the past year, all of which started well after the return window closed. First, the Wi-Fi adapter suddenly stopped working entirely about 2 months into ownership. There was an error showing in device manager. I looked on HP’s website for it and they had released a fix, but ONLY for the Intel Wi-Fi chipset! This model has the cheaper non-Intel Wi-Fi, of which many people online have written their tales of woe dealing with it in several models of laptops. I was eventually able to solve the problem after doing an extremely specific procedure in an exact order. Second, the power connector on the laptop became loose about 3 months in. I was always careful to insert the charger so as not to put any lateral force on the connector inside the laptop, but it was futile. Third, the display started going bad about 8 months in. I brought it in for warranty repair and they immediately denied it. I took extremely good care of this laptop, but because the display flexes with just the smallest touch, it is garbage. Battery life is also garbage (2-3 hours on battery doing anything at all) but what else can you expect from a gaming laptop? I understood it would be bad when I bought it. On a positive note, the laptop was fast enough to run my engineering software, which is what I needed it for anyway. I’m stuck with this piece of junk for a bit longer, but I will be saving to buy something better. Something not HP. As the person in charge of IT at the company I work for, we will never buy HP products for as long as I work there. Everything HP makes is complete junk. There is a reason they are called Horrible Products. I gave them one chance when I bought this laptop, and never again will I give them a chance. As the IT guy in my family, we will pay extra for anything to not be HP, Omen, Victus, or any other sub-brands.

Great gaming laptop for the price! Most games I’ve played on the laptop have run very well. Only downsides are: very bulky charger that doesn’t pack well at all; and the laptop’s outer plastic shell is a bit flimsy for the weight of the laptop.

Bought this for my brother who is starting college. He is very happy with the purchase. Bit on the heavy side as it is a gaming laptop, but that is expected. Great specs for the price.

this is a great laptop for gaming, everything runs good, i’ve played mw2, mw3, fortnite and all these other big games on pretty high graphic settings, no problems so far. i’ve had it since dec2022

I don't use this laptop for gaming first of all but I love it. The price was great ans and I'm able to do multiple processes without it slowing. Superfast. Great price for I7 processor.

I love it... It's my first gaming laptop and I'm not disappointed. Performance is solid and gameplay is very smooth. The only knock I'll say is the battery life... But if u plug the charger in your fine.

This is my first gaming pc and I love it! I can tell why some people say the display is a bit dim, but it hasn’t been such an issue as to affect my gameplay. When this was on sale, it was such a steal for the processor and graphics card! I’d recommend to anyone

Laptop is overall nice. Good specs, good feel, smooth running. Looking to upgrade ram for 3D modeling programs to run smoother. Hinges wobble a little. Not a issue if it’s stationary during use.
